Just remember all creators will only be revealed on August 11th. So creators, if you want to reach out to your giftee only do it in the comments section on Ao3 (you’ll still appear to be anonymous there until we click another button that will unveil all you creators!!)

Today’s the Day!!!

Hello fellow travelers! 

It’s officially submission day! 

We wanted to remind everyone that if you need an extension, that it’s okay to ask for one! We only ask that you do so before 8pm EDT, with your Ao3 name either here (off anon) or email: octopathtravelerexchange@gmail.com.

Here’s a quickie reminder on the exchange’s rules for all of those who are still in the final stretch for editing.

Requirements for writers and artists:

Must be a brand new work

Must contain at least one character listed in the request and CANNOT include characters not listed in the request **unless otherwise stated in a prompt/additional information

Fics must be a completed fic at the minimum of 1000 words in English

Art doesn’t have to be colored, but it must be a completed work and cannot be drawn on lined paper.

We will be enforcing all DNWs on the sign-up forms

I submitted my gift fic for the exchange, but it's coming up as "Unapproved." Did I do something wrong?

Hail, Traveler.

Each time a gift is submitted, there are a few back-end things in AO3 that mod Therion and I have to do.  We are processing all the gifts, just a bit slowly due to us both working full time.  But, worry not. Mod Therion and I will contact you if anything is awry.  If you don’t hear from us, consider yourself golden.  We greatly appreciate you submitting before the deadline!
