Makeup Review : [Rohto Mentholatum] Lip Ice Butter Ice Cream Matcha
Hey beautiful!
Coming back to catch-up of my 3 weeks absent (yep I was very busy back then, please do forgive me! ^^) with a lip product this time! I was very eager to get this product because it was kinda rare at the time (well until now this product only sells at selected market like Guardian and Watsons).
About the brand
Rohto Mentholatum is a Japanese based- brand that quite popular with it’s Lip Ice’s lip balm products in Indonesia. I personally trust this brand with the other products as well (skincare, etc).
Product at a glance
Lip balm with the color- changing properties and matcha (green tea) scent to it. Isn’t that just enough to make my heart throb and just bring it to the cashier!
Packaging
The usual carton - packing with plastic case to showcase the product effectively. I love the design of the carton packing, but unfortunately I need to throw it down since it would be rubbish anyway if I keep it. But nice job to the carton designer!
Product Design
While the carton design is so full and eye- catching, unfortunately the product itself wasn’t as colorful as the carton. It’s starting to feel rather minimalist/ cheap- design product and not as eye- catching as before. I prefer a green- colored (or exact full color scheme as the carton. But, for some who prefer a minimalistic style, this might suit you better.
Ingredients Value
I googled the ingredients one by one to be sure there’s nothing concerning at least. Unfortunately, it’s not vegan and still contains petroleum derivative/ petrolatum. For some, these ingredients might be a turn- off, but for me it’s not a big deal.
Product Quality
For me, all kind of Lip Ice series feel the same in terms of quality. They’re not too heavy on the lip, they glides smoothly, giving “menthol” properties to the lips and fancily- scented! While the color- changing properties is such a fancy addition to this one, but being a lip balm, the color itself did not stay as long as the Kailijumei ones. But seriously, I was hoping for more additional scents to this “Butter Ice Cream” series.
Swatch Description
Glossy light rose-coloured balm. It could also shown differently based on the skin/ lip moisture level and pH level, also different on each person.
Value For Money
I forgot the exact price tag for this item, maybe around Rp 30.000,00 or less. It has a very affordable price even for students! In my opinion, this lip balm is worth the price, absolutely!

Weeb Side of Mine : Favourite Characters List
Hey! So my best friend asked me yesterday to make a list of my all-time favourite characters, but there’s only 12 space limit. I was having a hard time deciding who could enter the list~!
But anyway, here we go!
I decided to separate the parts into three sections (to further resist myself to add too much character from the same section) which are : manga (red one), game (blue one) and anime (yellow one).
Starting with the top-left, Onpu! She was my assigned role back then in elementary school. We made a small chuunibyou (role playing) group consisting of 4 members haha, it was super fun! Onpu herself is the idol witch, which is a perfect job I think.
Okaay this is quite easy for the boys, since all possess much similarities ^^. Kazuki, Shuichi (or Kurama), Tamamo, Tamao and Jowy all are the senpai (older, wiser, mature) type! Kurama and Tamamo are kitsune youkai (fox mythical creature) while the others are human. You could guess from here that indeed I have a brother- complex, megane (eyeglasses) fetish, and the strong attraction for bishounen (handsomely feminine looking guys).
Rinoa is the first female game characters that I love so much. Being a “strong- willed princess” and have such enchanting personality, Rinoa capture my heart the first time I met her on the game. Well actually I met her at the famous dance MV before playing the game hahaha.
Manaka is the type of girlfriend that I would like to have. She’s so adorable, cute, insecure and fragile at times. My first impression on the game trailer of her vs the first impression on the game experience of her is so much different. I love the Manaka after I knew her better. While Sena is the perfect opposite of Manaka and I also love her hobbies in gaming, dumb-bitchy attitude and her maid/ blonde hair as well.
And here we comes to the most important fetish of me, yes, twintails! I really love twin- tailed characters (and I did not include my ultimate waifu Hatsune Miku- because she’s an idol to everyone & everyone loves her anyway so it’s kind of needless to say!).
Perhona is the only one here I love without actually knowing her or even watch her from the anime. It’s a love based on her looks completely and funny thing is, she’s the first official figurine that I had back then! Look at her pink hair, princessy- style, gothic- like and twintail! The exact same vibe I got from Junko, but I also love Junko being a villain and not the good girl! Yuno has the same pink hair and low pig-tails and also is a villain.
So, yeah that’s the short version/ summary of the characters that I like! I hope you enjoy this rather random post anyway hehehe ^^.

Makeup Review : [Cezanne] Glossup Eye Shadow
Hallo, schöner!
Starting the year with a beauty item review, another eye shadow! ^^ Yep in 2017 I was so obsessed having my eyelids with some sparks of color! That’s why, when this item launched in Japan, I immediately pre- ordered it ^o^.
About the brand
Cezanne is a common drugstore brand in Japan. It’s hugely popular because of the cheap price but providing high quality items.
Product at a glance
Duo- color glittery cream-type eyeshadow. The product itself has two color variant : 01- Gold Brown and 02- Pink Brown. I picked up the latter (02) because well, it’s pink!
Packaging
It only has a plastic seal throughout the case before initial opening. The case itself made of somewhat sturdy transparent plastic case. Due to the brand policy of simplicity and sustainable packaging, this makes sense not to include fancy packing. Straightforward and practical indeed!
Product Design
Nothing special about the fanciness, but I could give appreciation for the optimization of space and simple design of product. This is like an actual product you will put in the cosmetic pouch, not for the sake of showing off in SNS or to your friend ^^.
Ingredients Value
Now now, I don’t understand Japanese either. But on the website it mentioned that the product is free from : fragrance, mineral oil, and alcohol. At least these are the common skin allergen. But a touch of strawberry souffle scent will be nice, won’t it?
Product Quality
For a drugstore brand level, I personally think this eyeshadow duo does its job quite nicely. It has a decent long wear time and quite good color payoff. I love the brown one, it’s quite pigmented and show off very nice in real life! The pink one turns out not as pink I hoped it turns out, but still nice ^^ It’s better to use the pink one as a base/ top/ aegyo-sal or namida- bukuro, as it won’t do the job as accent/ main color well.
Swatch Description
A : Pink hint of color with silver large grain pearl/ glitter/ lamé . B : Brown color with gold large grain pearl/ glitter/ lamé .
Value For Money
The website noted this item as ¥580, but I got mine (include shipping cost, etc) at Rp 125.000,00. Quite pricey in IDR, yes. I wouldn’t recommend this item for the ones looking for a decent quality eyeshadow for a low price, you might find this item better suited for you! But, if you’re interested in trying/ collecting the item itself, it’s always welcome ^^. So, it’s not worth the price in IDR as it too pricey for the amount of only two color!

Played It : Syrup and The Ultimate Sweet
Hi!
So I decided to change the “Game EXP” title into “Played It” because I am worried that people misread them (quite similar titles) and accidentally read spoilers instead of review.
Okay, let’s get to the post- gaming experience discussion!
Click here to read spoiler- free review instead!
What elements stand out and amuse you?
Of course, it’s the graphic. Really love the expression change in each character. Syrup is drawn correctly based on her arrogant image, Gumdrop perfectly shown a sweet and naive character image as well as the others. I also like the cat-pun made by Toffee (the cat). While there is an element of shoujo-ai, it was so subtle that it was enjoyable for all ages. Also, love that ending about being rich does not make it as a “bad ending”.
What elements does not excite you as much?
If I had to mention, it’s the lack of “Gallery for CG” like most visual novels offers. Must be nice to have a full rendered image of a specific scene ^^. Oh also, maybe the menu interface style is not my preference.
Which ending you like best?
Maybe it’s the “default” Gumdrop End. It’s just so sweet and romantic. But the Syrup End is so nice, because it proves that being an ace and focus to other things could lead to something good too.
Which ending you hate (or like the least)?
Hmm, it should be the Worst End. Because, hating someone does not actually puts you in disadvantages all time and you don’t have to be a people pleaser!
Which characters stands out?
Syrup, Gumdrop and Butterscotch! I like the design and in-game character. Syrup for her being wary towards others, Gumdrop for her color and being a candy (this is important), and Butterscotch for being a tsundere.
Is there anything else to add?
Voice acting is a great point to compliment the game. I always imagine Syrup talking in Ashly Burch ‘s voice (Chloe from Life is Strange). While Butterscotch’s voice is in Minami Takahashi’s voice (Sega Saturn from Hi☆sCoool! SeHa Girls).

Game Review : Syrup and The Ultimate Sweet
Hallo readers! Merry Christmas 2017 and Happy New Year 2018!
This Saturday, introducing some cool FREE games on itch.io! This game was made a long time ago (around 2015-ish) but as we all believe, games do not age! At the first look of the game, I know that we had an instant confection!
Recommended for you who are interested in cute/ sweet things, light visual novel, and shoujo-ai.
What about the creator?
This indie game was made by Nomnomnami and you could download it here. Apparently Nomnomnami has their own patreon and also made a several games with similar theme as well.
What about the gameplay?
Visual novel type of game with some branching routes which allows us to obtain several endings. The purpose of the game is to collect as many endings/ stories.
What about the controls and difficulty?
It’s just regular visual novel, required only keyboard+ mouse. There’s a setting to switch between controls. There is no special skill needed to play the game beside reading skill. Oh, don’t worry there’s a font setting and a voice- over for those who are dyslexic.
What about the length and replayability?
I played one route for around 20 minutes. With the skipping system, it took me around 2 hours to get all the endings. There are several endings so the replayability is medium.
What about the graphic quality?
The character sprites are pretty well- made. It serves good both as the art of the game and to reflect each character. The user interface is designed to match the sweets theme, but the choosen font is not the most comfortable font to read. Supports fullscreen. Overall art quality is such an eye-candy.
What about the content?
The story itself rather light (slice- of- life) and easy to digest. The characters are designed to have rather “archetypes” personality and this is kinda crucial for short visual games. With such contrasting persona of each characters, they are all easy to differentiate with each others. The conversation is pretty good and lifelike. Combined with the familiar sweets name, they are memorable.
What about the sound quality?
Music provided by MockOff match the theme. There will be amazing if each character is voiced. Overall sound quality is good.
Is there bonus contents?
There is a manual/ artbook that you could buy separately. If you’re looking for a plain sprites/ backgrounds, they were provided in local files folder.
How valuable this game compared to the full price?
Lucky for you, it is a free game! But if you want to support the great indie game devs out there, why not give them donations or buy the artbook instead?
Do you want to write something else?
Amai mono ga tabetai. (I want to eat something sweet)

Gaming EXP : The Deed : Dynasty
Hello!
Taking a brief of pause, I ate the whole cake my mom bought for me last Sunday. That’s why I pick the name yummycake okay? Tee-hee. Eh, let’s get to the post- gaming experience discussion!
Click here to read spoiler- free review instead!
First of all, I love the setting of the places and clothes! I’m so jealous they still use proper language and nice dresses, even the poor ones. But again, old times has its own downside : hygiene problem. Yuck!
1. Blood Will Have Blood (1401) : this story is about revenge. Personally, I agree with MC’s motive because his stepdad throw away his family when he got rich. Also, MC is quite lucky because of the proper education he had, he still get to manage of talking and behaving like royals. I guess having a bad life doesn’t always put you unhappy. Detective and home butler is very attractive here.
2. The Scarlet Lady (1868) : Well well, this one is kinda.. childish motive compared to the first? But abusive relationship is not healthy at all, I agree. This MC’s motive is not strong enough to kill someone, I mean, she could go away instead and live a new life. My favourite character is the stranger in this one.
3. A Crimson Garland (1895) : This is my favourite story of them three. First, the MC has my preferred type of beauty face. Second, this MC sarcastic lines sounds funny to me. Third, there is baby included. The method of killing is easier and escape route is faster compared to the two. I love this MC. Also her motive of killing is because her written novel is stolen and published under the thief name. Now I know writing is hard, even harder when you don’t get a penny from your writing, not even credited under your name!
Lastly, I just want to wrap this up with a statement : karma does exist. See you next time!

Game Review : The Deed : Dynasty
Hi!
I want to review this game so long, it’s already a year since I bought this game, and this is my first- bought Steam game yeay! Oops I was too excited now and said “this game” three times before, now it’s the fourth!
This game was made by Pilgrim Adventure. Let’s take a peek!
Recommended for those are into reversed-detective, framing people and being a villain.
TL; DR Version
This one does not have Steam Screenshot library.
LONG VERSION
1. Game Mechanics : classic RPG maker game so simple key was used (arrow/ esc button/ mouse). Nothing special game related. Fortunately there is Shift button to faster the MC movement.
2. Visuals : basic RPG maker template (or is it not using a template? Correct me if I'm wrong) but the character avatar used in the speech box and sprite in-game indeed match the character role. Every man looks attractive and every woman look so fragile.
3. Sounds : well, it match the situation in the game, but no special made up OST.
4. Story : this is the part where this game is special and different than the rest of games I've played so far. There's three different story, with three different characters and motives. The MC is always a person who wants to kill someone so badly based on revenge or hatred. We now must kill the target and try to blame someone for the deed. Basically this game resembles CLUE the boardgame, if you're familiar with it. There's a person, a murder weapon and alibi.
5. Replayability Value : trust me, to achieve all the achievement is the challenge for this game. Killing a person is so much easier compared to achieving all the achievements. Good luck to replay them 1000 times and try to complete all the achievements ^^.
6. Fun Factor : who said it isn't fun to kill person and try to get away with it?
7. Value for Full Price : to support the great developers out there, why not? This is the first game I buy on Steam, because it cost less than $5. Now I really am grateful to buy this one and look at my gameplay hours!
8. Others : Never judge a game by it's price, it's cover, it's reviews (unless it's buggy and crashy of course). You'll never know what treasure is buried inside dirty land.

Game Review : Heart of Crown PC
Eyyo good people! Still in the mood of white winter holiday (but in my place it is not snowing, boo). Hehehe anyway, let’s get to the review shall we?
First time I discover this game via Steam, later I just know that this game is a digital adaptation of the same game but in real life / board game version.
Recommended for those are into deck- building card game, waifus and multiplayer challenges.
TL;DR version
Click here to view my Steam Screenshots
LONG VERSION
1. Game Mechanics : using only mouse in this game making this easy to control. About the gameplay, many fellow HoC gamers said it resembles Dominion so if you're familiar with it, this game might have the same system. As for me, these kind of games is pretty fresh and new, so the learning curve is quite gradual (practice makes faster to understand). The game offers 15-30 minutes of game each session (assumed the CPU think is set to fast and we as a player think as fast the CPU).
2. Visuals : anime- style waifus are pretty much eye candy. Too bad there are only 7 (yet) to choose with. The interface and layout of the game is neat and beginner- friendly. There is also a downside, that the game is better in windowed mode (not in fullscreen as it will be blurred by a bit).
3. Sounds : while yes, a digitalized version of a card game will be enhanced by matching sound effect, it's nothing too special. There is a less- known feature that is we could add custom BGM in the game local folder. Is there any possibilities for voice acting of the princesses? That will add up some fun.
4. Story : the only "story" you could get is via obtaining random card in Campaign Mode. Basically, we must earn points to unlock each random card. This system either makes me motivated to play more and sometimes makes me disappointed for the "story" unlocked content after trying so hard to obtain points is so brief.
5. Replayability Value : you could replay the game until you're bored. So good luck with achieving all the Steam Achievements before you got bored ^^.
6. Fun Factor : the fresh game mechanics of the game is still amuse me until now (even with so much losses to the Weak CPU). The nice graphic is very much entertaining all the time.
7. Value for Full Price : to support the great developers out there, why not? I buy this game because it was ranked pretty good for a card game but I have a hard time playing board game irl so digital version is the compensation for that. Imagine that you don't have to spend extra time to shuffle card nor to place each card based on their layout and especially not to have calculate the points ourselves. While yes, that's the charm of board game but I prefer something easier to have fun.
8. Others : This game will be pretty stressing if you expect for victory each time you play. Instead try to discover ways to obtain Succession Points with different card or different princesses.
Tested with: Acer Aspire E1 -471G 1366 x 768/ Windows 7/ 64-Bit Intel Core i3 2348M (2.3 GHz) NVIDIA GeForce 710 M (1GB VRAM) 4GB DDR3 RAM

Gaming EXP : Finding Paradise
Hello are you still with me? Great ^^.
Regarding the last game review about Finding Paradise, let me share what I think about some things.
Click here to instead read the Game Review : Finding Paradise. Spoiler- free!
1. It has some connection with previous games (but it contains different story-- said the advertisement). But worry not, as I myself haven’t played the prequels before and still amused by it. I am impressed by how one, big story is slices into several portion. Well, if it served for the greater good, better to digest slice by slice isn’t it?
2. The amount of cyptic, inside jokes that related to the previous games. But again, I still enjoy the game nonetheless ^^. Would be more related if you know some, though. I heard this game is released 6 years after the first game, so will be very nostalgic to veteran gamers.
3. Amazing details of pixelart. I am stunned by every single item (moving, unmoving assets) that they put into the game. It really makes my heart doki doki you know? Hehe.
4. Very touching moments. I personally gets very sensitive when it comes to family and close friend matters. So it gets me very deep and in a good way. I actually could relate with the MC (Collin) who developed an imaginary friend because he was so lonely back then. It was a powerful imagination of his that enables the imaginary friend becomes so vivid and fluid.
5. Memorable story. At first I wasn’t expecting a semi sci-fi theme comes into the sad, weepy story like this. It was brilliant and it was my first time playing as an agent who could alter people memories, in order to “make believe their wish come true so could rest in peace” literally.
Ok to wrap it up, basically this game offers a story I wish would come true. It’s nice if in this nowadays, cruel world there are services like that. Because you know, mind over matter. I think it’s good that MC did not want to change anything from his beautiful life even though there are regrets (yes, he said he would be ungrateful if he change what makes him today). This one game, has good morale lesson to change person perspectives in life. A great gift indeed, if you want someone dearly to you enjoy this game as well ^^. Happy holiday!

Game Review : Finding Paradise
Hello guys! Are you done preparing for Christmas holiday by now? Is the Christmas tree decorated already with some pretty snowmans and little santas? So! I already received (and devoured) my early Christmas gift from my dear friend, Spliffi, a game by Freebird Games. Yes, as you may have read in the title, the game I want to share is Finding Paradise.
Recommended for those are into story- rich games, nice soundtrack and old- school pixel art.
For the moment, I don’t have any screenshot links (because I take screenshot the manual printscreen-paint way ^^). Will update later!
TL;DR Version
LONG VERSION
1. Control and Gameplay : using some basic movement (walk using arrow or ASDW, menu is X and choices made using C). So far I haven't found the "Option" for the game key rebinding. There is several game mode included, making it a little more interactive than the usual story- based rpg games. The only downside is that the characters move pretty slow (there is no run button?)
2. Fun Factor : for me, personally it has to be the graphic and the interface system. The tiniest details is drawn very carefully and every single action for the characters is noticeable. The story is great (especially if you expect heartwarming stories). Also one thing that worth mentioned is the music. While rarely I spot bad music for games, this one is nice (there will be free dlc for the OST).
3. Graphic : This might be of personal sentiment but, I find these kind of pixel art is amusing. It feels so nostalgic compared to the sleek look of 3D's. Also the tiny details make me smitten at times. The interface is so simple and easy to learn.
4. Replayability Value : unless you want to enjoy the music and the good scenes from this game, then no. Too bad the story has no branch and no real Steam achievement (you only get one for finishing the game). This kind of story offers no replayability value for me because, very deep and memorable ones already carved in my minds, so...
5. Sound : the music is good and nostalgic, it puts the story and feeling in tunes. Can't say more, but without the music, the story might have less impact for me.
6. Story : people who are hired to help some old man fullfill his last wish through his own memories. There is some sci-fi ish theme in the story, makes it quite unique.
7. Value for Full Price : to support the great developers out there, why not? I got this one as a Christmas gift from my friend and I really am grateful to know this one game. There is complexity in both the game design and gameplay, so it will worth for a full price.
8. Others : I want to try the prequels now.

Gaming EXP : Stories Untold
Hello everyone!
How was your day? I hope it’s good, huh? Ah well, I have lost greeting words after making 4 consecutive post! And... let’s start discussing about the post- gaming experience of Stories Untold!
Click here to instead read the Game Review : Stories Untold. Spoiler- free!
Starting with the first episode : The House Abandon. The gameplay mode is amazing, I love this kind text adventure games. While yes, it’s a hassle for some gamers, it’s a charm for me. I’ll admit it, for those who’s not get used to write things, it would be pretty hard to find the right keywords.
Back to the story, I play it blindly blind- and that scared me good. I totally forget that this is a “horror” game, I just think this is a sci-fi game or such. This episode hooked me pretty well.
Continuing to the second episode : The Lab Conduct. For some post- players, this is the most absurd episode compared to the rest. I like the “experiment mode” and controlling the equipments, it’s a puzzle mini game. I don’t think game should be relatable nor understandable, I just think games should be fun enough to play.
Next, the third episode : The Station Process. This requires patience and the will to completely decipher the codes. I love deciphering codes. What else could I ask?
Finally, the fourth episode : The Last Session. Pretty much reminds me of Silent Hill or Dementium hospitals. The fact that it has less mini- games makes me not really excited but in order to know the full story, I had to.
Bottom line, since I have no expectation (indeed I forgot why I buy this in the first place) the game journey is amazing. The surprises got me. The mini- games were fun, too. I totally want to play the rumoured Second Season of Stories Untold.

Game Review : Stories Untold
Phew, hello!
I’m still in the mood of doing review, so let’s proceed to the next game : Stories Untold. I remember buying this one on sale (when it emails me there’s a sale on steam, I immediately buy it). But, the funny thing is, I forget the reason for me to buy it, I even forget the reason why I wishlisted it in the first place.
How good is Stories Untold, then?
Recommended for those are into the screenshots, unique gameplay and uncommon story.
TL ; DR Version
Click here to see my Stories Untold screenshots.
LONG VERSION
1. Control and Gameplay : there are several game modes introduced here, but it's mostly about typing and point-and-drag-and-click type. Different gameplay will later introduced each time. No "timed" action, no need to fear of failing.
2. Fun Factor : actually the less you know about this game, it's better. I recommend playing it blindly until you got stuck.
3. Graphic : The almost photo- realistic image is great. VERY immersive.
4. Replayability Value : almost zero, since this game offers only one ending. There is no mini- game section for the mini- games, too bad. I bet many people love the mini games they put inside.
5. Sound : the usual BGM for visual novels of this kind. I rarely spot bad BGM on games like this, so I apologize from the lack of sound knowledge. But for effects sounds, etc., I think it's pretty on- point with the situation presented in the game. The voice acting is great too.
6. Story : while it offers different story each chapter, it was too short for my preferences.
7. Value for Full Price : to support the great developers out there, why not? But yaay I get it when it was on sale (again, sorry for supporting full- heartedly but paid half- wallety). I get the bundle version for OST, it's good too.
8. Others : Play it at night, with headphone plugged in.

Gaming EXP : Root Letter
Hello, dear readers!
This is my first gaming experience post - I’m excited to write all my personal experience post- gaming! Of course, it will include spoilers, so I expect you to already play/ finished the game first. You’ll relate much that way!
Click here to read Game Review : Root Letter. It’s spoiler- free!
From the title cover, I already expected great things inside. I notice the similar drawing to Minoboshi Taro’s artworks and also got hooked by the steam tag “horror” and “violent” beside the “visual novel” one.
First time blind- playing this game ( do not read any guide/ walktrough ), I got the 4th ending : Crossing Path. I kinda got disappointed in this ending. The expectation I have build up throughout the game, the tension made, all disappeared when I see this ending.
“Where’s the horror?” “Is that really it?”
Fortunately, there are also 4 other ending we could get in this game. Second playthrough, I aim for the 1st ending : The Cursed Letter. Now this one, closer to my expected ending, but it does not satisfy the feeling inside of me.
Thanks to the Skip Chapter feature, I obtain the rest of endings and achievement quickly. The 2nd ending : The Princess of Himegamori Forest is better than the 1st ending, I think. Because it is more of the “psychological horror” rather than “ghostly horror”.
The 3rd ending : A Government Plot is more like “trivial/ fun ending” like the usual UFO ending on Silent Hill series, if you are familiar with them. While it does not ring the logic in my brain, it’s fun to have this refreshing story. Just, don’t take it seriously haha.
The true ending, 5th ending : The Bond of Marriage is a good one. I get this sense of completion when all is explained more reasonably. Unfortunately, this story does not satisfy me either.
“All this time, it leads to a romantic relationship huh?”
Aside from the “left unsatisfied” feeling, this is a very good game. I read the omake in the artbook, it seems they plan very carefully to craft this game. The voice acting is great too, but I expect no less for this level of game. The immersivity is amazing. Is this the power of using real location as a background?
All I can say is, while the story is nothing special compared to the visuals, the journey is memorable.

Game Review : Root Letter
Hi!
Coming back with another game review, I would like to share this amazing visual novel : Root Letter. It captured my eyes and my heart already several months ago, but I was lucky to found this in the Steam Halloween Sale. Just a perfect opportunity to grab it along with the Artbook bundle.
Let’s get to the review then!
Recommended for those are into great scenery, drama, and reading texts.
TL; DR Version
TOO LONG VERSION
1. Control and Gameplay : it was made into an interactive visual novel, so the control is mostly point - and - click. There is a little different game mechanics (during interview mode), but it does not require any special action rather than clicking. No "timed" answers, so this is a pretty laid- back visual novel.
2. Fun Factor : the most enjoyable thing is the graphics. It was drawn by one of my favourite artist, Minoboshi Taro. The characters was not "too moe/ too animeish" so it makes the story more realistic and relatable. The background was very well- made. Based on true location surely makes Root Letter one of the most immersive visual novel in my opinion.
3. Graphic : I already pointed out above, but since it was so awesome, I'll once again give applause for the eye candy *claps*. Go see the screenshots I took for you, for a picture worth than thousand words.
4. Replayability Value : there is several endings you can get from this game, also a bonus achievements as a side- quest. Beside the "virtual" achievement from Steam, there is reward for clearing the side- quests from the game too.
5. Sound : the usual BGM for visual novels of this kind. I rarely spot bad BGM on games like this, so I apologize from the lack of sound knowledge. But for effects sounds, etc., I think it's pretty on- point with the situation presented in the game. The voice acting is great too.
6. Story : a curious person who travels to Shimane to find his penpal. I can't say more as it will spoils the game very much.
7. Value for Full Price : to support the great developers out there, why not? But yaay I get it when it was on sale (again, sorry for supporting full- heartedly but paid half- wallety). Trust me, on full price, this game is very worth it. I bought the bundle (which includes the artbook in it-- and TRUST ME THE ARTBOOK IS GUD).
8. Others : I want to go to Shimane now.

Blog Makeover + Changes
Hello hello!
I just realized that Christmas holiday is coming and very excited about it! Finally, a break from all of paperworks ^^.
Enough chatter now! I will give you a list to easily spot the difference that already been made and some things that I change in the future. Behold, it contains a lot of links!
Are you ready?
1. Tumblr Theme :
I am currently using this awesome FREE tumblr themes from WG- Themes. I used the Elise theme because I wanted to “show off” my profile on the blog. It has so many customizable options. But since the main purpose of this blog is it’s universal, I change into Esten instead. I found that the Esten theme fits better while it’s simpler. I now have no profile section, but you could always contact me from the bottom links of the blog.
Also, instead of colourful background and theme, I now prefer the simple color to emphasize the colourfulness of each posts.
2. The Topics :
I was luckily affiliated as a “partner” in itch.io, an indie games platform. So, I will try to focus more on the game review section. I really am happy to be included in the community!
I will still posts about other things like makeups and snacks. Also the amazing websites I found on the net. But I will try to diligently post every week for game review!
3. Game Review :
I found this obstacle when I copied the Steam game review : I don’t know how to make spoiler hover and to make the table here. So, instead of a full review written here, I will redirect you to my Steam page for full review and screenshots.
Then, I will talk about my own experience on playing the game in this blog. Maybe I will made it a specific section instead of game review. Does “Game Experience” sounds cool enough? It will contains spoilers and opinion after I play some game.
What about non - Steam game review then? Damn, I have just realized that now. Hmm, I’ll stick to the original plan then. But now we will have a new section for my game chatters.
4. Makeup Review :
I plan to only share the decorative cosmetics (limited to coloured products). Because doing skincare review require great patience to record them each week to see any progress. You know I am too lazy busy to do that.
5. Update Time :
Does Saturday good enough for weekly post?
6. Tags :
Now I will limit the tag organizer into just several tags: game/ makeup/ edibles/ figures/ coolwebs (webs I recommend) / other ( mini stories, random post like this). There is a search bar at the bottom now, it’s easier to find using keywords. Good luck, though, on finding things you’re curious about!
Well, that’s all for now. Wish me luck on managing this blog even better!

Snack Review : The Jelly Bean Factory - 36 Gourmet Flavours
Good morning, everyone! (It’s 3 am at my place though).
Still related to the last post, I will review something sweet. Or sour? Mixed flavours? You know it already don’t you?
So this jelly beans are made by Peter and Richard Cullen (triggered much?), a father- son team from Aran Candy Limited. Boy, it was a cute website! The candy collections make my mouth watering too. The main charm of this jelly bean is the taste and free of any known allergens.
PACKAGING (2/3)
Pretty but not different than the rest of candy packagings. At the back of the plastic there is a usual ingredients used, nutritional facts and flavour wheel of each jelly beans.
INGREDIENTS VALUE (2/3)
Now, now. I’m not too picky at small candies ingredients like this one (just tell them you are not interested being food chemicals police unlike in makeup sectionals). So, if the company says it’s edible and free from any known allergens, what could go wrong? (Yes, I am completely aware of candy choking accidents.)
APPEAL (3/3)
Just looking at them colors make my heart throb of excitement! Even if the taste are not the same as the advertised on this wheel, I was still tempted to try! Even though in each packaging might not include of all flavor, I still bought it! See how appealing this jelly beans is!
TASTE (2/3)
Let’s chew and swallow these babies!
After opening the packaging, I categorized the jelly beans based on the similarities of the color and subtly different shape. They look prettier outside their “cage” huh? Could you mistake them for gemstones?
List from the top row, from left to right:
1. Wild Cherry - Strawberry/ Raspberry - Grape - Cola
2. Hawaiian Pineapple - Tangerine - Mango - Pink Grapefruit / Peachy Pie
3. Passion Fruit - Pina Colada - Pear - Butterscotch / Caramel Popcorn / Marshmallow
4. Watermelon - Lemon and Lime - Cinnamon - Mint Sorbet
5. Bubblegum - Candy Floss - Liquorice - Carribbean Coconut
6. Granny Smith Apple - French Vanilla - Cinnamon (again) - Caramel Popcorn/ Marshmallow
Note= bold : strong flavours ; italic : love it ; striketrough : spit it out
VALUE FOR MONEY (3/3)
Do you ever want to savour the flavour of Jelly Belly knock-off with very reasonable price? This is the answer. For only IDR 15.000,00 you could enjoy these babies. Too bad there is no sequel sold in my country. I just got lucky to got them back then.
That is all! Sayonara readers!
