Dani while traveling unintentionally becomes children’s imaginary friend. For many children all over the world.
Dani’s only knowledge about adults is that they’re untrustworthy:
- Vlad created her and discarded her
- The Fenton parents are ghost hunters, hunting their own son
- G.I.W
- No adults help Team Phantom
- No other hero’s help Team Phantom
So she instinctively just doesn’t let adults see her.
As she travels she obviously does want to visit other hero’s but wouldn’t trust them. She’d follow them invisibly to learn more about them and fighting styles. Following them home she’d see they have kids.
She would want to interact with the kids and learn more about having a superhero as a parent. Young kids have imaginary friends all the time so parents wouldn’t be too concerned.
She would teach the kids all kinds of things and tell story’s from all around the world. All the adventures she’s been on. Maybe even other languages.
Of course she makes friends with many non hero kids, some even villains kids. Villains kids would get a completely different perspective of the world thanks to Dani.
Down the line eventually it would come out that several different kids have seemingly the same imaginary friend. Parents like to share story about their kids. Like oh my child has this imaginary friend a little girl that can fly and phase through walls and stuff haha they are so silly missing so many hero’s powers together.
Or the parents are having a meet up and bring their kids and the kids can all see Dani. Which isn’t normal for others to see your personal imaginary friend. Kids are gremlins when they learn the truth they have fun with it messing with their parents.

Some absolute asshat opens a door to Hell and floods a city with demons. While fighting them, some of the Justice League ask Phantom why he can't just tell them to knock it off, prompting Danny to explain the differences between ghosts and demons, and how Danny has no authority over Hell.
Wonder Woman punched a demon and then lassoed them up. She was having the best time out of everyone fighting demons due to her demigod heritage. “Phantom!” She called. “Why can’t you order these ones around? Are they not denizens of the underworld as well?”
Phantom sighed loudly, dodging a swipe of the claws and then vaporized a demon to bits. He swerved, kicked off the demon that was attached to Batman’s back, and then jumped back into the middle to blast some more. “I can’t! Not my jurisdiction!”
Flash ran next to him, grabbing a demon to throw him back into the open portal and then ran back again. “What does that mean?”
“I’m the God of Death, High King of the Infinite Realms, Ruler of the Ghost Zone! Hell isn’t specifically my jurisdiction to look after! You wouldn’t tell the President to look over a state, right?! And demons aren't the undead! They're just citizens of hell, so I can’t do anything! We have to get someone to banish them back to hell!”
"John's on it!" Zatanna called, using a spell to obliterate several demons around her. "We just have to stall!"
Wonder Woman defended Superman from several demons overwhelming him as she asked again, "Isn't there anything you can do?!"
"I can use my Ghostly Wail! But it'll take out the rest of you guys too!" Phantom responded.
"I'll take care of that! Gniraeh lecnac!" Zatanna said, casting a broad spell over the Justice League. "It's your turn, Phantom!"
Phantom flew over to Canary, where they shared a single nod before unleashing their sonic screams. The Justice League were largely unaffected due to their durability and Zatanna's buff, so they remained standing while the demons were all completely stunned and even blown away from the force of Phantom's and Canary's power.
That was when Constantine jumped in, banishing the demons back to hell.
There was finally peace back again.
Constantine snorted softly, seeing their exhausted states from fighting demons all afternoon. Even Batman looked deflated, subtly leaning against Superman.
"Guess I'm late to the party, huh?"
Phantom threw a rock at his head, which harmlessly bounced off.
"Be faster!!"

Amity Park has been irrevocably changed due to the portal. The town is seeped with ectoplasm. The citizens have become liminal.
Amity Park has gained sentience, gained its own city spirit. Lady Amity, Lady Amy for short. Lady Amy has made sure that the needs of her people are being met.
Liminals need enrichment. So she created a coliseum, named Necrosis Arena. Citizens can fight whenever and whoever, even those from the realms. There is even a monthly tournament, open to all. The winner receives a weapon or something of equal value. In the yearly tournament, however, the winner can get anything they want (within reason) from the Ghost King.
Necrosis Arena has a leaderboard of the top 50 list of all fights. And a dedicated stats board for the top 10.
Talks about the coliseum break containment of Amity Park and reach the ears of the JL/JLD. Several people are sent out to investigate.
When the league gets to the coliseum they see something they never thought they would. There on the leaderboard in the number 5 spot is the name Jason Todd-Wayne - Red Hood, Knight of Lady Gotham. And coming in at number 25 Damian Al Ghul-Wayne - Robin, Knight of Lady Gotham.

Duke, who is tired of being bullied for still having only a few spots checked off on vigilante bingo, decides to get even when family game night includes Never Have I Ever. Danny, who is either a friend or basically adopted family at this point, was invited.
He brings up the fact that he has never died and been brought back to life. Multiple fingers are put down, groans and complaints are made, and then they all turn to Danny when he just stares at the ground.
"If it happened more than once, do I put more fingers down? Or just the one?" he asks. The room falls silent for a few seconds before the flood of questions start.

I keep coming back to the fact that almost no one writes Jack and Maddie as autistic. Nine times out of ten, if their obsession with ghost hunting has a cause, it's that it's a Big Scary Ghost Obsession. Never a special interest, always an Obsession or, even better, they just don't love their kids.
But both of them:
Are oblivious to many social cues and norms
Have very little volume control
Are well-known for infodumping compulsively
Are extremely trusting
And Jack specifically:
Mentions that most clothing makes him itchy
Prefers to express his feelings bluntly
Relies on scripts when struggling with social problems
While Maddie:
Has trouble reading people when she's not specifically trying
Is not a good at deception even when she tries
I'm not saying it's canon, I'm just saying that the restricted and intense nature of their interest doesn't have to be sinister in and of itself.
