mio's face glows red at the sudden compliment, and her ears perk up as she looks away from eunie, hiding her face behind her hand as she takes a moment to try and regain her composure.

❝ y'can't just say things like that... sheesh... ❞

and then, almost too quietly to hear, she adds:

dead  and  EMOTIONLESS  blue  orbs  stared  at  @offfseer  who  stood  before  him.  he  had  not  expected  to  encounter  her  in  a  place  such  as  this.  how  peculiar  to  see  her  alone  and  without  her  garbage  group.  taking  a  few  steps  forward,  his  left  hand  went  up  to  grip  the  hilt  of  his  sword.

❝  what  are  you  doing  here  in  lake  rezzento  by  yourself.  it's  unusual  to  see  you  alone  since  you're  rather  close  with  those  OUROBOROS  fools.  is  this  some  ploy  to  catch  me  off  guard.  because  if  it  is,  then  you're  quite  the  idiot  mio.  i  won't  hesitate  to  cut  all  of  you  down.  ❞

❝ not really any of your business, is it? ❞

it was noah’s voice coming from behind her, but the words made it clear which “noah” it was walking up to her. it wasn't like her to be so snippy, of course, but surely she could be forgiven considering who she was talking to. 

n wasn't really one for small talk, but mio could tell he wouldn’t make good on that threat of his. after all, if he had really intended to cut her down like he said, he would’ve done so already. she didn’t much care to speculate on why he hesitated, but she would use it to her advantage all the same.

❝ sometimes you just gotta get some alone time, and be with your thoughts. that’s all. what about you, though? what brings you here by yourself? ❞

 ❝ –  'ere, i'll show you mine if you show me yours.  ❞ EUNIE GRINS, cheekily as she gently plays with the ends of her feathers, a little relieved that she wasn't the only one curious about the others head piece. @eunieinnit

❝ show you... mine? ❞

mio's ears flicker for a moment as she wonders what eunie was talking about. she didn't have wings on her head, all she had was her... her ears...

❝ o-oh! yeah, right... course. ❞

she wasn't exactly used to someone calling special attention to the ears on the top of her head...

which made sense when she thought about it. eunie probably wasn't used to people in the kevesi colonies calling attention to her wings. after all, it was much more natural over there, just as her ears were back in the agnian colonies.

❝ alright, sure. dunno what you'll get outta it, though. my ears aren't that interestin'... ❞

mio wasn't normally one for gossip, but with eunie, things like that just came out so naturally. maybe she was a bad influence sometimes!

❝ sure is loud though, isn't it? surprised people can make such loud noises without even realizin' it. ❞
