A friend asked for book recommendations... Recommendations from a genre I don't read... Still I did my research and this is what I found...

I decided to take this away from being close to a certain blog like a Booklr and just make it a general blog for myself. Thank you to my one follower and I look forward to sharing my life with you.

Final Fantasy creator says FF6 is the "epitome of what I felt was my creative JRPG," and that replaying it after 20 years shaped the feeling he wants Fantasian to invoke | GamesRadar+
Looks like Final Fantasy 6 is getting some love. It's personally my favorite game of all time.

I was talking to the boyfriend about wanting to a read a Sci-Fi novel and I remembered getting Leviathan Wakes by James S. A. Corey for Christmas. What literary works of science fiction would you recommend?

I think it was my first pumpkin spice latte and a very interesting book, Alice by Christina Henry. The only thing that bothers me in the book is most of the men are animals. Why is everyone always raping someone or visiting brothels? I understand making it darker, but.... I don't know. Maybe it will make more sense after I finish the book. I am still enjoying the magic and other fantasy aspects of the story.

My book haul from yesterday. Alice by Christina Henry looked interesting and I love horror. Now I am collecting the graphic novels as they come out for the Animorphs series. The Message was the first animorph book I ever received at Christmas in the mid to late 90s in a small prospector cabin that had been converted into a home as rooms were added on. That home and the surrounding woods was my happy place as a child. Sadly I believe the house has been torn down and the woods logged. My childhood best friends saw the book and thought that screamed me. It was weird and odd looking... A perfect fit for their dorky friend(myself).
I definitely have an addiction for books and it's not one I mind at all. Better to get the reading bug from my mother than the alcohol one from my late father. Alas if I was rich I would probably have the original goosebumps and animorphs reprinted and illustrated for me. I can always dream.

Ribbon Grass, Cane Grass, or Peppermint Grass... Whatever you want to call it. Some my grandfather shared with me as small stalks, but now they tower over me.
I share a green thumb with my boyfriend, so that's a plus. He shared some of his plant pics with me and I look forward to the day we can grow plants together.
