Hosted at a local mutual aid hub, the 2nd Annual WERK for Liberation: A Drag Show for Palestine (2/8/25) raised over $1000 for the One Body Initiative for Gaza and paid $900 to our cast, made up of entirely Black, Indigenous, POC, Disabled, Trans and Queer performers and stage kittens who’ve been outspoken on Palestinian Liberation. We then went to a local Palestinian owned hookah bar for a non-alcoholic afterparty, with plenty of baklava and knafeh!
