совон успокаивается. далеко не сразу. ей нужно долгое время, бесконечные сутки за кассой и времена вечного недосыпа. совон нужно восстанавливать жизнь поэтапно, но, в конце концов, она справляется.

настроение ее, подобно игрушке йо-йо, еще секунду назад висевшей у самого пола на ниточке, теперь же по ней стремительно вверх взбирается. на губах у мины вновь улыбка загорается, будто бы уже одного только упоминания надежды достаточно, чтобы и ей напомнить, что рук опускать нельзя даже, и с особенности, тогда, когда очень хочется. – остается только верить, что хватит сил с этим справиться. на это и надеюсь! не хватало еще из-за мелочей всяких расстраиваться!

i. мина простая девушка, пашущая на трех работах для того, чтобы прокормить себя и свою мать, и отдать долг отца – деньги, которые он взял у синдиката охотников доя разработки оружия против вампиров, но так и не сумел отбить. не имеет ни малейшего понятия ни о существовании вампиров, ни о делах своего отца.

ii. совон обращенная несколько лет назад против своей воли вампиресса. избегает контактов не только с темным миром, с представителями которых не хочет иметь ничего общего, но и с людьми, дабы не причинять тем вред. встретила мину, когда, скрываясь от охотников, постучалась в магазинчик уже после закрытия. 

iii. уён дружок-вампирский пирожок мины. всячески отгораживает ее от тёмной стороны, но та, в общем-то, не задает вопросов ни по поводу его исключительно ночного образа жизни, ни по поводу рациона, состоящего из подозрительно красного сока грейпфрута.

iv. намджун брат-близнец совон, студент-медик. знает обо всем произошедшем с сестрой, всячески ей помогает: достает кровь, контактирует с другими вампирами, узнает об очередных облавах охотников и оберегает совон. встретил уёна во время поисков вампира, обратившего сестру, а теперь встречается с ним, совмещая полезное (для сестры) с приятным (для себя).

Children Of Iris

All children of Iris have the power to change the colour of any object they touch. Now you can imagine the chaos that followed this discovery. One particularly memorable instance was when a daughter of Iris ran up to Nico Di Angelo and turned his jacket and hair neon pink.

The more powerful children of Iris have the power to control light. With training they’re able to channel a controlled beam of energy that can blast through shields and swords alike.

Like Hazel and Thalia have control over the mist, the children of Iris can also learn to create illusions. This makes them incredibly dangerous on the battlefield, as they can bend light in order to basically disappear before your very eyes.

The Iris Cabin is by far the most accepting group of people at CHB. You like girls? Cool! You like boys? Awesome? You like both? Neither? You aren’t sure yet? They love you for being you. Even more than that, they love you even more for being different. Like the beauty of all the different colours of the rainbow, they know that the world’s true beauty comes from each person’s individual qualities.

Unless you think unicorns are overrated. You people can fuck off.

Children of Iris are obsessed with Skittles and will defend them to the death. Once a first year camper from the Hermes Cabin said he preferred M&Ms over Skittles… He woke up with neon green hair and blue skin.

Older campers from the Iris cabin are often called in to help settle disputes between campers. They’re quite good at a, <Nudges you with elbow,> shedding light on the situation. Eh? Eh? See what I did there?

They are the by far the quirkiest campers at CHB and they know it. They own it.

Some children of Iris are born with golden wings like their mother. This is incredibly rare however, and they often die young because of their inability to blend in.

When Nico and Will became official, the Iris Cabin created a rainbow over the camp that lasted for two weeks.

They idolize Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony. At least three campers claim each day that Rainbow Dash is their spirit animal.

Fashion sense in the Iris Cabin varies. While some of the campers colour-coordinate their outfits perfectly, others prefer to dress like living rainbows. This includes bright blue leg warmers, pink leggings under their jean shorts and highlighter yellow shoes.

The Iris Cabin and the Ares Cabin have been fighting ever since Clarisse called them “prissy rainbow pixies” and Butch responded by snapping her enchanted spear in half.

A Hindu daughter of Iris introduces her cabin to Holi. They all instantly fall in love with the celebration and pledge to go as a group one year. They start saving their money immediately.

The Oracle, Rachel, often invites the younger children of Iris to come paint with her. Not only does she love seeing the way their eyes light up at the different colours and brushstrokes, but she knows it helps them feel more at home.

Inside the Iris cabin is a large fountain which they use to contact their mother. She loves hearing about how they’re doing.

They also have a bad habit of using said fountain to Iris message the other cabins cat videos and Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up.

Two words: Hair. Salon.

They’re all extremely jealous of Percy’s ability to communicate with the horses.

Just like the colours of the rainbow are all different and unique, so are the children of Iris. If you tell a child of Iris they’re unoriginal, they will Fuck. You. Up.

The absolute worst thing you can do to a child of Iris however, worse than telling them they’re normal, is attempt to force them to be so.
