Eleanor and her sisters Eleanor is the youngest and is seen as quite rebellious Soleil is the eldest and my vision for her was based on the Birth of Venus and a Disney Princess, someone who has beauty from a different time or different type of story. She's exceedingly sweet and optimistic and has a fairy-tale romance with her eventual husband. Soleil's untimely death in childbirth is one of the catalysts that changes Eleanor's view of the world for ever. Melodie, since all the family are musically gifted, is an opera singer and I based her on the beauty standards of the time, she's the most "modern" by the standards of their day and she's considered the prettiest sister. She is less niave than Soleil but is still quite used to things going smoothly for her as someone who is both naturally talented and had an idyllic upbringing, as well as the doors opened by being conventionally beautiful to the point that painters approach her on the street to ask her to sit for portraits. Whenever she gives Eleanor advice, it's to the tune of 'just do it! It will go wonderfully'

Let's talk a little about Minou! Tristan "Minou" De Chagney Born: 1671 Sired: 1696 (Age 25) Clan: Toreador Minou is the childhood friend of Eleanor, and was born with a mysterious (at the time) illness, which his parents viewed as some form of curse. I based the clothing on historical research, babies had "nursery clothes" until they were around 7 or 8 which were these non-gendered white dresslike garments. Minou comes from a family of minor nobility that wants to increase their standing. Father: Vicompte Aldéric de Chagney Mother: Aurelia Siblings: Maelle - born 1666 Odette - born 1669 Cerise - born 1679 Felix - born 1684

His family were "keep going until we get an heir" typical of the period, the gap being between when they learned Minou was not going to Get Better and wanted him, essentially, replaced.

Her mother would be rolling in her grave because Ada has become friends with *gasp* poets and bisexuals. I think the vampire thing might also bother her but you know. He's the security expert (read: breaking into stuff) of that branch of the Cam Spec Ops, which is this thing I sat down and wrote out. The VtM books make it seem like there is this big network of spies but never really goes into it, so I had some fun fleshing it out just a bit.

Steven is based on like, part anime-protagonist, part Eddie Munster. and part Evil Ed the sidekick from (the 80s) fright night. He has so many teeth he's like what if Mileena was baby. Jesse is a grunge boy who has intense static feedback in his head most of the time (long story) and is Nancy's little brother. By "little brother" I mean the same serial killer tried to kill them both and that is how they ended up as vampires.
