The mages of this place do not trust her any more than they do those of the south, she’s disappointed to discover. It’s in the hopes of demonstrating her trustworthiness that she’s agreed to venture out in search of herbs the quartermaster required.

Nia’s hurried pace is brought to a violent halt just outside the village gates, however (most likely due to her collision with the person unfortunate enough to have chosen the same path she was on to enter Haven).

In all the fear and disorganization remaining of the flight from Haven, she’s unsure of what assistance she can give. Thus Nia finds herself hovering around the makeshift clinic, just far enough away to avoid getting in the healers’ way. Her attention settles on a figure she vaguely remembered seeing around the  village, and she approaches, placing a hand on their shoulder.

“ Is there anything you need help doing? ”
