Hey! Idk if anyone knows this but I also write Hannibal fanfiction too! I’ve recently started working on my “abandoned” series CARMINE which is this story on how Hannibal basically goes through religious psychosis and Will is getting stalked by him! I’ve recently reread it and found some great potential so that’s why I wanted to bring it up!

writing Armand and I’m having trouble knowing what religion he’d follow. I know in season one he was praying and was shown as a devout man. Seems like he follows the Islamic religion so I’m thinking if he participates in Ramadan. On the other hand, there’s so many biblical imagery when talking about Armand (the lamb of god, Marius literally painting Jesus Christ, painting Armand as a saint), it makes me wonder if he follows those too. We know in season two his traditions, no matter what religion, seem akin to the rituals of satan. Then again, it’d be interesting if Armand just wanted to participate in religion because he was turned at the time where hope was nonexistent to him; a privilege. Which would make sense since the man can make a religion about anything (ex. Louis “I serve a god”, lestat “he was completely unnatural”, the whole devils minion arc tbh, his obsession on seeming controlled and calculated, his cold demeanor, his demonic nature of his own being). It seems to me this guy just needs to try mushrooms!
