he’s at it again..

Lance : “you know, I really, REALLY miss my family.”

Hunk : “yeah I get you.”

Lance : “I mean yeah, space is like really fun! But without them..?”

Hunk : “I know dude, I miss my family all the time, especially my Abuela.”

Lance : “what if they think I’m dead?? How long have we been out in space? Hunk what if-”

Hunk (gives Lance a hug and pats him on the back)

Hunk : “I know you miss your earth family, but your space family will always look out for you ok? They know you’re still alive, I promise”

Lance : “thanks man”

Hunk : “of course buddy”

(Pidge busts into the room and starts yelling) 

Pidge : “GUESS WHO WE CAUGHT TRYING TO STEAL THE RED LION!”

Lance & hunk : “WHAT?!?!”

Pidge : “PRINCE LOTOR”

Lance : “AND NOBODY TOLD ME??”

Hunk : “is he locked up?

Pidge : “yeah, Keith is interrogating him as we speak”

Lance : “is he safe?”

Pidge : “shit, I don’t know, and frankly don’t have time to bother with either of them”

Lance : “Pidge! That’s not reassuring at all!”

Pidge : “hey don’t blame me for the lack of info, it was the mice who told me.”

Hunk : “well, that’s checks out, come on Lance.”

Lance : “for what- huh?”

Hunk : “we’re going to go check on Keith.”

Lance : “oohhh, yeah.”

(Hunk and Lance get up and leave to go find Keith while pidge is left standing in the room by herself)

Pidge : “OH, ASK HIM IF HE KNOWS HES A BARBARIC WAR CRIMINAL WHO DOESN’T EVEN KNOW HOW TO COLOR CODE HIS MISSION PLANS”

Pidge : “it’s distasteful, like animals. But then again I wouldn't put it past Lotor.”

Pidge : “ok ok, he’s a 10 but he has mommy and daddy issues”

Lance : “10”

Pidge : “how come?”

Lance : (points to Keith) 

Pidge : “checks out”

a little tribute I wrote that fits with Keith

Keith: “What is a family? Growing up I had a twisted distorted idea of what a family was, or at-least what my family was. Family. Such an odd word. A family is generally a group of people that share a list name and nothing more, from what I’ve seen, some parents don’t know who their children are, the children have their own lives outside of their families. These children have children, that have children, that have children, that have children. I never knew my family. They are all strangers. But not every family. I don’t have the ones I’ve made. The family I chose. The family you chose is always better, Lance, pidge, hunk, Allura, shiro, even Coran . I love that family. But i also love Krolia, and my dad. I love them just as much. Some times I wish that I was old enough, wise enough, rich enough, to start somewhere new with my chosen family. They say that blood is thicker than water, but blood rots over time and decays, water is everlasting and permanent. It always drains, but always refills 10x as much as before. Family. What does that mean to you? Family means a group of people who come together and share their experiences, hard times, lies and truths, sickness and suffering, and their joys and fears, never judging one another and always looking out for each other. A family is a unit of those who have your best interests in mind and your love in their hearts. A family. Is what I want. Not relatives. I want a family. I want my own unit. My own group of people who understand the value of my life. Family.”

Lotor: “and why are you telling me this?”

Keith: “because you are locked up and can’t do anything to stop me…. Your also a decent listener.”
