Nikoloz Ramazashvili Title: Violation of traffic rules at the cost of life The main thing: at any moment we will encounter the fact of violation of traffic safety rules, both by pedestrians and drivers, which can end tragically. With this project I would like to address the public, traffic safety rules have been developed for our own lives and their observance is essential because either we will harm ourselves or others; I would also like to address the government, there are many more laws to be developed in this regard, even for mopeds. Violation of traffic safety rules by them is still not punished by law, the same can be said about new electric scooters, etc. Sources: 1) Shota Balarjishvili, 26 years old, journalist. 2) Giorgi Elarjia, 24 years old, manager of the market "Nikora". 3) Giorgi Tsilosani, 19 years old student. 4) Nino Koridze, 45 years old, Smart Taxi service specialist. 5) Gela Kvashilava, Founder of the Partnership for Road Safety Foundation. 6) Nino Sulamanidze, 48 years old, film critic. 7) MIA Statistics Plan: 1)People's Attitude Towards Traffic Safety Laws 2)Blaming Each Other for Violations of the Rules 3)Statistics of Injuries Increasing Annually Due to Violations of the Rules 4)Ideas for Developing New Laws 5) Violations of Traffic Safety Rules Due to Lack of Time 6) Traffic Safety Violations of the rules at the expense of the opposite party
Our respondent Gela kvashilava told us about his opinion on drive safety “The problem is the attitude of the state towards the issue. I often have to argue and reason about the frequency of accidents. For example, some officials are ready to answer: "We are paving roads," "We are building overpasses," "We are setting up one-way traffic," but the death toll is still rising. From this, only one conclusion can be drawn that there is no sign of equality between the implementation of infrastructure projects and the reduction of road traffic accidents. Laying a road, arranging a traffic light, or overpass does not mean reducing the number of road accidents. The government will not get results with this. Unfortunately, at this stage there is no state will to improve management in this regard. This is the situation today. For example, there is a tree that is covered by a traffic light. The tree belongs to one of the services of the municipality, A traffic light to the second service and an unruly environment where the departmental "I do not touch" principle operates. All services in turn are true, but the number of accidents is increasing. The point is that there is no instant coordination between these services. Therefore, a national traffic strategy should be developed urgently, within which a rapid response team will function, which in each case will respond immediately and then intervene. For example, even if such groups are set up in local self-governments to put a black dot on the scene of an accident, analyze the situation and call on another agency to take timely measures, it will be much more coordinated to create a safe environment in our country. I think this weakest parliament will not be able to do anything now, However, road safety should become the number one challenge for the newly elected parliament. There is no need for a new agency and a bureaucratic apparatus. Simply put, there should be a rapid response team within the existing staff grid, coordinated by the city vice-mayor. He will be specifically responsible for this matter. It is good if it starts from Kutaisi and sets an example for other cities. Kutaisi is the first place where pedestrians are given a road. I will be happy if all the cities compete with each other, where there are more polite drivers. Tightening regulations alone will not be effective. One knows that imprisonment and sometimes life imprisonment are threatened for murder, however murders still occur. Also on traffic violations. We know that the law will impose fines on us, but sometimes we still exceed the speed limit.
George Tsilosani He’s 19 years old he was born in Tbilisi georgia. He’s a very communicative calm person who loves to drive a lot around cities. George is a quick learner and he got his drivers license at the age of 17, since then he’s driving his car every single day. As we said George loves driving very much so before he had his drivers license he was learning theoretical subjects and took about 250 tests and also his father was teaching him how to drive. So after taking about 300 tests including theoretical impractical he passed there drivers test and he got himself a drivers license. As we know today George is driving very well he’s a great driver and he respects all the laws of driver safety but he had several incidents like car crashes and also driving on a sidewalk. After talking to George she told us his one incident of almost being crashed and I can tell you what he told us.
“ it was the middle of the night I was driving very slowly I was protecting all the loss of driver safety my belt was on my headlights were on I was driving 40 km/h and I was on the very thin road but the half of this role was being closed because of the technical issues so where I was going There was Some little space where only one car could pass So I continue driving saw another car approaching me from The front and if we trust the laws of driving it was my road it was my turn to pass but that other car increased speed about 60 or 70 km/h and by the way that’s illegal and I didn’t know what to do because left there was a technical problem of the road it was close on my right there was a sidewalk in front of me there was that speeding car so I didn’t want to crash this car and I continue driving plus are used brakes and I turn the wheel on the right and got myself on to the sidewalk and thanks to God There was no one on the sidewalk and that speeding car didn’t even slow down and can you continue driving and live that area.
So I have bad experiences about this drive safe too but still I remain calm and I’m still driving safely and legally and I will tell other drivers that they don’t have to speed no matter white no matter how much time they have because their life is on the line and I think that life is the most valuable thing in the world. “
