How to sleep through the pain?
You may suffer from chronic pain, which is always more pronounced at night, and no matter how much you try to distract yourself, you can't avoid the constant frustration and helplessness that brings on insomnia. But you're definitely not alone. The good news is that you can start doing so by picking out some things to pay attention to your breathing, the sounds around you, or even tasks like making your bed. It may only take small changes to help you with this problem and help you get better sleep.
1 Ice the painful areas before bed
Ice packs help reduce inflammation and relieve pain. Before going to bed, cover the painful area with a cotton cable knit blanket, then use an ice pack to gently press the painful area for 10-20 minutes. Do not put ice directly on the skin, which will directly stimulate the brain awake, or worse, cause frostbite.
2 Sleep in a dark, quiet room
Light is an important stimulus that hinders sleep and can lead to waking up in the middle of sleep, seriously affecting sleep. However, too dark an environment can also cause sleepers to be nervous. The most appropriate brightness is to set the lighting to the lowest possible brightness. Unless the outdoor light is too harsh at night, it is best for the bedroom curtains to let in a little light. This exposure to sunlight in the morning before and after waking up is more likely to help reset the biological clock and create a normal sleep rhythm.
What is more, don't watch TV, play on your phone or use your laptop in bed, as these activities will make it harder for you to fall asleep. Stop using all electronic devices at least 30 minutes before bedtime.
3 Do some relaxing exercises in bed Doing so will help distract you from the pain. For example, you can try deep breathing or meditation, imagine yourself in a peaceful and calm place and then try to visualize all the scenery around you. Give yourself some time to relax before bedtime, such as doing open-chest exercises, an action that corrects poor posture and releases the stress of the day.
4 Replace the old mattress and pillow
The new mattress is more supportive and helps reduce pain. A white body pillow can become flat after a long period of sleep and should be replaced about once a year.
If you have neck, shoulder, or back pain, a memory foam mattress and a new pillow with enough support is your inevitable choice.
5 Change the sleeping position
Back pain hair people try lying on their backs to see if this position works for you. Sleeping on your back may help relieve back pain and allow you to rest better at night.
Sleeping on your side is more friendly to neck pain. Sleeping on your back may increase the pressure on your neck, leading to increased pain. Try sleeping on whatever side makes you feel comfortable. Feel free to try various sleeping positions to see which one is most comfortable.
Note: People with neck pain should never sleep on their backs, putting a greater burden on the spine.
6 Sleep with pets together
Sleeping with cats and dogs can help reduce pain-induced anxiety. Get the family fur child into bed to snuggle with you to help you relax and distract from the pain. Pet the family dog or cat, or enjoy their company and love, and let yourself drift off to sleep.
Chronic pain sufferers often feel very lonely due to a lack of social activities, and the companionship of a pet can help alleviate these negative emotions. If your pet doesn't jump into bed on their own, you can move their mattress or blanket to your bed, or place it on the floor next to your bed so they can at least sleep next to you.
Note: This means you will need to change your three-piece set more often, especially the velvet duvet cover set which is prone to sticky hair.
7 Read a book when you wake up
If you wake up in the middle of the night with pain, reading a book can help you get sleepy and fall asleep again. Get up and go to a quiet room. Read your favorite book until you feel sleepy again, then go back to bed and lie down.
8 Walk at night
Walking helps to relieve pain and improve sleep. Take a walk in a nearby park in the evening to stretch and exercise your muscles, but also to temporarily raise your body temperature. This will trigger your natural sleep cycle when your body temperature drops toward normal again. This is especially useful for those who work long hours in sedentary offices and those who don't get enough exercise and experience physical pain.
Sometimes you may feel like you are in a mental battle with pain and you just want to get it over with and get rid of it. This is completely understandable. I hope some of the suggestions above have been helpful to you. If none of the above relieves your pain, seek medical help as soon as possible and follow your doctor's instructions; we all need a normal, healthy night's sleep.

How to eliminate the odor of the comforter?
Spring is here and it's time to get your infrequently used quilts out and ready for spring.
A comforter that has been closed for a long time always has some damp and moldy feeling, so how to eliminate the odor of the comforter?
1、Down comforter
The down comforter is the lightest comforter, and there are three ways to remove its odor.
When there is enough sunshine, you can take the duvet out for a while, but the time should not be too long.
Hang it outside in a cool, ventilated place for 2-3 days, then pat it evenly to eliminate the unpleasant odor.
Spray lemon water on the duvet and leave it out in the shade overnight to dry, this will remove the smell from the duvet. Remember, it is better to use spray, not sprinkle, and to spray evenly
2、Down Alternative Comforter
The general down alternative comforter is actually made of chemical fiber. Fiber comforter is the most common comforter. It does not need special maintenance, but it is recommended to often sunbathe to achieve the effect of antibacterial and dehumidification. Water washing and machine washing are both available, and a neutral detergent or soap powder can be used to wash and dehydrate with the weak spin of the washing machine.
3、Cotton quilts
Cotton quilts are the most natural and healthy quilts for people who are prone to allergies. But it is also because of its natural, cotton quilt is not only beautiful, but also easy to attract moths and mold, and is also the easiest to absorb moisture. So cotton quilts, need to remove the odor often.
Method
After the sun, put a few small bags of desiccant in the folded quilt, and then put a few pieces of soap, and the odor will disappear after a few days.
Note: desiccant and soap do not pile up together, layer by layer, three or four pieces of soap will do, and do not affect the repeated use.
4、Silk quilt
Silk is rich in protein, soft and skin-friendly, but also not easy to produce mites, so silk is the first choice for women who love beauty at home. But the silk quilt will also warm up after a period of time, generally open ventilation, the odor will disappear in one to two weeks.
But the effect will be better in the sun because the temperature will accelerate the replacement of air in the stomata. Like the silk pillowcase, cannot be exposed to the sun.
5、Wool quilt
Wool quilts are the most intimate quilts. If the smell of wool appears, you can spray alcohol evenly on the wool, sprinkle a small amount of yellow rice on the wool and pump it gently, or brush it along with a soft bristle brush 1-2 times.
On the other hand, it is best not to wash the wool quilt with water. Or just leave it out in the sun for half an hour, but don't expose it to the sun. When drying, put on a duvet cover to avoid damage to the wool fibers from the hot sun.
Drying suggestions
1、Sunny day
Sunny days are best for drying quilts so that you can feel comfortable with a warm quilt.
2、Drying time
The morning is cooler is not suitable for drying quilts, 4 or 5 o'clock in the afternoon moisture slowly out, easy to make the quilt back to moisture is also not suitable, from 11 am onwards the best sun, two hours in the summer sun is enough, winter is to be more than 1 hour.
3、Turn the sun
Sun quilt is generally first inside the sun, try to do both warmth and sterilization, and then turn the sun after one and a half hours.
4、The cycle of sunbathing quilts
The quilt is generally best to sunbathe once a month, at least once every 3 months, the quilt will breed many mites over time, and people with sensitive skin will get red bumps, which is not good for health.
5、Change the season to dry the quilt
The quilt is stored in the cabinet for a long time and will inevitably be stained with some chemicals such as formaldehyde in the furniture, so be sure to sunbathe before covering it, and then cover it with confidence.
6、Can't pat the quilt
Many people like to pat the quilt in the sun when the quilt, think that this can remove the dust in the quilt, will be more fluffy, in fact, it is not, cotton fiber thick and short and fragile, pat the quilt will make the cotton fiber break into cotton dust run out, if the quilt fell on the dust, you can brush it with a brush.

How often should I flip my mattress?
Many people don't realize that flipping or rotating a mattress can significantly extend its lifespan. While the life of a mattress is fundamentally determined by its quality, how you care for your mattress is also critical.
A good rule of thumb is that it is best to flip or rotate your mattress about once every six months.
If your mattress has been used for a long time and is showing wear and tear, then they need to be reversed more frequently, such as every three months. If you take good care of your mattress from the start, it can last most of 10 years.
It is smart to flip the mattress to use it, we sleep with different pressure on each place of the mattress due to the human body structure, and by flipping them often they will not constantly apply pressure to the same location, thus wearing it out. This is especially true for people who weigh more than average. You can distribute your weight evenly over the mattress, keeping it in good condition for a longer period of time.
In different cases, we generally choose to reverse or rotate the mattress.
Flipping a mattress means turning it over so that the side that rests directly on the bed frame is now facing up.
Rotating involves turning it 180 degrees so that the side where your head would normally be is now where your feet are.
Many people prefer to rotate the mattress to save effort and not have to change fitted sheet. But why not take advantage of a major bedroom cleanup and change all your microfiber duvet cover set? Many bedding options are available. Striped duvet cover set, and cow pattern duvet cover set are both very versatile choices.
How often you should flip the mattress, or if you should flip it at all, depends a lot on the type of mattress in question.
For example, a bunk mattress will not feel the same when its back is flipped, so only rotate it. On the other hand, built-in spring mattresses are designed to be flipped and rotated.
Finally, please be concerned about your health. Flipping or rotating a heavy mattress isn't always an easy task, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be done. Have someone else help you move it so you don't hurt your back or injure yourself. If you want to flip it yourself, make sure you're in good physical condition.
Finally, remember to keep an eye on your health. Reversing or rotating a heavy mattress is not an easy task, but that doesn't mean you don't need to do it. Ask for help and a few people to work together to rotate or flip them so you don't hurt your back, and if you want to flip it yourself, make sure you're in good physical condition.

What determines the warmth of the quilt?
Does a quilt have to be heavy?
A comforter insulates you from the cold outside by holding air, so the warmth of a comforter is related to the ability of the filling to store air and has little to do with the weight of the comforter.
Choosing the best filling for you
You are faced with only two choices: natural fillings or synthetic fillings
The 'breathing performance' of the quilt: A quilt that breathes well can help you suck up the moisture produced by your body and exhaust it out of the quilt, preserving it for a night's sleep, so it is a very important indicator.
Duvets are usually made from synthetic (micro-gel) or natural (such as bamboo, duck or goose down) fill. The challenge with synthetic duvets is that they are usually not as warm as duvets made from down materials, so to get the same level of warmth as down, you may need to use a relatively heavy duvet.
When it comes to natural fillings, bamboo is an excellent insulator and can effectively wick away moisture. So if you're a warm sleeper who wants to stay dry and cool, this is a good choice. Again, duck down happens to provide a lightweight and cool-down fill power, which makes it a smart choice for warm sleepers.
On the other hand, goose down is larger and more insulating than duck down. This makes it a great choice for cooler sleepers who want a warmer down fill power.
Considering that, ideally, you spend a third of your day in bed, choose the right bedding A comfortable night's rest is essential to your health and well-being. Of course, you also want your bed to look beautiful. Fortunately, as bedspreads go, the duvet is there.
An important consideration in choosing a down comforter is how warm it will keep you at night. Here are the factors that determine the warmth of a duvet, from the filling material to the down filling power and type of duvet material.
With a bamboo and Egyptian cotton duvet set, you should find yourself waking up in the morning feeling cool and dry. Conversely, with lesser quality traditional cotton, you may find yourself overheating during the night.
Looking for a high-quality duvet with a wide range of down-fill power and material options? We've got you and your bed covered. Check out our bedding and start creating the nighttime retreat of your dreams this year.

Why do pillows turn brown over time?
After using the same pillow for a long time, they tend to take on a mysterious brown color, which for some people is often yellow. This change in color begs the question, what happened to the clean white color of the pillows you bought long ago?
Let's take a look at why pillows turn brown over time. What causes it and can it be prevented?
Sweating
It's perfectly reasonable to sweat while we sleep, and we don't realize it. Many people sweat excessively due to certain medical conditions, but in general, this is the body's way of regulating its temperature. However, over time, sweat and body oils soak into the pillow. And as the sweat dries, it can change the color of the pillow due to the presence of a substance called urea in the sweat.
If you sleep easily sweating, you can choose a satin pillowcase, the cool feeling effectively reduce sweating, effective protection for your cotton down alternative pillow.
Drooling in bed
Drooling is one of the biggest causes of pillow discoloration. If you examine your pillow closely, you will be able to identify dried stains from drool. These stains look like brown spots, and if you've drooled excessively, you'll find them everywhere.
Wet hair
Many people are in the habit of showering before going to bed; however, wet pillows can cause moisture to seep into your skin, leading to eventual discoloration. The moisture will draw in all the dirt and dust from your pillow, leading to permanent brown stains.
Beauty product residue
Most women and men have nighttime skincare routines that include moisturizers, lotions, or toners, and these products always leave a residue on the pillow. Some women have a habit of jumping right into bed after a long night out without removing their makeup. Naturally, the pillow absorbs all of the foundation, bronzer, and highlighter, causing discoloration.
Even if you can't stop these regular habits, you can give your pillows a light wash after five or six months. Purchasing soft pillowcases that can be changed and washed regularly is another good strategy.

How to decorate a comfortable bedroom with rustic sheets, decorations?
The true essence of rustic design is to capture the comfort of home in all the spaces it inhabits, always in the unobtrusive details, such as romantic dried flowers on a cabinet.
Consider a few tips to turn your sleeping space into a warm and cozy sanctuary.
1. Choose a rustic palette in modern decor and use reclaimed wood Reclaimed wood is not only eco-friendly, but it's also soft and gentle, which is a key component of every rustic design.
Get creative. You can use reclaimed wood anywhere: furniture, ceilings, wall panels, wood fans, flooring, bed frames, trim, and more. Look for woods and bedding that complement your rustic linens for a cohesive look.
2. Use soft, natural earth tones
Natural colors are best suited for a nature-inspired rustic bedroom theme, and it makes total sense. Bright jewel tones evoke a sense of glamour, indulgence, and vibrancy - none of which are appropriate for the calming environment of a rustic bedroom.
A modern rustic palette should use muted tones found in nature, such as browns, light blues, light greens, and soft amber colors. This doesn't mean rustic should be bland! Add pops of color using elements such as floral patterns and bright ombre ferns.
3. Choose high quality fitted sheets
If there's one area you should invest in for bedroom comfort, it's high-quality linens. The warm and cozy feeling that rustic style evokes should always be accompanied by the softness and comfort you can feel. Choosing washed cotton flat sheets is perfect. Washed cotton has a unique languid comfort that adds a casual, natural feel to your bedroom with its ruffled feel compared to the luxurious luster of silk and satin pillowcases.
4. Add a brick fireplace
A fireplace is a cozy, beautiful feature that can bring a laid-back, rustic feel to any modern bedroom. If your bedroom has plenty of space and your budget allows, consider adding a classic or faux electric fireplace as the central feature of your rustic bedroom.
There is no substitute for the warmth and comfort that a fireplace exudes, and the unit really adds wonder to your rustic design. It's also a great way to keep warm in the winter.
We hope you are inspired to incorporate more rustic elements into your bedroom. To find the best quality washed cotton sheets, duvet covers, visit NTBAY.

Pros and Cons of Different Bedding Fabrics.
Buying new sheets or other bedding is a pleasure and one of the fastest and easiest ways to give your bedroom a new look. We spend at least a third of this life in bed, and quilts are an essential part of our lives, as are sheet covers, but it can be a bit confusing. There are a wide variety of fabrics, so what materials are available? What problems do we need to pay attention to when buying and selling?
The most common is cotton, the lightweight, fabric is very thin and breathable, this fabric bed sheet covers are more popular among consumers, cotton fabric market sales of bedding is mostly cotton, cotton is cheaper, with moisture absorption, skin-friendly features. Therefore, it is the majority of people's bedding priority. Cotton material and manufacturing technology are different, and the difference between cotton and cotton is also very large in the winter when the skin is dryer will not be static electricity, suitable for all seasons.
Velvet duvet cover set is most suitable for winter, it will itself with a short fleece, lying on it is very comfortable, and it gives us the feeling is very warm, its moisture absorption is still relatively strong, winter moisture is relatively large, it will be the bed moisture adsorption off. Velvet has a unique preparation method so there will be no hair loss phenomenon, in the cleaning will not have the phenomenon of deformation, with a long time will be like a new one.
Tribute fabric, also known as satin fabric, is a more complex kind. In the weaving process, the warp and weft yarns are interlaced to form the pattern. Tribute fabric features soft and delicate texture, smooth and even surface, lustrous, looks like satin, more comfortable, the softest feel, wear resistance.
Linen material Linen is the earliest natural plant fiber used by mankind, more than 10,000 years of history. Linen has perspiration, good breathability, is harmless to the human body and other significant features, is the preferred option for spring and summer bedding.
Silk is cooked silk cocoon when the secretion of silk liquid solidified continuous long fiber, also known as "natural silk", some called silk cotton, of course, the price of this material is also higher. 100% Mulberry silk duvet cover set is also very popular in recent years, but the price is a little expensive, the color is very beautiful, luxurious and noble, more suitable for European-style decoration, silk feels very soft, but after washing there will be a little bit of shrinkage, not very serious.
Silk is very wear-resistant, not easy to pilling and will not lose color, silk characteristics are cool for people to use in the summer, it will drive away from the heat for us to bring cool, a silk-smooth touch less friction with the skin, also less wrinkle formation, so women are more willing to invest in a high-quality silk three-piece set, silk worth!
Microfiber material is a very large number of chemical fiber clothing materials used in daily life. Hypoallergenic, machine wash safe, wrinkle-free. Anti-fading, no slippage, very suitable for daily use. However, in summer, the moisture absorption is not as good as silk, there is a sense of stuffiness, winter warmth is not as good as a flannel duvet cover, easy to bring static electricity, affecting the comfort.
Sleep issues are increasingly important, sleep quality health issues need to be considered, and comfortable fabric bedding plays an important role in sleep, the choice must be considered a little more comprehensive.

How to get your baby to sleep well?
I believe that sleep is one of the most important factors in creating a happy and thriving child. Research has proven that children who sleep well have a better attention span, patience, memory, behavior, learning ability, and physical and mental health.
Establishing good sleep patterns in the first year is one of the best life skills you can provide for your baby. You'll also enjoy your parenting journey more and have a happy, content baby!
How do you make sure they get a good night's sleep?
A safe space to sleep is of the utmost importance. Make sure there are no toys or teddy bears in your baby's crib or sleep basket. Always put your baby to sleep on their back, put their feet under the bed so they can't squirm under any covers, and remember to tuck a cable knit blanket under the mattress so they don't get loose.
Having a relaxed routine means your baby gets plenty of sleep, plenty of food, and lots of cuddle time - so you can plan your day and get out to see people. The routine isn't rigid and doesn't tie you to the house or limit the number of cuddles you can have with your baby. Without a proper routine, babies can easily develop bad habits, and parents can easily become overwhelmed with endless sleep and feeding routines.
Good sleep patterns have huge benefits for everyone, and getting into a good routine from day one will encourage this. I want everyone to enjoy their children, and sleep-deprived parents don't enjoy their first year as much as they should. Whether breastfeeding or bottle-feeding, I start each newborn on a routine of every three hours. Your baby will nurse eight times every 24 hours, wake up for about 1.5 hours, and then sleep for 1.5 hours, day and night.
To make sure your baby maintains high blood sugar levels, gains weight, and starts eating, set an alarm clock and wake them up every three hours on a cycle if you haven't already.
In the first few weeks, by waking your baby to eat, they will learn that they don't need to cry for food. This really helps when your baby is able to sleep longer throughout the night because they will relax and fall into a deep sleep because they know you won't make them too hungry! Another reason to wake your baby up is that they are naturally nocturnal - so we have to make sure they have enough awake time during the day so they don't wake up throughout the night!
If your routine doesn't go exactly as planned, don't worry. Babies are not robots, so sometimes they get hungry a little earlier or want to go to bed a little earlier. However, if you have a routine to follow, you can let them sleep in a little longer or let them sleep for a few more minutes, and then you'll be back on track. My golden rules for making sure your baby sleeps well.
1 Your baby's nights will mirror their days. Follow some routines so your baby doesn't sleep all day and then party all nigh
2 Fresh air. I like to let my babies nap outside of their stroller and I find that the fresh air each day really helps them sleep better.
3 Consistent bedtime. Giving your baby a bath at night before feeding helps them to increase their appetite and enjoy some stimulating waking hours before bedtime.
4 Don't overexert them. Babies have a stress response to fatigue. Their brains think there must be a reason they need to stay awake and therefore release the hormone cortisol, which has a stimulating arousal effect. This makes it harder for infants to fall asleep, leading to sleepless nights and tricky naptime.
5 Eat a full tummy! Babies sleep better when they have a full tummy, so focus on feeding throughout the day.
6 Put your baby down when they are awake. This ensures that they know where they are when they stir during the lighter sleep cycles. If they fall asleep on you and then fall back asleep, they will panic and wake up crying when they realize they are in a different place.
If it doesn't always go according to plan, don't worry! While everyone has their own choices, I discourage co-sleeping with infants. I think it's dangerous, especially if you're sleep-deprived and exhausted in the first few months. Babies will sleep better if they have their own undisturbed space from the beginning.
Remember to treat your baby fairly. I found it difficult when I was asked to sleep train young children who had been allowed to sleep in their parents' bed from birth because they were now older and taking up too much space, or had a new baby on the way. That's what your child knows, and it can be traumatic to separate them from your bed when they're not doing anything wrong. It's hard for them to understand why it was fine before, but not anymore. It is far better to let your baby sleep in their own bed every night. That way, their bed is a good place to be, not a punishment.
So, picking a soft toddler sheet set is very necessary, they make your baby sleep better and no outside factors should interfere with your baby's sleep!

How to understand your baby's sleep cycle?
Learn to understand your baby's sleep cycle. Don't assume that if your baby wakes up after a nap, they're sleeping well. Understanding your baby's sleep cycle will help you assess the quality of their sleep. Learning to be a good sleeper takes time, patience, a continuous routine, and happy space to sleep. None of us go into a deep sleep and sleep like that all night. We all sleep in cycles. When we fall asleep, we go into light sleep, then deep sleep, then deep sleep, then deep sleep, then light sleep. The light sleep stage is called REM (rapid eye movement), and this is when we dream. This is also when we are more likely to wake up. During REM sleep, you may see your baby's eyelids moving or fluttering.
Sometimes you can play the trumpet and a sleeping baby won't move, and sometimes opening their bedroom door will wake them up. This is because they are in deep sleep or rapid eye movement sleep. The full sleep cycle for babies is about 40 minutes, but as we move from childhood to adulthood, this cycle gets longer. If your child is disturbed by noise, feels cold, hungry, wakes up in a different place than where they fell asleep or feels insecure, then they will wake up in REM sleep. This is why it is so important for babies to eat well and for children to eat well during the day. It's also why I swaddle my babies at night and hold them in my arms, and why I don't always carry them to bed. It's also important for babies and children to have a dark, quiet space to enjoy sleep.
Swaddling - I believe that if newborns are swaddled every time they sleep, they can sleep for an extra hour in the first few months. They love the security of swaddling and will adjust more quickly because it mimics the feeling of the cramped space they were in when they first emerged from the womb. Babies have a natural startle reflex at birth. This means that when they are disturbed by noise or the sensation of falling, they will jerk their arms and legs out. If your baby is swaddled, they will be quiet because the movements are minimal, whereas if they are not swaddled, they tend to punch themselves in the face and start writhing until they wake up because they need comfort. I've also seen babies who are swaddled every time they sleep learn to know that swaddling means it's time to sleep, and by three months old, you'll see them turn their heads and snuggle into sleep before you put the swaddle on.
Blankets - In the winter, cover your baby with a blanket to keep them warm and safe. I can't sleep without a blanket, and babies are no exception. Babies are small and they prefer soft, lightweight muslin cotton baby blankets, and most of us choose weighted cable knitted sherpa blankets for ourselves to increase sleep security and sleep better
Blackout blinds - Keep your baby's bedroom dark to prevent them from being woken up by early birds, and if your baby senses a change in light, they will struggle to wake up from their sleep!
While dummies can help babies who cry but don't sleep, they often cause other problems. When babies go through lighter sleep cycles, they will cry and wake up if the dummy falls out of their mouths. You end up going to them just to put the dummy back down. I prefer to put them down for a few minutes to cry and then sleep more soundly and peacefully throughout the night.

How to select a blanket in terms of material and weaves?
When the temperature drops at night, reach for a blanket to provide an extra layer of cozy warmth to your bed. The blanket is often ignored- it's your most common satin pillowcase or popular black duvet cover set that serves as the star of the bed while your sheets provide the soft caress your skin craves, but it's the blanket, sandwiched between the two, that creates an extra pocket of air to keep you warm.
📷
When it comes to buying a blanket, you may think there's not much to do with it-just choose your favorite color and the right size for your mattress. While choosing the right blanket is fairly simple, there's more to it than that.
Choosing the right fabric
This is where it gets a little tricky. There are many common blanket fabrics - each has benefits, so choose the one that best suits your needs.
Cotton: Cotton cable knit blanket stand up to repeated washing and are ideal for allergy sufferers. Depending on how it's woven, cotton can be light enough to use as a summer blanket or heavy enough for winter warmth. For those who prefer a greener lifestyle, there are even organic cotton blankets.
Wool: Wool is heavy, warm, and provides excellent insulation while allowing moisture to evaporate. If you want a very heavy, warm blanket, this is a good choice, but some people are allergic to wool.
Down: Similar to a duvet, but thinner and lighter, down blankets have a layer of down or a synthetic alternative sandwiched between layers of fabric. These blankets are light but very warm. If you are allergic to feathers, be sure to choose a synthetic alternative.
Cashmere: Luxuriously soft cashmere blankets are warm and silky, but also very expensive.
Synthetic fibers: There are many different synthetic fibers used in blankets: acrylic, polyester, and microfiber are common. Synthetic blankets are warm, but usually attract a lot of static electricity and tend to cling to hair, dust, and lose threads. Cheap synthetics are also prone to pilling and fraying. On the plus side, these blankets are usually very inexpensive.
Fleece: Comfortable, extra warm, but not too heavy fleece and superfine fleece blankets are especially popular with children. Fleece fabrics excel at wicking away moisture - another benefit when used in children's beds.
In addition to different fabrics, blankets are also available in different weaves that provide different levels of warmth and weight. The higher the blanket gram weight, the thicker the blanket will be. Winter blankets with a gram weight below 300g are a bit thin to the touch. The first feeling of the blanket is that it is soft, warm, thick, smooth, and plump. The main reason why it has such a feel is still related to the raw material and process.
Heat: Often found in cotton blankets, heat is woven loosely to allow for easy air circulation. These lightweight blankets are perfect for summer use.
Knit: Cozy knit blankets are heavy and warm. You will usually find them made of wool or synthetic materials.
Quilted: Down blankets are often quilted to keep down or down alternatives from moving around inside the blanket.
Traditional: Typical blankets are very tightly woven, creating excellent insulation for body heat.

Some of the clutter you don't need in your bedroom.
If you're like most people, you probably have at least one or two of the following items in your bedroom. You may even have all of them, and there's no shame in that; possessions tend to accumulate on their own. You may plan to get rid of them "one of these days," or you may have put their existence behind you. But it's hard to relax and get a good night's sleep in a room full of clutter. Why not have fun and get rid of these items today?
Plush toys are a popular way of life for many people, especially children, to have lots of stuffed animals in their beds. Plush toys hate to place the whole room! But then, know that plush toys are very easy to accumulate dust, breeding bacteria. If you want to put, pick one or two, and then wash often, and in the sun. Due to the material of plush toys, long-term close contact will affect the respiratory tract, especially the fragile respiratory tract of children, so we still need to pay more attention to
Too soft cushion
Usually, before going to bed we will be leaning on the side of the bed to read a book or play a game, straight hooked sitting is very uncomfortable, generally in the lumbar back cushion a pillow, many people buy cushions one of the criteria is soft, but this soft cushion will make the waist and shoulders are not supported, long-term will lead to cervical spondylosis or cervical deformation.
Green plants
Green plants are respiratory at night. This time is not the release of oxygen, but the release of carbon dioxide, coupled with the confined space of the bedroom, air circulation, plants and we compete for oxygen, will lead to long-term oxygen deprivation, causing persistent fatigue, affecting our sleep quality, so it is not recommended to put plants in the bedroom.
Uncomfortable shoes
Life is too short to wear uncomfortable shoes. Heels that leave your toes begging for mercy, worn-out running shoes, sandals that rub blisters on your heels ...... It's time to get rid of any shoes that are injured, worn, soiled, or damaged beyond repair, or that simply no longer fit your lifestyle. Your feet will thank you for it.
Outdated accessories
Left to their own devices, accessories seem to multiply and divide indefinitely. But there are limits to how many rings you need, or how many drawers or closet space you should devote to belts, scarves, hats, etc. If the back of your dresser drawer is still pregnant with sock liners, neon tights, waist-lacing wide belts, or oversized plastic geometric accessories, it's time to bring your collection of accessories into the 21st century. If you haven't worn an accessory in years, add it to your Goodwill bag. You won't miss it, we promise.
Weird Socks
No one knows exactly where individual socks will disappear, but they will leave behind lonely companions. If the missing culprit reappears, it makes sense to hang on to a single sock for a week or two, but otherwise, individual socks will just take up space in your drawer. Toss all those lonely socks into your rag box and use them for housecleaning.
Collectibles you don't love
Aunt Mildred's owl-shaped alarm clock. The bowling trophy you won in fifth grade. Your bedroom should only contain those things you love, so if you have collections tucked away in your bedroom that has passed or were never your favorites, first, it's time to get rid of them. Add unwanted accessories to your Goodwill bag. You'll instantly feel freer.
Block Pillows
Pillows last forever. In fact, as a general rule, breathable pillows for adults should be replaced once a year, especially if you can't wash them in hot water. If you sleep on a big, worn pillow, you're not only leaving your head and neck without proper support, you're also exposing yourself to an overgrowth of dust mites, bacteria, fungus, and other unpleasant allergens. If you fold your pillow in half and it doesn't return to its original shape; it's lumpy, smelly, or heavily stained; treat yourself to a good night's sleep with a new pillow.
Old bedding
Do you sleep on worn, torn, or pilled twin fitted sheets? Or cover yourself with a comforter from decades ago in its heyday? Nothing sets the style of your bedroom better than your bedding, so if your bedroom proclaims that your style is "can't be bothered with anything nice", go for a fresh look and get a quality set of sheets and beautiful linens. Get a comforter or comforter that is true to you. This is one of the fastest and easiest ways to give your bedroom a new look.
Ugly lampshades
Even the most attractive bedside lamp can lose its appeal on a yellowed, worn, or torn shade. Replace a broken shade with a colorful new one, or give a yellowed shade a new lease on life by painting, staining, or even covering it with paper cutouts.
Overstuffed pillows
Two or three pillows are perfect. Five or more throw pillows are overwhelming. If your bed is overwhelmed by the weight of all the toss pillows, sift through the collection to your three favorites and donate the rest, or put them back on the couch in your living room.
Old magazines
It's a pleasure to curl up in bed or a reading chair and read your favorite magazines. Looking at a rickety pile of old magazines on your bedside table is not. Throw away the magazines you've finished reading and put the rest on a magazine rack or bookshelf.
Dirty dishes
One plate leftover from last night's bedtime snack is fine - just make sure you put it in the kitchen sink before you leave the house. However, if the top of your dresser disappears under a pile of used cups, plates, and bowls, it's time to limit dining in the dining room. Not only will dirty dishes be an eyesore, but they'll also make your bedroom smell, add mold spores to the air, and can attract insects.

The importance of reading for children.
How important is reading to children? Today, we look at the importance of reading and how it allows us to move from our world to another. Between the pages of a book, we can immerse ourselves in the lives of fictional characters, learn about cultures completely different from our own, and let our imaginations run wild. It also allows us to learn new words and phrases, experience a range of emotions, and gain skills and knowledge - important for children and adults alike.
What are the benefits of children reading?
There is evidence that children who read for enjoyment every day not only perform better on reading tests than those who don't, but also have a broader vocabulary, increased general knowledge, and a better understanding of other cultures. This is why the importance of reading to children should not be underestimated. There are many other benefits of reading to a child's development, including
Improved language skills
Through listening to stories, children are exposed to a wide range of vocabulary. This helps them build their word dictionaries and improves their comprehension when listening, which is crucial when they begin to read. Even if your child doesn't understand every word, hearing new sounds, words and phrases will encourage them to replicate what they hear, and their comprehension will undoubtedly improve dramatically.
The world is like a big stage, with thousands of scenes and different customs and people worth experiencing. In reading, they can get in touch with all kinds of beings; in reading, they can know the world; in reading, they can appreciate the wonders of science and nature. Enabling them to dream big and foster creativity ensures that they never stop exploring the world.
Create a special bond with your child
Any parent needs to be able to create a special bond with your child. Reading allows you to create special moments with your child and provides one-on-one opportunities. The first time you read and discover a story becomes an unforgettable memory for both child and parent.
As parents, we can educate and help our children develop from the day they are born, and they are never too young to learn! Did you know that your baby can hear sounds as early as 18 weeks? Even before they are born, babies learn to recognize their parents' voices, and regularly speaking to your belly will help them recognize your voice and comfort them.
Encourage your child to choose what they like to read so that they don't get bored with learning to read. Using your child's subjective wishes as a reference can help you decide on new stories to purchase.
Try to read in an undisturbed area, which will effectively improve your child's concentration and not be attracted to other sounds. Bedtime reading is the best choice to improve the bond between parents and children at the same time, the quality of children's sleep will also be improved, that's why parents are attracted to bedtime stories, if you are worried about your child's sleep again, you can read our previous article "How to sleep better?"
In summary, we have decided to suggest a few of our favorite books, selections that are particularly well suited to help your child's language development:
My Friend Bunny is a lovely tribute to friendship and fun, illustrated in beautiful colors. My Friend Bunny is a delicious story about a very special friend. Bunny is full of adventure and play, from painting to dressing up to crafting and singing.
The Brave Lion is a poetic fable, rich in content and beautifully sweet in illustration. In "The Very Brave Lion," a young cub and his father talk about growing up and learning that sometimes it's okay to be afraid, and that kindness and love are all that matters.

Does the color affect the baby?
How much color should I put in the nursery? Will it be too bright? Will it be stimulating enough? We want to know how color affects babies. While there is still much scientific debate about how color affects babies, there is endless evidence of how color affects adults. It's no coincidence that most fast food restaurants are red and yellow, and that these colors make people feel hungrier. Why not take advantage of all this research and use it to choose your nursery colors? While your baby may not be able to perceive colors correctly for a while, they will when they grow up, and as those marketing executives have proven - colors do affect us. Here's a quick rundown of some color theory and how it can help you choose the right paint color for your child's nursery.
Red - Passionate, exciting, emotional - Red is bold and attracts a lot of attention. It can be used as an accent in a nursery, but should be avoided on the walls. Red is the "hottest" color and may stand out by evoking unstable personality traits.
Orange - warm, cozy, comfortable - Orange is a very comforting color. It promotes a feeling of welcome and inspires conversation between people. Orange is friendly and reassuring. Use a darker orange to create a super cozy atmosphere or a bright orange for a modern feel.
Yellow - Lively, energetic and cheerful. Yellow is sunny and bright, but use it with care. Too much or too bright a yellow can agitate babies. Subtle yellows can promote concentration and emotional thinking.Active babies and yellow toddler blankets go better together,
Green - Calming, refreshing and nourishing - green is the perfect color for a learning environment. It promotes a calm and focused mind. It is also very serene, calm and natural. Green is one of the best colors to use for decorating because it is so abundant in nature - you can't go wrong!
Blue - Healing, subtle - Blue is calming, but be careful with your choice of shades. A grayish blue can make people feel sad. Blue can increase productivity, but should not be used around food. If you have a child who refuses to eat, avoid using blue plates. In the nursery, use warm or bright blues and avoid excessive use of navy or dark shades. Blue is also cool, which is good for babies who get hot easily.
Purple - stately, mysterious, luxurious - has long been associated with royalty, and still is. The jewel-colored purple is as majestic as it gets. Softer purples like lavender and lilac are more calming and tranquil, but still have that luxurious feel to them. Purple is rare in nature, making it the most "unnatural" color. White - clean, pure, innocent - white is angelic and sweet, but it also promotes secrecy. Stay away from all white - use splashes of color to evoke emotion and openness. And be careful - white is definitely stain-prone!
Pink - romantic, cute, feminine - it's no coincidence that little girls love pink. It is the universal color for all girls. Pink is also very calming, especially for children who are prone to tantrums. Feel free to use pink in a girl's nursery - the only negative effect might be a bit of a princess-like attitude!
Gray - introspective, intuitive, emotional - gray can inspire contemplation - just like you can feel a little down on a cloudy day (that's why raincoats are yellow). Be careful with gray. It has the advantage of promoting reflection and emotion, but that includes sadness and loneliness. Many famous poets and writers have retreated to cloudy places to write, like Seattle. If you want to use gray, use warm tones and mix in some brighter colors.
Brown - earthy and grounding - Brown is the color of our planet, which makes it a great choice for nurseries. However, brown is also the color of other things, so use it with caution. Choose a dark chocolate or very light beige/brown color. Avoid any intermediate shades, as they tend to look, well, poopy.
There is an endless amount of information about color. If you're planning the color of your nursery, take a few minutes to do a little research - after all, your baby will be in this room until you decide to repaint it, and in addition to nursery colors, don't choose overly bright colors for baby bedding - light pink and light blue muslin baby blankets are options to consider, where is light and soft and won't be a burden to the skin.

Do dogs need a small blanket to sleep?
A dog’s blanket provides a great deal of comfort both in and out of the home. Many families have chaotic routines. Work, school, and nightly activities can all provide a jolt of unpredictability into your pet’s life. These are essential activities in your world, but to your pet, they are a source of stress.
Your dog needs a spot to call their own. When chaos is thrust upon them, they need something, however small it might be, that they can depend on to provide comfort. A dog’s blanket is often just the thing that they need to provide that source of comfort. When it comes to purchasing a dog blanket, it’s good to know you have plenty of durable and comfortable options.
Below are some of the reasons that every dog needs a blanket:
A Natural Instinct to Nest – Dogs have base instincts that have stuck with them since before the days of domestication. For instance, they may circle and scratch around their sleeping spot. For them, it may feel like they’re building their comfortable nest, or a place to rest for the remainder of the night.
A blanket gives them a natural place to rest their head inside your home. They won’t need to go searching all over for this spot on a regular basis if they have a comfortable, favorite blanket accessible for them to sleep on.
Keep Your Dog Warm – Sleeping on a blanket instead of tile or a hardwood floor can provide your dog a source of warmth and comfort on a cold winter night. This is especially true if you don’t sleep in the same room as your dog, or don’t allow them on your living room furniture. Offering your animal this option, especially on a winter night, can just feel like the right thing to do.
Keep Calm in a Thunderstorm – Summer thunderstorms can be a great source of anxiety for dogs. The shockingly loud booms can send animals into panic mode. Having a blanket for them to take shelter on can provide a source of stability in chaos.
Comfort on the Go – Travel is stressful for dogs. For many animals, the car becomes automatically associated with the vet, which can make going anywhere with your pup difficult. A comfortable blanket makes any car trip a less anxious affair.
Comfort in Unfamiliar Places – Families travel and go on vacations. People often board their animals to make vacations a little easier. A favorite blanket can provide a permanent reminder of home, and their “favorite humans.” This is another difficult and anxiety-provoking experience for dogs, and that sense of stability that a blanket provides can really help.
Easier to Wash than a Bed。Blankets are very simple and straightforward to clean. Just like washing your striped throw blankets regularly, you can simply toss them in the family washing machine and go about your day. This is not the case with many dog beds. Washed on the wrong setting, they can be ruined.
Does Your Dog Have a Blanket?
Dogs are notoriously fond of their blankets. It gives them a place to snuggle and cozy up, whether at home or on the road. Regardless of your lifestyle, it's an easy investment that every pet owner can make to improve the quality of life for their animal. If your dog is a small dog, toddler blanket can be a great help, and if he's a big dog, cable knit throw blankets would be a good choice.

Study on unexpected infant deaths finds soft bedding still a leading factor
A study of nearly 5,000 sudden unexpected infant deaths (SUID) found that soft bedding is still to blame for a majority of fatalities. In the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)-tracked data, which included deaths that occurred in children under age 1 from 2011-2017, 72% of cases involved "unsafe bedding."
The study, which was published in the American Academy of Pediatrics journal, Pediatrics, May edition, found that only 1-2% of SUID noted no unsafe sleep factors. The study also noted that there hasn’t been a significant decline in SUID since the 1990s, despite increased messaging and guidelines about safe sleeping habits for infants.
Currently, the CDC advises placing babies on their backs for sleep at all times, whether a nap or for night sleep. The agency recommends a firm, flat sleep surface in a safety-approved crib covered by a fitted sheet, and to keep the sleep area in the same room where you sleep until the baby is at least 6 months old, or until one year old. It also advises keeping soft bedding such as bumper pads and soft toys clear of the sleep area, and checking to ensure your baby is not too hot.
In the data, researchers found that approximately 75% of explained and possible suffocation deaths resulted from airway obstruction attributed to soft bedding.
"Unsafe sleep factors were common in explained and unexplained SUID cases, but deaths could only be classified as suffocation for ~20% of cases," researchers concluded. "Further analysis of unexplained deaths, including continued improvements to death scene investigation and documentation, may generate hypotheses for physiologic and genetic research, advance our understanding of gaps in SUID investigation, and enhance our understanding of infants at highest risk."

Some Things You Should Clean Every Single Day
We know what you're thinking." Another thing to add to my to-do list?" But trust us, there's a method behind our madness - and in the long run, these chores will have a huge impact on your family.
Restrooms
They may not look dirty, but in a USDA-funded study, dish towels were identified as the most contaminated area in the kitchen. Hand towels get dirtier because you use them more than once a day. They should be changed every few days, or even daily if you have a large family.
When you think about the things you put on your countertop (car keys, mail, purse), it's impossible to ignore how dirty they are, and don't let's start leaving crumbs for the critters. That's why you should be wiping and sanitizing daily. Just make sure you don't use the same sponge, paper towel or cloth to do this. It's not good practice to wipe down multiple surfaces with one rag, as this can lead to cross-contamination.
All sinks
While you may think that the basin in your sink will be clean as a whistle after you wash your hands or dishes, the reality is that the dirt and bacteria you leave behind will stick to the walls of the basin. If you're serious about cleaning, you should use an eraser-style sponge to remove traces, then disinfect the basin by plugging the drain, filling it with warm water, and then using a tablespoon of bleach. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then rinse and air dry.
Dirty dishes
Leftover sauce and breadcrumbs overnight will only attract bugs and make the next day's dishwashing more difficult. Instead, hand wash dinner plates and utensils before calling it a day, or put them in the dishwasher.
Your coffee maker
If you're like us, you probably brew a fresh cup of coffee every day. Since your coffee maker is a breeding ground for bacteria and mold, you really need to clean it every day. It is best to clean the removable parts of your coffee maker after each use to remove coffee, grinds and oils. You can hand wash them with warm soapy water at the sink, but usually these parts are dishwasher safe. Don't forget to wipe down the exterior and holding tray, as spills can burn.
Crumb-covered floors
If you've made dinner, face it. You may have dropped food on the floor in the process. But thankfully, a quick sweep after you're done with the dishes will pick up the crumbs - and ensure that unwelcome guests don't find them first.
Your room
How often do you typically wash your bed sheets and covers? Such as sheets, pillowcases and towels. If it is generally recommended to clean at least once every two weeks, in the current situation, Experts recommend that you replace it at least once a week.Even the grey twin sheet that you don't seem to get dirty produces a lot of stains that you can't see.
There are also two reasons:
Because they are used continuously in large quantities, you need to clean your sheets and towels more frequently.
There are usually more than one person in the family who use towels and pillowcases, so the chance of spreading bacteria usually increases.
Cleaning the three-piece set does not take much time, even the heaviest velvet flnnel duvet cover set can be easily cleaned and completed. Generally, people forget to clean their bedding regularly from the hindrance of putting on the bedding. If you also suffer from the difficulty of quickly set the cover, you can refer to some tips on putting on the bedding.
