I can finally post my Misthoppers Halloween Secret Strahd piece I did for @nouveaumoon of their OC, Ghost! Such a cool character with such a tragic/crazy backstory. I looooove them. <3

howdy hey! in the midst of tying up loose ends 🔪 and finishing commissions that should have been done LONG ago 🎨 i bring some good news.

i will be streaming from 12-7 on halloween next thursday!

during the stream, i will be taking sketch requests for anything — ocs, shitposts, anything TOS compliant you got it. i will be joined by as many of my players as can make it. if you've ever wondered what it's like to be personally tortured by me, or if you just want some art, stop on in for a little while! creator commentary: intermission

i've always liked the idea of having shorts between chapters for the small stories of barovia that are too small to dedicate a whole chapter to. i was planning on doing one for izek after the abbot's chapter, but... well, more on that in the news post with the next update, along with some ramblings about style changes that will have to happen to be able to Actually make the comic after a year lol. i want to try to get the next update out by halloween, but my commission workload is heavy -- a blessing and a curse. this was just a convenient way of answering a request on my art blog and shake a story out of my head that had been sitting in there for a while. it will, unfortunately, have to stay only on the tumblr until we get to that point in the comic where it can be slotted in due to the way the website pulls the pages from the files, but that's alright. i love my secrets, if it isn't obvious

while i'm on my dinner break, does anyone else remember those in-character ask blogs where someone would respond with art? usually jokey, always a good time? resulted in an influx of bad fanon interpretations of characters? sometimes would interact with one another? i kind of want to start one for curse of strahd or at least one of the characters, but to pull back the curtain a bit i don't have very many followers so i don't think i would get much interaction LOL. that and people don't send asks like they used to

also, expect a newsletter this week. I've had it in my drafts since the Aug 13 update, but I have a hard time with writing. I'll find the time to sit down and get it finalized (along with something else too, if time allows it ;] )
