Here's a relatively new OC of mine, Daisie. They are an artichoke demon. I've been designing them for a year and now I feel they are pretty fleshed out, conceptually at least. They'll show up in my comic one of these days. I drew this up for people who wanted to try drawing my characters.

He was basically a grunt worker in his colony, and never got any respect from any of the other mind flayers. One day he found a spellbook among the belongings of a human prisoner and was immediately fascinated by magic. He tracked the human down and demanded she teach him how to use magic, and eventually the two became friends. Cylox eventually turned against his colony to help her escape, but they got caught and he barely escaped himself, losing his eye and one of his tentacles in the process and getting cut off from the Elder Brain, losing all the psionic powers mind flayers normally have.

He was found half-dead in the woods by Marian and taken back to her guild. After a bit of initial panic, they saw that he both had great aptitude for magic and showed no desire to kill any of them. They decided to allow him to stay and work for them; they agreed to supply him with humanoid brains to eat if he helped them out with his magic powers. Now he’s part of Marian and Tal’s party and just kind of aimlessly does whatever they’re doing, hoping that more adventuring experience will help him ammass enough magical power to one day take revenge on his old colony for casting him out and killing his first friend.

Personality-wise, he’s very jaded and irritable, but he also has a lot of inner kindness. He’s a bit of a coward and can be pretty selfish, but it’s easy to convince him to help out when people are in need. He’ll just complain about it a lot. Whenever he’s in public, he uses the Disguise Self spell to make himself look human, and he always wears gloves to disguise his slimy skin, even though they don’t really fit because he only has four fingers. He prefers to speak using only telepathy, so he’s mostly silent when disguised as a human.

I didn't leave enough room at the bottom to do the last panel I originally planned, so I phoned it in. The big panel was only supposed to be a square but it kept growing.

My OC doesn’t have a significant other, can I still participate? Of course! OCkiss is not restricted to romantic kisses - they can be friendly, they can be familiar, they can just be kissing their pet!

Can I use other people’s OCs? If they have stated that their OCs are up for grabs for this event, of course! If you’re not sure, please, please always ask the OC’s owner first.

They’ve have entered a world that knows nothing but one well-known phrase “Let blood be spilled or yours be spilled in front of you”. Little lights of hope shimmer in the dark area of their world, Alturia. The alternate earth in this universe, they will meet people whose pasts are dark and spirits are broken. What will they do?
