Here's another one I meant to post on here yesterday.... Nine years ago (from August 6th, 2025), I attended my first NKOTB concert. It was the Mixtape Festival 2016. My best friend showed me the lineup, and when I saw NKOTB on the list, I thought, "It's time." I've been a fan since 1989, but until then, I've never seen them in concert.

It was an amazing show. I heard the hits I've known since I was knee-high & learned a bunch of new songs (it was the first time I EVER heard "Block Party"). There were even fireworks at the end. It was easily one of my favorite shows.

I figured it'd be a fun time, and then, I'd be back to mostly attending WWE events. But something changed that night. That spark from my childhood was relit. When I walked out of the Hersheypark Stadium, I just knew I had to see them again. My heart was so full, but yet, I wanted more. YouTube became my best friend, and I caught up to everything I had missed over the years. The spark was there again. Maybe it never even went out to begin with, not if I can still love these guys even more than I did the first time around.

They say you're one decision away from a different life. That doesn't always mean HUGE decisions. Sometimes, it's as simple as attending a concert. And sometimes, I think about life if I hadn't decided to attend the Mixtape Festival '16. It just doesn't feel right. It actually feels a little boring without all that music and confetti.

To my five brothers from Boston, thank you for coming back into my life. As I always say, you've added confetti to my life that I didn't know was missing. 🎉🎶❤️

I meant to post this on here yesterday (it's already on the Instagram page), but I didn't have the chance to do so until now.

On August 4th, 2021, four years ago from today, I attended my fourth NKOTB show at the Merriweather Post Pavilion. This was the show I needed.

Okay, I ALWAYS say that I need a New Kids show, but when I say I needed this show, I mean I NEEDED THIS SHOW. Long story short, it was during one of the hardest times of my life.

For two hours, I sang along to my favorite songs. I danced under the confetti. I was close to 4/5 of the group. For two hours, I could JUST focus on being a Blockhead.

I don't even think those boys know how much they were there for me that night. This show came at just the right time, and I'm so grateful. 🎉❤️

Danny, Donnie, Joe, Jon, and Jordan, thank you for being a bright spot during a time when I needed it the most. I've attended two shows and one M&G since then, and THIS SHOW is still one of my favorites because of the timing alone (never mind that it was such a fun show). You could say that this show has sentimental value to me. 💕

I love you guys so much. 🤖❤️

Last week, I made a post showing some love to Donnie. This week, I want to show some love to the wonderful Danny Wood. 💚

Let me take a personal stance on this post — Danny was the first New Kid to ever interact with me online, following me on Twitter and DM’ing me back within the same day or so. And to be honest, he was probably the first to interact with this page, as he’s “liked” several posts in the past.

He’s the first New Kid I ever met. The first time was in 2022, during “Tonight.” He tried twice to give me a selfie, but I got overwhelmed and my brain went into dial-up mode (sorry, Danny! But thank you!). The second time was at my meet and greet last year. He was the first in the line, so he broke the ice, greeting me, hugging me, and getting happy over the “Block Party” bracelet I gave him. Danny, that helped more than you may think. Danny’s a gem and a sweetheart, and he's absolutely talented. I would LOVE to attend a Solo Wood show someday.

So, today’s post is for you, Danny. Thank you for everything you've done and continue to do! You’re an amazing person, and I hope you never change! Love yoooou! ❤️

Thinking of my boys and how hard they’ve been working to put on an amazing show in Vegas. While attending their Vegas Residency isn’t in the cards for me, I’ve enjoyed the photos and video clips, and I can only hope a small bit will be included in their next tour (and if not, I know they’ll come up with something great, as always). Regardless, I’m so proud of my boys, and I’m glad they get to knock another dream off their list. I love you guys, and you deserve this so much! ❤️💚💙🧡💛

To those who attended the June and July shows, I hope you had a blast. For those attending in November and February, I also hope you have a blast! Live it up! 🎉❤️🎶

Don't you know that the time has arrived?!! Step By Step (35th Anniversary) is out NOW! I plan on getting my copy from Target, but I have it playing on Spotify as I type this!

I decided to celebrate by sharing a picture of the cassette I bought from the thrift store a few years ago. It sits on my desk, right on top of my Jordan Knight Funko. I know for a fact I listened to my sister's copy growing up, until my parents bought me the CD (as well as the No More Games/The Remix Album) back in the early 90s. I think those two were the first CDs *I* owned, all by myself.

Happy 35th Anniversary to one of my favorite albums and a huge chunk of my childhood, Step By Step! 🎶💚🧡❤️💙💛🎶
