They called me today.

They don’t usually do that. I mean - I’m happy about it, obviously, it’s just - well, after I… left, they would call and text all the time. Kinda like echoes of what we were before. Then it all… stopped.

I thought it was because they gave up on me. I kept telling myself, “you’re an idiot, Blake - they’d never do that. They’d never give up on you. They’d never leave you.” And I wouldn’t believe myself sometimes - but this? Now? Now I know I was right. They do care. God, that makes me so fucking happy.

Seeing them today. It feels like we’ve been separated for so long and — (sigh) everything has been so frustratingly stressful lately.

We made plans on getting coffee. Should I surprise them with their order?
