Okay, this is really really stupid, but I remember reading a fic on ao3 where nico is just, scared of a washing machine. I think it was pipers. I don't remember anything else, other than the fact it was probably ly a solangelo fic (cuz that's literally all a read lol) anyways, if you can't find it, can you recommend some other fics where nico is confused with the latest generation and tech? Nico's Italian right? So if he were to naturally swear it would most definitely be in italian. But he's also from the 1930s/40s so he wouldnt swear, he was raised better than that.

But Will is a country boy (even if Austin, Texas isn't very country (or so I've heard, I'm British, I have no idea), Naomi is and you can't tell me other wise) and has lived in camp with little to no adult guidance for ages. Sooo he should have a very potty mouth.

So while Will cusses like a sailor, you have his boyfriend saying 'fiddle sticks' in italian.

Unrelated note: Did you know that the italian equivalent of by golly/by Jove is giurabbacco which, I kid you not, literally translates to 'I swear by Bacchus'.

obsessed with the idea of nico and will's social roles reversing when theyre together.

its well established that will is naturally introverted, forced to be an extrovert, while nico is naturally an extrovert, forced to be an introvert. how fucking exhausting must that be? how the hell do they keep up with it all the time? hell, im an ambivert, 50/50, and i still get royally pissed when i have too much of one or the other-- how would they deal if they were on the opposite ends of the spectrum?

i love the idea that sometimes they just have little moments, alone in the hades cabin together. nico talks about anything and everything he can think of, free of judgement or fear of how people will see him. will gets to listen, free of the expectation to respond or to respond correctly or deal with all of the bullshit social intricacies hes always broken his back to meet. they both get to take off their masks, take down their walls, and have a moment of rest as their fundamental selves.

i need less "will healing nico" and more "will and nico healing EACHOTHER" because the healer deserves healing too.

i made a small update cause i found this cool item literally called Apollo’s Lyre from sims store and i think it’s a must have here ;P

it’s gonna flop hard but i don’t really care cause it was very relaxing to make 🌞

here’s my sims 3 interpretation of cabin 7. it’s not the most accurate cause the game building mode is quite limited (i couldn’t do much with the roof color for example).

i personally headcanon children of apollo to be as scared of snakes as children of athena are scared of spiders but i wanted to give them a pet anyway so we can consider this one an exception cause she’s a friendly snake with some corny name that i didn’t choose yet 😬

you can see a lot of expansion packs, store and debug content related to apollo’s domains there (music, arts, poetry, theatre, medicine, archery, prophecy). there is also dartboard on patio which is easy to miss cause my ass didn’t know how to take a proper picture ;)

i tried to make it as obvious as possible which bed belongs to Will, i think he would share the attic with his sis Kayla (probs would often sleep at cabin 13 too) 🫡

These are super old but have some solangelo doodles from when I was thinking about how they acted right before they officially started dating (it was lots of sleepovers where they held hands and Nico making prolonged eye contact, + laying in the strawberry field together)

ok but can we talk about how funny frank being scared of nico is? because id like to think it never really went away. he likes frank but hes still the very powerful son of hades and his girlfriends brother who would no doubt kick his ass if he EVER did anything to hurt her.

in house of hades he was really just super depressed and lashed out at anyone who tried to get too close, which frank did for hazel during the cow fight thing. it added on to his base scariness and frank is just generally very tense around him.

like. i need a frank pov fic where he doesnt see nico for a long while after blood of olympus and he swings by camp jupiter to visit hazel, will in tow.and fran

motherfucker is dating the most smiley, caring, seemingly relaxed person at camp half blood who loves him dearly. and nico is so OBVIOUSLY whipped for him and keeps looking at him with the most love in his eyes and smiling between the bouts of good-natured bickering. nico actually kisses him once before leaving for like 5 min to do something and frank is in SHOCK.

frank once thought in hoh that he had a difficult time imagining nico acting out of love for anybody except hazel, and here he is so obviously loving someone else.

like yes, nico is even more powerful than he was in house of hades, and hes still emo and shit. but hes also being nerdy and flirting with his boyfriend who seems to be his polar opposite in every way and the LAST kind if person frank thought nico would like.

it shouldnt work. it works SO WELL. they're rivalling percy and annabeth in the Perfect Couple Awards.

hes also just?? healthier?? taller, less thin, more color in his skin.

and eventually frank realizes nico isnt going to bite and they become much better friends because frank isnt tiptoeing around him. hazel and will are watching with binoculars and cheering them on. (they got along literally within 5 seconds of meeting each other. this whole ordeal has been very funny.)
