if other star trek shows did mpreg episodes tos would do like a mysterious ancient godlike being living in a glowing orb on a dying planet gets spock pregnant so he can be reborn in a new body but spock thru mind melding convinces this being to self abort and he does not carry the baby to term in tng data would install a new mpreg subroutine so he could give birth to lal his beautiful robot baby on ds9 quark tries to fake a pregnancy to extract more money in a complex scheme and it turns out the black market pregnancy faking drugs he bought actually got him pregnant and bashir has to perform the abortion but this blows his entire scheme and has like ten different people he hit up for child support payments mad and ends with him sitting in the brig and odos like well you can always get pregnant again on voyager one of the various crazy gaslighting aliens that kidnap harry for his beautiful body to fuck him to death would just leave him pregnant this time episode gets accidentally weirdly pro life enterprise already has mpreg :)

People were getting sad if their stew had the same 12 carrot chunks in it every time, so you put in a little noise. Not too much noise, though, or one day they might have one giant perfectly spherical chunk of carrot. Or just, way too much salt.

Meanwhile everyone in the Jack Pack is hoarding their favorite patterns like minecraft seeds. Why yes, I do want the same 12 carrot chunks, because I’ve figured out the optimal order to eat them in. Or maybe I enjoy the experience of eating the single spherical carrot like an apple. And it’s all nutritionally calibrated as well, so it’s a win-win, predictable food without all the Weird Digestive Consequences.
