So in light of the most recent "Tumblr might die" scare, which so far sounds feasible in the fact that it isn't the usual nonsense, Tumblr is genuinely just barely staffed, I am genuineky worried about losing this place

MORE things i loved about cinderellas castle

the way the live chat for the premire was filled with pure dread during last forever. we were all like "oh theyre SO gonna die arent they"

it was at that point i realized why lauren lopez and mariah rose faith were playing both the stepsisters and ellas best friends

their deaths fucked me up. btw

and even worse the way the trolls wear their skin is SO unsettling. mariah and lauren sell it so well

theres something really terrifying about cinderellas castle when you think about the implications

the fairy queen of sweet dreams. kim whalen i love you so much.

she is horrific in the best way and i loved all of her lines

ash to ash WAS my favorite song and i stand by this with no hesitation. its so fucking peak

not to mention the fairy queen and all the spirits chanting "i shall craft this starlight" during this lyric, and while ella is questioning whether or not shes strong enough to commit to revenge they start to circle in on her and AGH.

sir hop a lot & crumb, my absolute loves. every scene with them is so precious, jon & joey duos never disappoint

tadius oh my GOD he was such a delight in this show. i cant wait to draw him.

ever after. that song killed me dead and revived me all over again, it's like cool as i am reprise levels of earth shattering to me. all of the callbacks and the vocals were immaculate and its also in my top three favorites. again, BRYCE. CHARLES.

ASH TO ASH REPRISE !!!!!! THE LYRIC CHANGES FROM "the last bit of light in the eternal dark" to "the most beautiful light in the eternal dark"

AND !!! "the dying ember of the flame of life" "the living ember of the flame of life"

i really liked these subtle changes because they show how ella is the magic now, by being revived she became living starlight. its not dying out anymore, its inside of her. "behold, MY starlight"

this could also be interpreted as ash to ash foreshadowing how ella will end up dying.

you guys, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, when you are making your npmd song rankings and doing your commentary i am BEGGING YOU to LISTEN to the music underscoring lauren lopez when she’s singing her face off in “just for once.”

i CANNOT watch ONE MORE video where somebody brings up the “cool as i think i am” motif coming back up during “nerdy prudes must die,” “if i loved you reprise,” and “dirty dudes must die” AND NOBODY KNOWS THAT IT IS ALSO IN “JUST FOR ONCE” BECAUSE JEFF BLIM IS A SNEAKY BASTARD AND HE DECIDED TO UNDERSCORE RUTH SCREAMING HER DREAMS WITH HER WHOLE CHEST WITH THE SAME FUCKING MOTIF.
