Years have passed, and now I was holding a hand that resembles yours, only it was softer and tinier. This little being in front of me was a combination of two people who deeply love each other, and everytime he directs his eyes at me, I can see the very set of eyes that I've fallen in love with. He was named after the cartoon character from the movie that we always loved to watch together, i think he adopted that addiction. I know because I've heard him talked about it with his friends more than a couple of times already. He also has your smile, it's contagious that I smile too everytime he flashes me one. I was teaching him how to write his name properly when you walked in and called him, and now he was running with his little, clumsy footsteps that sets me in awe everytime. "Hey, little bud", you greeted as you scooped him in your arms, a place which i considered my home. You look so occupied with each other, talking about who knows what, but that was before you look up, and the pair of eyes similar to the ones I was looking at not too long ago are now staring at me. The little boy in your arms followed your line of vision so I directed my sight to him instead. He giggled like a typical four year-old as you said "it's his mom's birthday, can i get him out of school a little too soon?". I couldn't remember when, but I know I've given you a nod when I heard you tell your little boy "say goodbye to your teacher". And now you're walking towards her, bringing with you the life that we always planned for us, back when fate has yet to intervene.
