You know, I kind of only just remembered that Tumblr was a thing…. *sighs*
I’ve been away from this for… I don’t even know how long, at this point.
Not sure if I want to stay for rp, either. Mostly because the majority of people I rp’d with are… as far as I can tell… no longer around. Most of the people I follow haven’t been active in 3-4 years.
Not to mention the fact that I had a LOT of main blogs and side blogs, most of which I don’t think I can log into anymore, either due to not remembering the email I used for them, or wondering whether those email accounts even still exist. Hmm…
Anyway, on the EXTREMELY off chance that anyone hops back on just to check things out… I guess I’ll be here.

New BLOG!
Okay, so I’ve been pretty quiet the past couple weeks, but that’s mostly because I was making blogs for my dragonborns.
If anyone remembers my crazy idea to have a dragonborn for every race? Well, I’m canceling that idea because that’s too crazy, even for me. For one thing, I just can’t make all the characters truly diverse and different from one another. This is mostly due to something that happened, from which I gained new information. And now I know I could never accurately portray a certain character type, so that has to be tossed for that reason.
Not to mention the number of characters there would have been on that blog alone. A couple dozen, at the very least. For a side blog, that is a LOT… and I much prefer having blogs for single characters. So, I took the characters I definitely wanted to save, and moved them onto new blogs.
Only one of these new blogs is a full blog (from which I can follow people back), the others are side blogs to that one. Still, this is progress for me. I’ve also decided I am going to subtly promote the new Miraak blog, just to make things easier, since I’m hardly over here anymore (but I am going to be highly selective of who I follow on his blog). Anyway, the DB blogs are as below.

[Continued]
Azariel was far less enthused about the situation they were in. If that prophecy mentioned in the scroll didn’t have anything to do with Auriel’s Bow, she probably wouldn’t have gotten involved. She’d have let the Dragonborn deal with it, though even now it appeared Serana was doing all the work. Typical, the bastard refused to actually do anything.
Glancing at the title of the book she’d grabbed, she paused at the half-growled, half-whispered comment, her eyes turning to the mer beside her. He was unfamiliar, not like any other elf she’d met in Skyrim so far, and that was kind of curious. Not that she was curious enough to ask him what kind of elf he was. Instead, she ran a hand over the cover of the book before she opened it to read, replying just as quietly.
“Believe me, if I didn’t have to be here, I wouldn’t be.” She couldn’t help but mutter something about Auriel’s Bow before she actually focused on reading.

Who would have thought that being attacked by a vampire would lead her to helping another Vampire stop a prophecy about Vampires conquering the sun? Azariel certainly couldn’t make heads or tails of the events leading up to their trip to the College of Winterhold. Still, they needed to find out more about the Elder Scrolls, and that meant seeking someone knowledgeable about it. Dexion hadn’t been any more help since reading the scroll back at the fort.
And of course there was the Dragonborn. The man was constantly chatting things up with his housecarl, who clearly didn’t want to be here. Not to mention the man seemed more than willing to let other people do his job for him. Azariel couldn’t stand him, he was perhaps the worst Nord she’d ever met.
So there they were, entering the Arcaneum, with Azariel being the one to do all the work. At least Serana was more helpful.
‘Ey! Snow Baby! Find out about the Elder Scrolls would ya?” Azariel glared back at the Dragonborn, ice blue eyes narrowed in distaste.
“First, don’t ever call me Snow Baby again, or you won’t live to see tomorrow. Second, do some research yourself for once! I’m tired of carrying your burden for you!” Azariel snapped, storming off to go take a seat. She was still fuming as she grabbed a book and sat down, not really caring who it was next to.

@underground-alchemist
In all honesty, Azariel was glad to finally get away from the Dragonborn. That bloody Nord was so stubborn, and never really accomplished anything on his own. He was always taking credit for other people’s work, and that really pissed her off. Not to mention he was an ass in his own right, and that only made matters worse. That she had even convinced him to give up Auriels’ Bow after all was said and done was a miracle in and of itself. She may as well settle for that, right?
Wrong. She wanted him to understand he couldn’t get away with that kind of attitude. One of these days, someone would put a knife in his back, and she was certain it would come from someone closest to him.
As it was, she had the Bow, and she’d stolen the Shield from his pack when he went off to do... whatever. So now she had them both, though she didn’t really have any use for the shield. Still, maybe he’d learn something from it eventually, but she doubted it.
It was only a few weeks later, she was hunting game in the area known as The Reach. Those people known as the Forsworn were annoying, but she’d managed to avoid trouble with them so far. Still, it was a dangerous area, and she was constantly on guard, even as she was hunting. An arrow took down two rabbits and Azariel went to go collect them when she noticed someone not too far off, though their face was obscured by a hood.

Okay, it’s been a while since I’ve done this here, but Azariel is still eager to meet people... and kick some ass. So like this post for a starter, and I’ll get to them when I can.

Azariel started screaming at me last night to do something with her, and if I’m coming back into this fandom, I can’t ignore her. I only have a few followers left who are actually still active, so if you want a starter, just ask. In the meantime, if people could reblog this so I can find more active partners, that’d be awesome as well.

taloswatchoveryou:
“I could do with a tankard of mead, really,” one of the Stormcloak soldiers announced as the group of them kept a decent walking pace on the path that would bring them home if only they stayed on it and followed the right signs. The comment earned a few mutters and chuckles of approval and agreeing. Ulfric himself nodded as well with a hint of a smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
The Jarl found himself in the middle of the considerably small group of his personal guards travelling along with him. He had been visiting Jarl Laila in Riften, and he had brought only a few men and women with him, since his army had long conquered the Rift and managed to keep out the Empire ever since. It had been a quick visit to check up on her, and they had packed very lightly so that there was a smaller risk that the Thieves Guild would sneak by and steal from the Rebellion leader. It was a miracle that nothing had been stolen, apart from a single coin purse – quite a big one, but still just /one/ – one of the guards had forgotten to hide away properly.
Now, they found themselves on their way back to Windhelm. A trip that should not take long, neither would be too tiring. Nonetheless, even the Jarl had to admit he longed for a nice, big tankard of cold mead as he would sit in the throne room and dine with his comrades. But they were not home just yet, and there was still the thread of wildlife on the road. Yet none of the guards seemed to be concerned about that. They just continued to talk, laugh and jest as the group continued its way home.
A thud then, and the sound of a startled guard gasping in surprise. Some of the Stormcloaks bumped into each other, others immediately responded by drawing their weapons as they noticed exactly what had caused the uncomfortably familiar sound. It was an arrow, lodged in the road in front of the feet of the guards that had been walking up front. Several pairs of eyes scanned their surroundings, others aimed their swords and arrows at the road ahead, and some turned to face the part of the journey that was already behind them. For a few moments, there was no sound but that of more soldiers, including the Jarl himself, drawing their weapons. Then there were voices. Aggressive voices. Voices declaring battle and belligerence. High Elves. Thalmor.
The sight of Thalmor struck hatred in the hearts of the Stormcloaks, and even more so in the heart of Ulfric Stormcloak himself. He held a fierce grudge against them ever since the Great War, and now they had come to take his own home as well. He would not allow that. He would fight. And so he did, alongside his soldiers, lodging his war axe into Thalmor chests and heads whilst dodging dangerous spells and swift daggers. Arrows rained down, but there was no telling whether it were his soldiers’ or the Thalmor had stationed elven archers up ahead. It mattered not right now. The battle was too alive to avert his eyes from to check.
Dammit, there’s another one! Ulfric could hear a Thalmor’s voice not far from him, and he turned to look for a brief moment. An arrow was stuck in the elf’s armour, no doubt piercing it and scraping his skin, if not puncturing it. The elf turned to face his attacker – and then Ulfric saw. It was not one of his own men. It was another elf, a womer. She was quick to end the Thalmor soldier’s pathetic battle with a knife Ulfric vaguely recognised. There was no time to tell for sure, because there was another approaching her, swinging at the womer with a heavy looking mace. The Thalmor soldier that had been forced to the ground and saved by his comrade never was able to get away; Ulfric lunged forward, his war axe swinging down, hitting the High Elf in the face. What was left of it as the Jarl withdrew his weapon was not a pretty sight, but there was no time to either admire or disapprove of his work, for the next soon approached, causing Ulfric and the unknown, white-haired elf to stand and fight back-to-back.
She unfortunately hadn’t been able to keep the knife in her hand when she rolled away, but she could retrieve it later so long as she survive this fight. Azariel dodged the mace again by jumping to the side, briefly catching sight of the man who killed the agent she’d tackled. Well, at least that one wouldn’t be getting back up again. Not with his face caved in, anyway. Her bow already slung over her back now.
Ducking beneath another swing of the mace, she drew her sword from its’ sheath and parried the next attack, pushing the enemy back. When she felt someone behind her, she paused, but already knew it wasn’t one of the Thalmor, otherwise she would be in pain. Or dead. Reassured by the fact that she was fighting with allies, she pressed the attack on the agent trying to kill her with the mace. With her free hand, she grabbed the shaft of the elven weapon as she stabbed forward with her sword, lightning quick. The mer looked surprised when the blade pierced through his armor, and his gut. Azariel grinned at him, pulling the blade back out, and pushing him away with the mace he let go of.
“That’s two down.” She said, gripping the hilt of the mace and tossing it at the back of another ones’ head. It struck the helmet, instantly causing the agent to become disoriented. The Stormcloak soldiers nearby jumped him, and Azariel noticed two more agents running at her and her current... ally. She drew her bow off her back, notching an arrow quickly, her sword still in her hand. The arrow caught one of them in the neck, but the other was still coming, sword aimed for the man behind her. She caught the blade against her own and deflected the strike, holding him off as another Stormcloak came over and killed the agent.
The fighting was pretty intense, but there were still more Thalmor than even she’d realized. Then again, she hadn’t exactly tried to find out how many of them there were. Still, at least this battle wouldn’t turn into a Stormcloak massacre. That was something she wanted to avoid, especially given her own hatred of the Thalmor, she wouldn’t allow them to get their way.

aurielswaywardson:
“It is not the stubbornness, it is the complete and utter disrespect and entitlement.” Manarion replied, a low growl edging into his deep, rumbling voice. “That would depend upon you and your behavior.” He said, a warning coming into his rough tones.
There were many words that came to mind when he spoke, and Azariel wanted nothing more than to speak them. But that could end up condemning her cause, so she bit them back, instead turning her gaze away from the massive mer before her. “Yeah, okay.” She managed to spit out, instead of arguing the point.
Of course she didn’t like the warning behind his last words, feeling like it was meant as an all out threat. Still, any more bad reactions from her could result in her being caught and tortured by the Thalmor. Azariel took a deep breath and let it out in a harsh sigh. She really hoped this could be over with quickly, and without her having any more visions.

Ah yes, the finished product. I finally figured out the amulet, and even added a better glimpse of the Talos themed knife she carries. She doesn’t always wear armor that showcases the hidden knife, however, so I may try drawing her again in a set of armor that hides it.

aurielswaywardson:
“And neither do I trust you.” Manarion said with a snort, a gruff sort of growl breaking from his throat. He retracted his hand as the womer made the effort to stand, moving to straighten up himself. His armor clinked together, and the joints of his knees and vertebrae in his back clicked together as the ancient elf moved, slowly and purposefully. “Very well, Nomad.” The aged mer said, lips twisting ever so slightly upwards into a faint smile and his eyes narrowing as he watched her with unnerving amber optics, before he smiled upon finally gaining her name. “I shall stop treating you like a child, when you stop acting like one.”
There were so many things about this mer that Azariel didn’t like. She didn’t like feeling so inferior, least of all to this old mer. But she said none of this aloud, watching him warily. “Being stubborn does not make me a child.” She added after a moment, her expression still dark with distrust. She really hoped he couldn’t see right through her. She did NOT want to end up answering to the Thalmor.
“So, what now?” Azariel asked, carefully placing her bow over her shoulder. It was incredibly risky for her now, so she needed to be extra careful.

Another? Paarthurnax landed heavily, ancient bones creaking beneath the armored plating of his scales and his joints clicking as he approached, head held purposefully low to seem smaller then what he was.
He had no desire to scare the womer, but seeing what he was… That was highly unlikely.
“Drem, peace, zuruniik. I am not here to bring you aax, harm.”
Azariel wasn’t sure what she was expecting to find in her travels, but this was definitely not on the list. She had seen a large dark shadow, and been completely prepared to fend for her life. A hand held an arrow in her quiver, her muscles tense as the dragon landed on the ground before her. Pale eyes wide with wonder, but still wary as the dragon spoke to her.
The Snow Elf took a deep breath, releasing her hold on the arrow, slowly allowing herself to relax. She stood taller, both curious and still wary. Her heart was pounding in her chest, still surprised by the suddenness of this encounter.
“I can’t say I expected this.” Azariel said slowly. “I’d heard rumors about the dragons returning, but...” She wasn’t sure what else to say, but she definitely hadn’t expected a dragon to talk to her. “How do I know for sure you won’t attack me?” She asked.

One last minor update before I go... Azariel’s blog is all good to go! The theme has been changed, links are more organized, and her profile is a bit better than what I had for her previously. Everything is properly linked at least.
So, I’m logging out now. My brain needs a break.

Against the Dominion || Azariel & Ulfric
It had been a relatively slow day for hunting. The deer in the area were wary of people, and always seemed to sense her coming, despite all her best efforts to remain quiet. After several hours, Azariel packed her things and gave up, figuring that she would have to wait until tomorrow to get some new fur pelts. They were best for repairing her armor, but whatever she was left over with could be sold.
The Snow Elf had been heading out of the deeper woods when she heard voices ahead. The area had been clear of people only hours ago, but she didn’t want to assume anything. Carefully, she set her pack on the ground, drawing an arrow from her quiver, she stepped lightly, tense with each passing moment. Someone laughed harshly, and she thought she heard words spoken in Aldmeris... High Elves.
Her pale blue eyes narrowed angrily, for the voices most likely belonged to Thalmor agents. Had they been tracking her? Did they know she was passing through this way? If that was the case, she would have no choice but to fight or find a longer way around them. That latter plan was far less favorable. She tried to get closer, to listen in on their conversation. What she overheard was something about the Stormcloaks. An ambush then...
That wouldn’t happen on her watch. Azariel began climbing the nearest tree, and peered out through the leaves. She could see the Stormcloaks coming up the road, completely unaware of the ambush waiting for them. Quickly, she notched an arrow to her bow and shot it down into the road, aiming carefully and timing it so that the arrow landed in the ground in front of one of them. She couldn’t tell who, but from where she was, she could see some of the soldiers reaching for their weapons.
That Thalmor below became aware of this as well, and cursed their bad luck before they began their own attack. Azariel could pick off a few from her current position, but it was so much more interesting to fight them on the ground. And so she descended the tree, ran back to where she dropped her things, scooping the pack over her free shoulder before she headed back for the road. She could hear the battle now, as she aimed and shot another arrow, catching one of the Thalmor by surprise.
“Dammit, there’s another one!” The agent cried out, turning to face her. He cast a bolt of lightning that struck her in the shoulder before she tackled the bastard to the ground.
Azariel grabbed a small knife from the belt strapped to her right thigh. “Hey, recognize this?” She held up the knife, shaped in the likeness of the symbol of Talos. The mer’s eyes widened before she stabbed the knife down into his chest. But she didn’t get to finish him off before she had to dodge the mace of another, causing her to roll off her target.
