update:

we defeated him in the Battle of the Nile; our ship capsized but I managed to get to land. Ptolemy wasn’t so lucky and drowned (beta move).

recap of the Pompey stuff

ok i have been way too busy to post about it but heres an overall view of it

first came the Battle of Dura; Pompey had a pretty impressive army and I had to totally withdraw

i retreated to a new camp but needed to act quickly because I had few men and little to no food/drinking water

next we fought the Battle of Pharsalus; it was a slow start but it was extremely aggressive, my legions got total control and we defeated Pompey as he withdrew!!

Pompey fled to Egypt and then he got killed :( i was gonna forgive him and bring him back to Rome

now i am a conspiracy target in Egypt i guess

i moved forward across the Rubicon with one legion. when i got into Rome it was pretty deserted. I told Mark Antony he could watch over the city while I deal with Pompey. I did make some new laws, elect new senators, and took care of financial affair while waiting for new boats to be built. i also defeated the Pompey supporters in Spain to ensure my city wouldn’t be attacked by them.

i’ve been gone from Rome for so long now...

rumor is that Crassus had his legions defeated in the Battle of Carrhae and then perished (his military skills aren’t as good as mine)

Pompeys been making me feel uncomfy again. he says I have been overstaying my campaign in Gaul and that it was supposed to be only 5 years. that’s literally not true! we had a meeting earlier saying I had 5 extra years -_- 

now hes ordering me to disband my legions and trying to get me to face a trial in the Senate (this is why i hate the senate lol) 

my life is literally going to be over if I listen to him

im gonna march into Rome with my legions and show Pomey who the real boss is!

i spent over a year in Britain, now Gaul is trying to band up against me

Vercingetorix was leading them against me. I did manage to eventually force him to retreat to the city of Alesia. I surrounded the city and built two wooden walls around the city (one to keep the citizens in, the other to keep other armies out). Vercingetorix surrendered!!

I have achieved everything I always desired!!!!

Update on the Gaul situation

so first we fought the battle of BIbracte (which we won)

we fought some more and conquered when i saw Britain. now i just need boats and some time so i can go over there.

im tryna confiscate riches and receive taxes from my conquered cities..... Gaul is looking pretty good to me rn

gonna go march it with four legions (almost 24,000 soldiers ;))
