mrbenwinston: So many people sharing great @onedirection memories as it’s their 10 year anniversary today, so I wanted to share one of my favourites. We were in Rio, and as you can see from the second picture, the fans were so incredible they didn’t leave the hotel entrance for 4 days. But we all wanted to go and see the Christ the Redeemer statue. So we sat in the back of the hotel’s bread delivery van. No air or space for the trip. As the van left the hotel and drove through the crowds, no one knew the boys were inside. Travelling and working with those 5 brilliant boys was such an amazing privilege. Loved every minute of that life changing time. #10yearsofonedirection

kristie, no one else will understand this the way you will, but i refuse to believe niall (who had every tour date and location memorized for years) didnt know their 10 year anniversary when he was asked recently on the zach sang show

yeah for real haha although it’s possible that he just hasn’t thought about this stuff for a while cos he’s been focused on his solo stuff. i mean... the ONLY reason he might lie about that would be bc he’s trying not to get asked about it too much. but that only makes sense if they were doing something interesting lol.... which posting music videos isn’t rly 😂😂😂but this is all making me so nostalgic lol

@ post hiatus fans: what we’ve went through the past couple of days is exactly how every day felt back when the band was active. like the constant clowning, hitting post limit, insistent anger, widespread confusion, shady bullshit, cryptic behavior, lack of sleep/fearful of sleep, completely exhausted 24-7, anxiety through the roof, our brain leaking, and never-ending love........ every single day for 5 years these couple of days were reality. and i do not know how we did it night after night. we were bionic.

i did not once ever have a full night’s sleep from 2013-2015. nothing new to say that hasn’t already been said but it was so fucking fun being a one direction fan while they were still releasing albums/touring. can’t even put it into words or describe it. u were constantly terrorized while also having the best time of ur life.

The boyband of my time, One Direction, they just… they just had fun, they’re just normal guys, but terrible, terrible dancers. Happy 10 Years of One Direction!
