Just played a kickass show I'm so pumped now!!

Oli shook his head and blinked before looking at her again.  How had she gone that far that fast?  "What the hell?" He skated up to her, "How did you...."

She was far ahead of him before he knew it. "You never said no teleporting!" She yelled back laughing.

Letting go of her hand, he sped ahead, then turned around and skated backwards to look back at her.  "I'll race you." He said jokingly before turning back around and skating faster, a grin on his face.

She arched a brow at the kiss- she wasn’t used to kindness nevermind affection. It was unfamiliar to her, and yet at the same time, nice.

"It is" she agreed simply, laughing as she returned her gaze to the others who stumbled around them.

Oliver couldn't help but giggle as she spoke.  She actually seemed to be normal now and she was having a good time.  Leaning over to her slightly, he pressed his lips to her cheek quickly, then grinning.  "It is, isn't it?"

Still smiling she nodded happily swaying now to the music playing over the ice rink.Things were peaceful in an odd holding hands with a stranger in a realm she didn’t belong to way…  "I think I understand now- ice skating is nice."

"I agree! Awesome, I'll let you know when our next show is and you can come see us." He grinned, happy that she finally responded like a normal person.

"Music is wonderful, I would love to see you perform." She beamed up at her new friend. “And I adore traveling as well."

"We actually have a few shows coming up at local bars if you're interested..." He added, "Haha, yeah I suppose, but I usually do that I mean I don't want to miss out on the rest of the bands!"

"That sounds really fun." she beamed, getting excited already. “Oh my gosh, it would be so awesome to know that you’re joining the concert goers after you play. You’re so down-to-earth."

"We'll probably be opening,  so after we play I'll come join the crowd so we can watch the rest of the show together." He said, trying to make her more comfortable.

"I…" she paused. It sounded really fun.

"Yeah…" she grinned. “Yeah okay…sure." she tucked a lock of hair behind her ear.

"Whatever." He shook his head playfully. "I'll, uh, let you know when we have a show if you want?"

"Oh? No diva demands, mr cool?" she couldn’t help but tease him a bit.

"Yeah I do, I write a lot of our chord progressions too." He said, shaking his head at the thought of people not writing their own songs, "I know, pop stars these days, haha."

"Did you write it?" she asked, she wondered if he was a writer himself. “Not a lot of people write songs anymore, has the music industry changed?" she wondered.

"Thanks," He laughed, "We actually got it from a Jack Sparrow line in Pirates of the Caribbean. All right, well make sure you listen to Sleepwalking, that's my favorite!"

"That’s a really wicked name for a band." she smiled. “I have a feeling I’m going to fall in love with some of your songs. I can’t wait."

"Of course! Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, The Black Keys, Indie is great! My band is more metal core/electronic, you should take a listen! We're called Bring Me the Horizon.."

"In all honesty? I really like Indie, I’m absolutely obsessed with the Arctic Monkeys. Have you heard of them?"

"That's awesome, you're like a genius." He nodded, "Y-yeah I do vocals for my band but I also play guitar and bass on my own...What kind of music do you listen to?"

"Oh it’s nothing, just physics and microbiology, loads of DNA sampling and a bit of experiments with a bunch of mice."

"Wow…a musician? That’s pretty ace. Do you play your own instruments?"

"Whoa that's badass, you're a scientist?! What kind of science?" He asked, his face lighting up.  He'd never met a scientist his age before, "I'm h-heading to the studio to do some recording.."

"I’m fine. I’m just here doing some lab work, just normal science stuff for the labs." she smiled at the boy as he fidgeted his hands. “What about you?"
