Summer Fun

Oh hey there readers! Assalamualaikum!

Well I hope you've been enjoying your Summer where ever in the Southern Hemisphere that is. Filled with relaxing with family and avoiding as much haraam as possible. 

So it's a new year too! (on the Gregorian calendar) 

Anything exciting planned for the one month of summer left? I know I have a couple. And that is to shed the fat I've accumulated from my winter hibernation and actually become a proper Mu-slim-ah. 

Have you been feeling discouraged whilst watching the tennis? 

I have. For all the wrong reasons. I cannot believe the fickleness of my self-esteem! Those ladies with long toned legs and flat stomachs. And if you look past the whole aura exposure, these ladies are exercising!! EXERCISING. 

So this is what I must do to be fit and healthy. Maybe not rich. But fit and healthy. So much effort and willpower! 

I reckon if you haven't exercised in a while, swimming is the best sport to start! That's where I started! Go to your local pool. Preferably really early so you avoid having to see old men in speedos and other haraam stuff. I envy girls who have pools in their own backyard...

I'm yet to see results on the scale. I should probably lay off the smoothies. I suspect the scale is also broken...

ANYWAY. It's great to be back and hopefully we'll be back soon with some more interesting posts and fun things to talk about.
