when i was young i would hear people say stuff about young puppies or traumatized dogs like “aww he’s still learning how to be a dog”

and my autistic nonhuman brain was like oh? species can be learned? species can be taught? species can be earned?

and i have never been the same. i was still learning how to be human. because i wasn’t human when i was born

is it me or anyone else is uncomfortable seeing how people LOVE werewolves and saying things like " I wish it was real, I would be one so bad" because it only reminds me how they actually hate us in reality. Like, hey, we're animals, some of us also mixed with their humanity, we're like here and we're hated. And I'm sure even if the werewolves with real ability to shapeshift would exist, they would be demonised so much. Ofcourse people can love werewolves!! It's okay!! I'm just upset that they in general don't like alterhumanity. It reminds me of wolfblood scene with girl with T-shirt "I love werewolves" and maddie's mother saying to that girl "oh you like werewolves? They don't like you **growl** " (in this scene the girl tried to rob maddie).
