Old Marsh Country Club is a semi-private, 18 hole, championship golf course located in Wells, Maine. The club was designed by Brian Silva and built in 2008 as an homage to the golden age stylings of C.B. Macdonald and Seth Raynor. In its very first year of operation it was ranked “Top 10 Best in America” by GOLF Magazine and is consistently ranked in the Top 25 Courses in New England by New England Golf Monthly. 2015 was the first year of full operation of “Old Marsh Himalayas”, a 150-yard putting course and practice area inspired by the epic Ladies’ Putting Course at St. Andrews’ in Scotland. Club Championship Weekends are COMING IN HOT!
It’s Club Championship time!
The Men’s and Women’s Club Championships will be held on Saturday July 31st and Sunday, August 1st. There are Gross and Net divisions.
The Men’s Championship is a two-day, 36 hole tournament, gross and net.
The Women’s Championship is (your choice) two days-36 holes for the Championship Flight (gross) and a one-day 18 hole tournament for the Net Flight.
The Women’s Net Tournament field will tee off just before the Championship Flight on Sunday, so that the players can watch and cheer for the final groups as they arrive at the 18th green!
Men’s Senior Club Championship
(age 60 and over as of July 30,2021)
will be held on Saturday and Sunday, August 7th and 8th.
36-hole individual stroke play competition. Gross and Net divisions (GHIN required for Net Division)
Women’s Senior Club Championship
(age 60 and over as of July 30,2021)
will be held on Saturday and Sunday, August 7th and 8th.

Conditions are great out there! Come check us out!
The crew has been working tirelessly and it really shows! The dryness has really kept everyone on their toes, to say the least! We had a real solid storm on Saturday that brought high winds and a good amount of rain to the course. Today we sprayed our first fungicide application along with some fertilizer. You’ll really start to see it POP in the coming days.
