I also have a job interview tomorrow. I’m nervous about it, but people around me keep on telling me I’ll be fine. Hahaha.

Who did Armard choose to be the New Divine? I ask to know how much Kieran and Ellyn have to hide thier mage powers.

Honestly... originally.... Cass was Armand's Divine. But I do not have the heart for the pain and suffering for him in that scenario. So I made the Divine Leliana playthrough canon for his world state lol.

I used to like putting my characters through angst and suffering, but I think I've hit that age where I prefer they just be happy hahaha. Regarding hiding their powers, I think Morrigan would have taught them to practice caution if they're in unknown areas. But she wouldn't want them to feel like it's something they need to hide and be ashamed about.

Since you're unable to use paypal, I suggest Ko-fi or Vgen as an alternative way for people to commission you.

Unfortunately, Ko-fi needs paypal or stripe for me to withdraw the money. Stripe currently does not support my country. BUT this is the first time I’ve heard about Vgen! I will check it out! Thank you.

(For anyone who wasn’t following me back in 2013 and curious about the no paypal thing.

My paypal account got limited because of “security concerns”. Paypal practically banned me. My account got hacked, and I think it was used to launder money lol. This was from an age that 2-factor authentication wasn’t a thing yet. And I do acknowledge my account wasn’t that secure. But paypal banned me for life without any chance for appeal. They said I could always make a new account, but there was no certainty that I won’t get flagged from the start. And I’d rather not risk it.)

It’s been such a LOOOOONG time since I’ve player Edric’s playthrough, but I remember choosing Bhelen for his save.

And oof… sorry I wasn’t clear in the comic! They didn’t really go to Orzammar. I’m vague in where they are staying at that moment, but my brain says Orzammar is far, and it would take Edric more than a few days to buy a mirror for Morrigan. So Morrigan just asked him to stay, and they will just go to a nearby marketplace. They probably won’t find a nice golden mirror, but Morrigan doesn’t mind. He gets to buy her a new gift regardless, and he doesn’t need to leave them to get her one.

I think one of the kindest things you can do for people with various mental health struggles is just... let people back into your life after they've been absent for a while.

Making friends as an adult is so fucking hard already and isolating yourself from other people is a very common symptom of depression, anxiety, burnout, ocd, trauma, grief, etc. Which means that someone will do the hard work of recovery/healing and resurface back into a world where their previous friends have written them off because they stopped showing up.

So if you know someone where you're like "yeah we could have been better friends but they fell off the map a bit" and that person suddenly reaches out, or starts showing up to events even though you kind of forgot they were still in the group chat... well they may have been Going Through It and you don't actually have to punish them for their absence you can just be glad that they're back.

Are both kids mages or is Ellyn the mage and Kerian the non-mage?

They’re both mages. Haha. Though Kieran doesn’t really like to use his magic. He doesn’t get the nightmares anymore, but the fear of them coming back sits at the back of his head. So Edric ends up training him on how to use blades, so he could still defend himself without using magic.

Ellyn is a natural. Morrigan had a lot of fun teaching her about magic and how to use it. And Ellyn was even able to pick up shapeshifting. She’s basically a carbon copy of Morrigan who looks a bit more like Edric lol minus the cat energy. (I guess you could say… maybe Ellyn is closer to who Morrigan could have been if Flemeth didn’t raise her in an abusive manner…?)
