-summary - charles and reader decide that it is the perfect day to spend time with their two daughters at the beach

Y/n smiles as she watches her husband holding their two children close to him. Charles is propped up against a chair under the white and blue umbrella that they set up a couple hours ago. Louise is sitting on his lap while Juliana is leaning on against her father’s shoulder.

Y/n hides her smile behind the book she’s reading. She has her wet hair put up in a clip and one of Charles’s sweatshirts pulled over her body.

Eventually, Juliana gets bored of lingering around her father and wanders to her mother. Y/n smiles, letting her daughter crawl into her lap, sheltering her with her arms.

Louise smiles at her mother from her father’s arms and reaches for her. Charles follows his daughter’s small hands to his wife and sighs as both his girls abandon him. He reluctantly hands her over with a smile.

Y/n sets her book away and holds Louise is her arms, her small head resting on her mother’s shoulder. Charles smiles, looking at his wife and two children. He soon settles next Y/n, laying beside her and their children.

Charles plays with Juliana’s light brown hair as she begins to babble on about something that doesn’t truly interest him but he still listens. Y/n smiles leaning down to kiss her husband on the cheek.

The two of them hold their children close to them as they smile at each other. They know Juliana and Louise might not remember this day but they will never forget the memories.

Y/n wakes up to her toddler shifting in her arms and turning in to face her chest. Michaela gently whines while reaching her arms out to be comforted by her mother.

Y/n opens her eyes and immediately sits up, pulling her toddler into her lap. The little girl with blonde hair and blue eyes settles herself against her mother upper body.

The y/h/c woman looks over, expecting to see her husband only to be greeted with an empty bed. Y/n’s nose scrunches up and she notices the half open bedroom door.

“Let’s go see where daddy went shall we?” The little figure in Y/n arms nods then buries her face in her mother’s chest.

Y/n takes the walk down the hall and stairs slowly and quietly, holding her daughter and occasionally kissing her head. The curtains of all the windows she passes letting sunlight pour in.

As the mother and daughter head into the kitchen, the voice of Mick and laughter of the twins catch their attention. Y/n leans against the doorframe, toddler in her arms as a smile graces her face.

The twins hoover by Mick’s legs as they jump around, wooden spatulas in hand. Mick has a bright smile on his face as he tries his best to flip pancakes while trying to not get the twins injured.

Michaela giggles as she watches her dad and brothers. She squeals as she sees the bowl of cut up strawberries on the counter.

Mick immediately turns his head around to look at his wife and daughter. He grins at them, using one hand to hold a spatula while the other hand is being used to wave at his little girl.

“Mick,”

“Hm?”

“You’re burning the pancakes,”

Mick’s head flips to look at the pan, cursing as he quickly tries to save the burning batter while simultaneously trying to turn the stove off. The twins and Michaela laugh and scream as Y/n watches her husband scramble with a loving smile on her face.

a/n - girl dad moment 🤍 okay, so girls’ names are abella (7), catalina (5), gabriela (3) and baby esmeralda (1)

Y/n leans against the doorframe, arms across her chest as she watches her four kids pile on top of her husband.

“Papa,” Catalina leans over from where she’s standing on multiple pillows, whispering in her father’s ear before falling onto his mid section.

Carlos lets out a groan, turning over making Catalina nearing fall off the bed before he catches her pulling her close to his side.

With his eyes still close Carlos reaches for his other kids, only to hear them squeal. Abella is the first to be caught into her father’s arms and is squished beside her sister.

The two protest as Gabriela and Esme cuddle against their mother’s pillow, watching as their older sisters struggle and laugh in their father’s arms.

Of course, Carlos eventually snags the two toddlers into his arms. Holding Esmeralda in his lap and Gabriela squished between Abella and Catalina.

“Are you just going to stand there and watch?” Carlos smiles towards his wife’s direction.

Y/m shrugs before running towards the bed, landing right beside her husband and their girls.
