           ❛  𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐘, 𝒊𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒅𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒕 for tallulah to focus —— her mind was constantly wandering back & forth between work matters, & the stress that her ex-husband placed her under ; her life not as perfect as it appeared on instagram or television. she had managed to become a hot topic amongst the american public ; many often alleging that she didn’t care about the quality of the products she sold. sure, maybe in the beginning it was meant to be more of a quick & simple fad, but now that she’s built something of an empire out of her cosmetics, merchandise, & skincare, she was almost 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒄𝒆𝒅 to care ; forced to give a damn about the customers that support her. she’s never thought ill of them, no, but the constant scrutiny has seemingly taken the fun out of the creative process for her. so, in order for her to get her mind from following a path of negative thinking patterns, she pulled her phone out & stared at her reflection ; applying silly filters to rouse laughter. if she was merely at home doing this, it’d be perfectly fine, but that wasn’t the case. 

          instead, she was having lunch with a cohort. did she appear rude ? definitely, but she hoped they wouldn’t mind. she didn’t mean to ignore them. when she realized, she set her phone back in her limited edition hermès birkin bag, & gleamed over at her sweet company ; offering an apologetic smile. ❝ 𝒔𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒚 —— whenever it gets too quiet, like, my mind starts going places that i’d rather it not, so i needed a distraction, ❞ she mused, pushing her plate of salade niçose aside. ❝ are you enjoying your food ? i love this place... it’s just a pity that paparazzi flock here... like, sure, it’s been years since i’ve become a public figure, but like, i still feel like an animal at a zoo with all the cameras, & eyes, pointed at me. ❞ she laughed, shaking her head before picking up her glass of wine to take a long sip.
