sometimes you block every spoiler tag you can conceive of and mute every single character name & ship name to try and avoid spoiling yourself before you can watch the episode but then you stupidly open social media thinking you’re safe and this is the first thing you see and you just know Something Happened

Wait, is Orym's bananas high perception a trauma response to not spotting the assassins that killed his husband coming? Is it literally 'Nobody will ever be able to sneak up on the people I care about like that again?'

Like, in my head, I was going 'oh haha, this is Liam trying to make the perfect counter to someone like Vax, someone who can beat a high level rogue's minimum stealth role,' but like... in character? In character this is a man who has decided he'll never let anyone catch him unawares again.

did cr release a holiday EP? with vocals from the cast? why does youtube auto-generated channels get these tracks before everyone else? is this real or am i hallucinating it at 3:30am?

I also really really love Liam letting Robbie take the lead in the Dorym scene. Like Robbie is the one who initiated it, of course, but Liam as a more experienced player, especially when it comes to tabletop romance, taking a step back and letting Robbie decide how things play out is really lovely.

Also, on an in-universe level, there’s that same kind of interplay between Orym and Dorian; this is, as Dorian laid out during their conversation, Dorian’s first love. He’s new to this! But Dorian is Orym’s second love. He knows this dance, even if the exact steps and music are different this time around. So he’s letting Dorian decide how things play out, letting him figure out the exact shape of what he wants. And that is so wonderful.

Dorian's "I want nothing more" during his confession gets to me because yeah it's him not pushing Orym into anything sexual that neither of them are quite ready for.

But also if you listen to the little bit of longing in his voice. It sounds like "I want nothing more in this life than to hold you. I've wanted to hold you for so long." It feels very akin to his "oh Orym my heart aches that I cannot be there to help you" where you can hear the yearning in his voice. You can hear how much he's wanted to have Orym in his arms. How much he wants Orym in his arms.
