🌍✨ A Voice from Gaza: Fighting for Hope ❤️‍🩹

Hi, my name is Mosab , and I’m from Gaza. Life here has been harder than I could ever imagine, but today I’m sharing my story with hope in my heart, because your kindness has already given us so much strength.

This journey hasn’t been easy. The war has taken 25 family members from us—25 beautiful souls we loved deeply. Their laughter, their presence, their love… all of it is gone, leaving behind memories that are both precious and painful. Every day, I carry the weight of their loss, but I also carry their spirit, which gives me the strength to keep going.

Our Journey So Far

When I first reached out, I couldn’t have imagined we’d make it this far. Your support has been a light in these difficult times, and we are so deeply grateful for every single contribution.

But the road ahead is still challenging. Every day, we’re reminded of how much we’ve lost and how much we still need to rebuild.

Here’s what life in Gaza looks like for my family right now:

Finally finished this 3 part design progression for Hiba! Going through how she looked like during the first part of the story, when she still lived with her father and was used as a mannequin to display his jewelry wares to part 2 when she was given to the Snake Charmers and branded with a seal that changed her entire life. Ending with part 3 which is the time we see the most of, after she runs away and travels the land to figure out how to use her newfound powers.

This took me sooo long and I am sooo excited to be done with this, I'm also just really proud of myself I think it turned out amazing and I can't wait to get to work on other pieces now!!

Finally!! It's done!! The expression sheet for my story's main character, Hiba! I'm so happy to finally be done with this it took me soo long

Hiba travels around the world, searching for answers, uncovering dark truths about the magic surrounding her, all while trying to get rid of a curse that's been placed on her body. She doesn't have much time to smile and be in peace after what happened so those are her most common expressions.

(there was supposed to be a full body in this illustration as well but I just really wanted to move on to other works for this project already lol you can see the sketch for it in my previous posts though!)

RAAaAaaA I FINISHED!! Concept art/exploration sheet for one of the main characters of my story idea,,, She doesn't have a name yet, but what I can say is that she's a princess of a kingdom where the common people have forgotten that magic is a very real thing and isn't just superstitions. Her family keeps her hidden in a high tower and she's also a priestess of the Old Gods, performing rituals up to her royal family's standards ✨

(We are ignoring tumblr killing the quality)
