Went to a Site Based Improvement Committee Meeting and Open House at the elementary. While talking to a friend/teacher, she told me that she's heard three different staff members look at Jesse (while in line), and say to themselves, "That's a Meineke!" 😂😂😂 . . I guess my kids look alike. Anna's is soooooooper excited this morning. Extra is home because I gave up on my fight with him. (He hates his haircut... I took all controllers away for a while), and Jesse was dealing with massive separation anxiety this morning. But we are here at church. I can't properly express how much I love this. She is flawless. When I was a kid, I didn't see many women of color (Iman comes to mind) and no plus size women in cosmetic ads. I probably didn't think much about the lack of ethnic diversity, but I did always think that I would never be thin enough to do anything like that.

This kid did a great job getting the one shot he was missing, so we came here as a reward. When the nurse gave him his shot he didn't cry at all... Just yelled, "Ow! Ow! You backstabbed me!" 😂😂😂 @rebeldragon @toroidalconfection @ezrameineke (at Book Club Cafe)

This is how I spend a childless and spouseless night (though if the hubby were here, I could probably drag him out for this, but he'd be doing it for me). It is funny. Breathtaking. Sad. So much more. I ugly cried throughout the middle. I had read the book "Identical Stranger" by Elyse Schein and Paula Bernstein, and they are in the film briefly. I hope I'm not spoiling anything, but it also talks about an issue close to my heart - mental illness. #threeidenticalstrangers #mentslillness #documentary (at Angelika Film Center - Plano)
