So while they were in Karafuto, when they talk about Ogata known as Yamaneko. Ogata sees one and was about to shoot it, but instead walks away. Me, being someone who rarely saw snow until I came to Japan, was a little all too excited. So I threw a snowballs at Ogata. Although, he always pretends he’s not interested, I can see his mouth twitching into a smirk. At some point, Ogata plays along after my barrage of snowballs. Well, until it results in me tackling Ogata because I can’t stand a chance against his aim. And so we lay in the snow happily, whilst Kiroranke tells us to hurry up because we’re falling behind. I saw this meme and I knew that I needed this part of the story drawn. Also, we built a wonky snowman and made snow bunnies together. I actually have a commission of ogata making snow bunnies.

Golden Kamuy Official Jewelry

There’s official Golden Kamuy jewelry and finally I was able to purchase the Ogata necklace! I’ve already had the Ogata ring but it was difficult to find a necklace in good condition since it’s sold out and only second hand is available. The ring has his name engraved inside and his scars on the outside. His rifle and scars are engraved onto the necklace I’m not lying when I say he’s my husband (◡‿◡✿)

Meow Meow Assemble!!

Yay I get to delve in further on us! So I mentioned at some point that me and Ogata has a running thing that we’re like cats. Ogata is known as yama neko 山猫わand Ogata calls me shiro koneko 白子猫. He gave that nickname because of how clingy and nuzzly I am. He’s a hypocrite because as the relationship progresses and he becomes more in tune with his feelings and emotions for me, he begins to be just as clingy and quite possessive. He will give guys who linger and flirt with me dirty looks as he makes it knows to them that I’m his. A very territorial cat isn’t he. Sometimes, I enjoy acting helpless since I occasionally want to see this side of him.

As we traverse Hokkaido, we like to talk about how we will be reborn cats due to how we’re constantly intertwined im each others arms when we’re alone. With our faces in the crooks of each others necks. So here we are. Except we’re reborn as kemonomimis.

Ogata isn’t one much for being verbal. And once he’s more accustomed to how physical I am, he becomes significantly affectionate and possessive. Hence that section completed max leveled out to 100. Resisting the urge to go in further detail, because I want to explain it along with my commissions.

That last illustration of Ogata with the flowers, for the lack of words, hit different. It was the first thing that popped up when I opened tumblr and my heart skipped a beat. I was stuck standing there in the nursing station staring at him, all emotional. (Thankful my fellow PACU nurses love anime and already know about Ogata, and they’re all for it)

I love admiring flowers as I walk down a street. Even if I see one tiny pretty flower, i would stop and admire it. Id always say, ooooh flowers and rub the petal to feel the soft sensation. It’s cheesy but I can’t help it.

The image of Ogata holding the wildflower in his hand really struck a cord in my heart. It’s exactly how I would imagine him in this situation, handing me the flower. The expression is giving, “I thought about you” but in a reserved manner. It’s Ogata’s way of being bashful in his own self-restrained way. He probably saw me admiring flowers during our travels. And being more for acts rather than words. He silently picks a flower to give to me. Excuse me as I go cry a bit.

Golden Kamuy Bear Course

There’s a restaurant called Matagi that served food with various rare meats, including bear. They had a golden kamuy course for whoever watched the live action movie. We were contemplating ordering the bear paw but between the 3 of us there was no way we’d finish it. But instead we had the bear stew which was very very Hinna. And as expected, I held a little photoshoot of Hyakuchan everywhere.

As much as I love tragic endings. Ogata already got his tragic ending. He deserves a different type of peace that he longed for. Although, there is angst and pain on the way, our story ends happily.

No dying together. No me dying and him crying. Nor vice versa. None of that. We’re surviving hell and we will live a peaceful life in ibaraki while Ogata hunts and brings back ducks. For godsakes, I’ll beat that and my love into Ogata.

Hakodate and the Golden Kamuy Exhibit

Last year May, I went to Hokkaido. Visiting some key locations. Unfortunately I was unable to go to Abashiri, but I’ll be returning again to have a longer stay in Hokkaido. And, of course I got pictures of my bb. Then I proceeded to spend unholy amounts on the merch.

It’s modern AU or IRL of me. My hair is actually silver/blue. I often wear all black. I’m on my phone a lot admiring my 2000+ photos of Ogata. (I upgraded my phone for maximum storage for that reason hehehe). I’m a nurse, hence the meds and bandaids. For our modern AU, Ogata likes to pick me up from the hospital after my shifts so the doctors don’t try to hang out with me. He’s a dentist, so I get free teeth cleanings. Ogata’s a sleepy boi that’s very clingy and cuddly when we’re alone. We have a thing that we tell each other, that we would be reborn as cats with how much we’re constantly intertwined and nuzzling each other. But I will delve into that on another post. Also, Ogata doesn’t like it when I go to the gym alone so he either goes with me or convinces me to stay home to cuddle.

So recently I took the Meyer-Briggs personality test. I found out I was ISTJ and Ogata is ISTP. Then I stumbled across fanart of the ISTJ and ISTP characters. So of course I had to get a commission of it. Ogata is normally aloof and uncaring to others, except to me. He’s quite possessive albeit more subtly. Unless, he really needs to make a point that I’m his. Which then brings us to this situation, an overprotective and possessive Ogata. Which I don’t mind.
