people are really fucking clueless about generative ai huh? you should absolutely not be using it for any sort of fact checking no matter how convenient. it does not operate in a way that guarantees factual information. its goal is not to deliver you the truth but deliver something coherent based on a given data set which may or may not include factual information. both the idolization of ai and fearmongering of it seem lost on what it is actually capable of doing

sad reality of the fanfic-to-published work economy is that the weirdest people are willing to do it. that's why there's now hundreds of shitty no plot cishet hate-to-love enemies-to-lovers books that are ex reylo fanfic. and it's not even good. that's because the people who wrote book-quality steve/bucky and kirk/spock fic are too normal to think to themselves "i should get this porn published". they're too busy working in local government offices

i wish there was an easier way to tell the difference between an "if it sucks hit da bricks" situation and a "sometimes being an adult means doing things that you dont wanna" situation

one of my favorite moments in campaign two was when they were infiltrating vergesson and caleb went on a murder spree and beau casually poured acid down a man's throat and the cast were all like exchanging looks of horror and they thought caleb and beau were for sure falling under The Eyes' influence and would have to be dealt with and they made a separate group chat to discuss it.. and then turns out it wasn't any influence at all bc i guess beau and caleb are just freaks like that all on their own ❤️😊

I’m rewatching supernatural, and I can’t believe I never realised this before, but sam and dean are the exact opposite of what they think of themselves. In the brothers’ eyes Sam is the more emotionally open one, or the one with more empathy, and yet he struggles to make close relationships that aren’t romantic. He keeps everyone at arms distance: john, mary, bobby, cas, and so many other examples throughout the series. Whereas dean is supposed to be closed off and emotionally stunted, and yet he has deeper connections with almost all recurring characters: garth, jody, donna, claire (obviously the ones mentioned before). He lets people in more easily than sam. Even how he knows all the shopkeepers in lebanon, whereas they don’t seem to know sam (ie 14x13).
#this relates to the idea of Getting Out too btw. sam thinks he’s trying to get out but really he’s just trying to be his own person withi#the life of hunting. dean thinks it’s all he’ll ever be able to do and he wants so desperately to leave

Every episode of Supernatural they ask, "How will we defeat this new and unique monster?" and the answer is "shoot them with guns," mostly.

I believe there are two morals to white collar. 1) if you’re too good of a liar no one will trust you, and 2) if you never trust someone they’ll have no reason to be truthful.
