one thing I’ve realized while reading this is that Asher’s mind is set. if he cannot change her mind, he might comply to one of her wishes: a happy life for him is a life with her, after all (he can’t live a happy long life if she’s not around, therefore he’ll put a quick end to it- at least it’ll be a happy life). Chris, although understanding what her death will do to him, she can’t feel how miserable it will make him. so he’s pretty much set on putting a facade and say yeah i’ll live when in reality he’s just counting the days to his death as well

she read somewhere today is international kissing day, so! don't mind her as she jumps on him, throws her arms around his neck and kisses him all over his face!

         he wasn’t the giddy type but damn, whenever Chris did things like these he couldn’t help but welcome the childish smile and giggle that would take over his face. Asher wrapped his arms around her, lifting her up and spinning around. a kiss was planted on her forehead and nose. “ so many kisses, what’s the occasion? ”
