Pulp Fiction (1994)
Tumblr media
Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson) are hitmen with a penchant for philosophical discussions. In this ultra-hip, multi-strand crime movie, their storyline is interwoven with those of their boss, gangster Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames) ; his actress wife, Mia (Uma Thurman) ; struggling boxer Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis) ; master fixer Winston Wolfe (Harvey Keitel) and a nervous pair of armed robbers, "Pumpkin" (Tim Roth) and "Honey Bunny" (Amanda Plummer).
Rotton Tomatoes Score - 94%
What I Think - This is one of the most entertaining movies I’ve seen. A very spontaneous plot you’d be a genius to predict what happens text. Along with the dark humor and twisted characters that makes this film great, the casts performances are outstanding. I strongly recommend this to everyone who’s haven’t seen it.

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018)
Tumblr media
An anthology of six short films that take place in 19th-century post-Civil War era during the settling of the Old West.
Rotton Tomatoes Score - 91%
What I Think - Recently released on Netflix, this seems to be an expiremental because of the anthology-style plot ranging around six stories, something Joel and Ethan Coen haven’t done before. To be honest, this movie had trouble keeping my attention. However, the humorous dialogue and plot made it watchable.
My Score - 7.3 / 10

1. Zoe Kazan (Alice Longabaugh)

The Godfather (1972)

When an organized crime family patriarch Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando) barley survives an attempt at his life, his youngest son Michael (Al Pacino) reluctantly joins the family business, becoming involved in an inevitable cycle of violence and betrayal. Although Michael tries to maintain a normal relationship with his wife, Kay (Diane Keaton). He is drawn further into the family business.
Rotton Tomatoes Score - 98%
What I Think - This is one of my favorite movies of all time. Though this film is nearly three hours it is worth the watching, especially with a continuing development in the characters and the story. This film revived Marlon Brando’s career and started Al Pacino’s, both actors played their roles outstandingly. I also must mention the beautiful music in this film composed by Nino Rota. This film is the closest thing to perfection, everything done in this film is perfectly executed. Even if you’re not a film fanatic, it is worth watching.
My Score - 9.8 / 10

The Usual Suspects (1995)
Tumblr media
In this 1995 classic, con man Verbal Kint (Kevin Spacey) attempts to convince to the feds, that the mythic crime lord Keyser Soze not only exists, but is responsible for assigning Kint and his four partners on a 91 million dollar heist that ends with only a few survivors.
Rotton Tomatoes Score - 89%
What I think - First watching this movie I was impressed by both Spacey’s and Palminteri’s performance. With the film being riddled with dark humor and tense moments, it is sure to be an instant favorite to many. Though the film became somewhat confusing and a little slow through the first hour, it ended with one of the most jaw dropping plot twists I’ve seen in a while. That being said, I would strongly recommend this movie to others.
My Score - 8.2 / 10
