I started episode two a few hours ago (I had to replay episode one because I switched devices :,) though that was good for me because I did not remember a couple of things) and I’m very happy to see a lot of things have improved! I think a few things will still do (seeing everbyte’s plans on their episode tracker page for Moonvale) and that is so exciting! I am so excited for the story and the characters!
Just wanted to ramble :p
Also I am free to flirt with anyone and their gender is irrelevant when it comes to tha so heck yes

Little reminder...
No matter how the episode went...
Moonvale is Moonvale. Duskwood is Duskwood.
Two names = two different games.
Two games = two different cases.
Two different cases = two different stories.
Moonvale is not a Duskwood sequel. Moonvale is not Duskwood 2.
Moonvale is a stand alone.
Duskwood is a stand alone.
Yes, we're the same character (if we want)
And yes, Moonvale has the side story.
But Moonvale is still a different game. With different topic.
Thanks for listening.

🚨 We Need Your Kindness to Survive 🚨
Hello, My name is Mosab, and I live in Gaza with my family. Life here has become harder than I ever imagined, and I’m writing this with hope in my heart that you might hear our story.
The ongoing war has devastated my family. We’ve lost 25 family members—each one a beloved part of our lives, taken too soon. I miss them deeply—their laughter, their presence, their love. Every day is a reminder of this unimaginable loss.

We are now facing daily challenges to survive—things that most people take for granted, like food, clean water, and a safe place to sleep. The harsh realities of life here have replaced our dreams with the constant fight for survival.
Our Current Situation:
💔 Lost Stability: The war has left us without work or a stable source of income.
📚 Dreams on Hold: Like so many here, my family’s dreams have been replaced by the need to simply survive.
😢 Unimaginable Loss: Losing 25 loved ones has left a void that can never be filled.
How You Can Help:
I’m sharing our story with the hope that someone out there might care. Even $10 can make a big difference for us, and if you’re unable to donate, just reblogging this post can help spread the word.
Your kindness, no matter how small, is something we’ll never forget.
What This Means to Us:
Your support is not about changing our entire situation—it’s about giving us a little relief, a little hope, and a way to keep going. We are not asking for much, and we understand if you can’t donate. Sharing our story is just as valuable to us as a donation.
Thank you for reading this far. It means the world to us to know that someone is listening. Your kindness gives us strength and helps us believe in a better tomorrow.
With all our gratitude,
Mosab and Family ❤️

A new year under a tent and illness haunts me⛺🎆💔
With every new year🎆, people wish for new dreams and celebrate their hopes🕺. But for me, here in Gaza🍉 New Year's Eve🎆 is just another day in our dilapidated tent⛺💔 that has become my home and my family's since we were displaced ten months ago due to the bombing. We are eight people living in this small tent⛺😞, trying to protect ourselves from the cold that bites our bones and the winds that almost tear off our temporary roof.🥶💔

I am 15 years old, and my suffering is not only from poverty and homelessness, but also from the constant pain that accompanies me due to deformities in my teeth🦷. When I was born🫄, my mother was exposed to inhaling phosphorus gas🧨 during the 2008 war, which caused me to suffer from genetic deformities. My teeth didn't grow normally🦷💔, and I have difficulty eating and even smiling every day.😭🥹
The doctors told me that the only solution is to get dental implants🩺🦷, but it is very expensive💰, and requires traveling outside Gaza. The cost of the operation is about 1000 euros💶 for each tooth🦷, in addition to the cost of travel and accommodation✈️, which is a very large amount for my family who don't even have enough money to secure our basic needs.💰💔
A year has passed and we have been dreaming of a home that will shelter us🏢, and of a treatment that will end my pain💊. I want nothing more than to live like any normal child🧑💼, to smile without fear of other people's looks🥺, and to start a new year without this suffering🥹🎆.
I appeal to all merciful hearts😞 to help me achieve this dream❤️🙏. Every contribution, no matter how small, can be a lifeline for me and my family. Help me overcome my pain and build a better future. 🙏🥹
Every help, even if it's a small amount, means a lot to me and my family.❤️🙏🥹
Happy New Year my friends
I ask you, my friends, to re-share the post.

Hello dear friends,
I am writing to you with a heart full of gratitude and hope. Over the past few weeks, your support has been overwhelming. Together, we’ve raised an incredible €3031 towards our goal of €20,000, and I cannot express how much this means to my family and me. ❤️🌍
Life here in Gaza has always been filled with challenges, but the current circumstances have made it unimaginably difficult. As some of you know, my family has endured unimaginable losses – 25 of my loved ones were taken by the violence. 💔 Their memory is my driving force to keep moving forward, to survive, and to share our story with the world.

Your generosity – through donations, reblogs, and kind words – has shown me that even in the darkest times, there is light. ✨ Every euro donated, every reblog shared, every message of encouragement has made an impact. You’ve helped us cover basic necessities, keep our spirits alive, and dream of a safer future.
🛠️ How You Can Help:
💶 Donate – No matter how small, every euro helps. 👉 https://gofund.me/5ac9124f

To everyone who has already supported us: Thank you from the depths of my heart. ❤️ Your kindness gives me hope and strength to face each day. You are not just helping my family survive; you are reminding us that we are not alone in this fight.
Together, we can reach the goal of €20,000, and with your help, we will. Please keep sharing, keep donating, and keep believing in the power of compassion. 🌈💖

Hot take but I really do think that some of y’all need to consider how/why/when/how often you’re making fun of straight people for being straight
I do it too, I’m not going to pretend I don’t make jokes about the hets, or the down with cis bus, or whatever
But I recently befriended a cis, straight dude and I have watched him be dismissed, degraded, and unambiguously insulted for the perceived “crime” of being straight — all in queer environments where he is allegedly “completely welcome” and surrounded by “friends”
This guy is not a toxic person! But I have seen him be made to feel so small and like his comfort and safety in those spaces are conditional on his silence and acceptance of being treated like a human dunk zone, and I think that some of y’all have had so much shit from straight/cis people that the second you feel like you’ve got an inch, you want to luxuriate in the perceived catharsis of bullying someone who— actually —doesn’t deserve it
And until he very, very carefully mentioned to me in private that it makes him feel bad, I didn’t even clock that I was involved in doing that, that it had become so instinctive for me to make casual jokes like that, and that— well meaning or otherwise —I had been contributing to an environment that made someone I really really like feel like shit
So, I dunno, I think maybe some of y’all should think about that too

URGENT: HELP SAVE THE LIFE OF MY CHILD

I'm Amal, a mother of three children, living under the weight of the genocide taking place in Gaza. 🍉
The Israeli occupation forces launched drone strikes on my husband, Fayez, and my son, Mohammad.
my husband was hit in the head, while my son Mohammad was wounded in his legs.
Although my husband's condition has stabilized, my son is still suffering immensely and urgently needs medical treatment outside Gaza.
So I started a fundraising campaign to save my son before he dies.
Ddonate Via Paypal 👇
I lost most of my family. I'm afraid to lose my son too 🥺 .
I need your help please donate and share, evry contribution, no matter how small, brings us hope in these dark times.
Mohammed deserves to live a happy and healthy life, just like every other child on this earth.
So I humbly ask you to donate even a little or at least reblog this appeal.

People don't realize how liminal it is to be a time traveler. How you don't ever really feel like you're in the time you are. Even when you're in your own time, everything is off, your coat was something you bought in interwar France, the book you're reading on the train is from a bookstore you had to visit in Victorian London, even your necklace was given to you by a Neolithic shaman, from a culture the rest of the world can never know. You find yourself acting strange even when in the present, much less in the past you have to work in.
You remember meeting a eunuch in 10th century China, and having him be one of the only people smart and observant enough to realize you were from a diffrent time. You could talk honestly with him, though still you couldn't reveal too much about your time. And it was still so strange hearing him talk casually about work and mention plotting assassinations. You're not allowed to but you still visit him sometimes.
You remember that the few times you were allowed to tell someone everything it was tragic. You knew a young woman who lived in Pompeii, who you had gotten close to, a few days before she would inevitably die. On your last day there you looked into her eyes, knowing soon they'd be stone and ash, that the beauty of her hair would be washed away by burning magma. And you hugged her, and told her that you wanted her to be safe, and told her she was wonderful and that you wanted her to be comfortable and happy. And you let her tongue know the joy of 21st century chocolate, and her eyes see the beauty of animation, knowing she deserved to have those joys, knowing it wouldn't matter soon. And you hugged her the last time, and told her she deserved happiness. And when you left without taking her it was like you were killing her yourself.
You want to take home everyone you're attached to. There's a college student you befriended in eighteen fifties Boston. And you can't help but see him try to solve problems you know humanity is centuries away from solving. And you just want to tell him. And it's not just that, the way he talked about the books and plays he likes, his sense of humor. There's so many people you want him to meet.
You feel the same way about a young woman you met on a viking age longship. She tells stories to her fellow warriors and traders, stories that will never fully get written down, stories that she tells so uniquely and so well. She has so many great ideas. You want so dearly to take her to somewhere she can share her stories, or where she can take classes with other writers, where she can be somewhere safe instead of being out at sea. She'll talk about wanting to be able to do something, or meet people, and you know you're so close to being able to take her, but you never can, unless she accidently finds out way too much then you can't.
You remember the longship that you met that young storyteller on. You were there before, two years ago for you, ten years later for the people on it. The young woman who told you stories wasn't there ten years later, you had been told why then but you only realize now, her uncle, who ran the ship, had been one of the first people to convert to Christianity in his nation. He killed her, either for not converting or for sleeping with women, you're not sure, but he killed her, and bragged about it when you met him ten years later.
You talk to the storyteller on the longship, ask her about the myths you're there to ask her about, the myths that she loves to tell. You look into her eyes knowing it's probably less then a year until her uncle takes her life. You ask her if you think that those who die of murder go to Valhalla. She tells you she hopes not, she doesn't see Valhalla as a gift but as a duty, she hopes for herself to go to Hel, where she wouldn't have to fight anymore. You slip and admit you're talking about her, telling her that you hope that's where she goes when she's killed. You hope to yourself you'll be forced to take her to the twenty first century, you're tempted even to make it worse, you want to have ruined her enough to be able to save her.

Hello 👋
Please take a moment to read my story.
I am Heba Al-Dahdouh. I currently live in the completely destroyed city of Gaza. Since the war on Gaza began on 7/1/2024, my family- my father Nasif, my mother Asmaa, and my siblings Khaled, Ahmad, Muhammad, and Malak-have been living in constant fear, crying, and suffering due to shrapnel, shells, and bullets.

We have no food, no electricity, no cooking gas, no schools, no homes, no cleaning supplies, and no clothes. Our house was completely destroyed. My school has been bombed, and my brother Khaled's university is now rubble, depriving us all of education. The war has forced us to live in displacement centers, which are just tents unsuitable for living, especially in winter.

Every day we live death, terror, and panic a thousand times because of the ongoing bombardment of my city. The war has killed more than 50 of my relatives and neighbors. At the start of the war, we sought refuge at my aunt's house, but it too became rubble. Imagine: we have survived imminent death more than 20 times and have been displaced among shelters more than 13 times. My siblings and I have suffered from many illnesses due to malnutrition, and we need medication continuously.

If we stay in Gaza, we might lose our lives. Recently, we have been seriously considering leaving Gaza for a safe place. However, travel costs are extremely high. We need over $50,000 to leave Gaza. Due to exorbitant prices, rampant unemployment, lack of security, the ongoing siege, and relentless bombardment, we have lost all our money. How can we live in such insecurity, with constant shelling and shrapnel flying above us? Dear compassionate friends around the world,
With your generous donations, even if small, you can save 7 people from imminent death, allowing us to start a life outside Gaza filled with love, peace, and hope.
With my warmest regards from the city of Gaza,
Heba Al-Dahdouh.
