was talking to a coworker and realised i could not for the life of me remember his name but i was too embarrassed to ask because we've spoken multiple times so mid-conversation i started concocting a plan to nudge the conversation towards the ID photos on our building passes so that i could be like oh my ID photo is awful haha the camera they use to take these has a real talent for making me look as unphotogenic as possible and then he would say oh yes me too haha everyone says that (because they do) and then i would be able to say well let me see yours it can't be as bad as mine! and he would show me his ID because we are coworkers and why wouldn't he and this would allow me to see his building pass which of course would have his name on it and then i would be able to say well yours is perfectly nice it must be me that's the problem! and then we would have a polite chuckle about it and i would have his name without needing to ask for it and he would be none the wiser and all would be well but then before i could execute this fine plan a little voice in my head went "so this is some light yagami bull shit you are about to pull" which was such a violent reality check it shocked me completely out of my embarrassment and i went "hey im so sorry your name has slipped my mind could you remind me" and he did and it was fine.

I don't think we talk enough about this scene. Because the first time I played it my heart genuinely dropped.

And it's probably not talked about much because it's different in the fan translation (I checked – Sebastian instead says 'That's just a coincidence! I mean... It could happen, right?') but the implications of Eustace thinking that a burn scar like Rosie Ringer's being something commonplace are genuinely awful.

Playing the Magical turnabout for the first time and getting so frustrated bc... Capcom literally had the perfect case to establish Trucy and Apollo knowing about their sibling relationship. The case only gets better if they know. You don't even have to have them find out in the case. Literally what's the point of having the tease in the end credits when you've already got a good place to do it?

So in my version, Trucy and Apollo find out in the interim between AA5 and AA6. The game itself probably wouldn't go into the logistics of this, but I like to imagine Phoenix convinced Thalassa to tell them some time after Clay's death, realising Apollo had essentially lost a large part of his support system.

So we open on case 2, and Apollo simply introduces Trucy as 'A magician, Mr Wright's daughter... And my younger sister, though we didn't know that for a long time.'

Most of the case stays the same, although we get references to their relationship here and there (In the detention centre Apollo says to Trucy something about how he might not be a Gramarye by name, but he is by blood, and so it's also his duty to make sure the family name stays alive. You examine the bouquet in the dressing room and Apollo says it's from their mom, and she sends one every show. He points her out in the photograph. When Retinz first talks about his hatred for the Gramaryes, Apollo notes that 'I probably shouldn't tell him that me and Trucy are siblings')

Then, at the end of the trial, when Retinz is trying to claim he still won against the Gramaryes bc he was able to trick Trucy, either Trucy or Apollo gets to clap back, that no, he didn't. Because Apollo is a Gramarye too.
