i think the bleakest kind of character fate is when it's untimely and lacks closure without mending things and leaves relationships unresolved
#the borgias always provides...#i think about this often wrt juan and lucrezia esp#and also! lucrezia naming a child after him too!#people that don't like these fates...tragic for you. FUN for ME#untimely character fates leave a lasting impact on a narrative#because it dredges up feelings they couldn't or perhaps didn't want to think of whilst said character was alive etc etc i could go on#anyway yeah find me a show that hits me like this one does you won't be able to though there are MANY great shows
