Drop Dead Diva talaga di ba?
I have a fetish for US tv series. I think this is because of my early exposure to these kind of television shows (dahil na rin sa mga pinsan kong mas matanda pa sa akin na baliw din sa mga ganitong shows). Una kong sinubaybayan ay ang Dawson's Creek which starred Katie Holmes when I was like 10 years old. I even watched Melrose' Place then. Hahaha! Going late-twentyish, nabaliw naman ako sa CSI Las Vegas, then the medical tv series naman na House, MD. Di ba kahit internal hemorrhage na ang inabot ko sa pag-intindi ng mga highfalutin medical terms, go pa rin sa pagwa-watch nito (syempre, dahil na rin sa eccentric, cold, naive and mean character ni Dr. House)! Of course, sumubaybay din ako ng mga walang kwentang tv series tulad ng Heroes na alam nating kalokohan lang naman. Maliban na lang talaga kung mutated ka! Hahaha! And then here comes Prison Break! Gahd! Makalaglag panty (at brief din) naman kasi ang lead character dito na si Wentworth Miller aka Michael Scofield! He's so hot, or is it just me? Hahaha! Have you ever noticed how he looks into one's eye? It's so like you get this tagos-to-the-bones-kilig feeling! Char. Ultimate crush ko kasi sya although there are a lot of rumors about his gender preference. But seriously, who cares? Natapos ang kahibangan ko hindi na nagkaroon ng panibagong season ito. Hanggang season 4 lang sila. I don't even get the logic why did Fox TV axed the show. That's sad. But moving on, eto ka! May bago akong kinababaliwan na tv series ngayon. Drop Dead Diva and title ng "lifetime tv series" ito. Isa syang legal-comedy-drama-fantasy thing na series. Tungkol ito sa isang dumb blonde na pumasok sa katawan ng isang mashuba pero super brainy na lawyer. Imagine the mix-up of characters (fashionistang mataba pero matalinong lawyer) which I think makes the show even more interesting! At ang guardian angel na si Fred, di ba? Hot din sya, huh! Char. Basta, maganda sya at nakakaaliw syang panoorin. Very educational and it'll make you feel more like of a matalino din. Arte! Sa ngayon, tapos ko nang panoorin ang Season 4 at inaabangan ko na ang Season 5 nito. Super egzoyting! I can't wait to watch it na. And if there's one good thing that I learned from Jane Bingum (and Deb) is that when she said this line about being fat. And to quote, sabi nya:
“Fat is only pejorative when we let places say that being fat somehow makes us less of a person.”
Bongga yun, di bah? :)
