So who wants to see some ancient art?

Cuz I found really old things behind the fridge.

These were scrapped sprites I was going to use on a personal practice project. They’re over 4 years old and these little buttholes outlived 3 computers. At this point rather than hold them back on the faint hope I can use them for their intended purposes, I thought it might be best to share them before something happens that sends them into the shadow realm for good.

They were originally based around practicing on making a raising sim based on the then new-ish Eevee Tamagotchi (and that was a huge inspiration on their style, but they’re different enough in both the sprites and other ways it’s more based on than a remake), and they would’ve had a lot of other sprites planned in the set that life happened, tech troubles also happened, and I just didn’t get around to. Things like all of them sleeping, different eggs with even more palette variants, and even them wearing little hats and clothes based on different classes for mini-game purposes (popstar was among those classes and that’s why Popstar Eevee, something in the tama, isn’t here). You could also breed them, and while the base egg is entirely random, shiny eggs are guaranteed shinies, and specific patterned eggs guaranteed specific variants (with their own guaranteed shinies to match).

Lately I’ve been busy with other projects that makes the chance coming back to this one somewhere between “*dial-up internet static*” and “*iunno noise* 🤷” but they survive this long so they may as well see the light of day anyways.
