Tarot Art Contest

Nexus Fortuna is a Tarot Tradig Card System & Art Collective. You always wanted to create a Tarot but 78 cards is a little much? Here is your Chance to make your Art part of a real Tarot Deck!

Save this Post so you can find it again easily.

Pick a random Tarot Card. If you don‘t have a deck, you can do it online here.

Take good time to learn what the card means. There are many interpretations for every Card. Find what works best for you.

Reflect, what this Card means to you and your Art.

The Format of the Card has to be 6:10 Portrait. We use 1536x2688px at 300dpi. The medium and style is your‘s for the choosing, as long as it‘s suitable for a 2D card. Please do not add Frames, Card Names or Numbers. We will add the Nexus Fortuna Frame later.

Get creative! What the Card depicts and what style you use is completely up to you. However, the Meaning of the Card has to be easily readable.

Once you are done, reblog this Post and add your Artwork to it. Write the Title of the Card below your Art, so we can identify it easily.

What‘s to win?

The winning Art Works will become a part of the Nexus Fortuna Tarot Trading Card System.

Every Tarot Deck of Nexus Fortuna is a unique combination of Artworks within the traditional Tarot Archetypes.

Every Motive is limited to a Maximum of 333 prints in total. This gives your Card a collectible value. In special cases we even limit a Motive to only 3 prints. These are very special due to their extreme limitation.

The lower left corner of each card depicts a Symbol for the Artist. If you win, we will require you to provide us with a Symbol to represent you.

The Card‘s backside can be scanned with a smartphone to learn the meaning. But this digital backend also contains an NFT of the Card Motive. Every time this digital version of the card gets sold, the Artist gets a share of the Sale. The digital backend will also reveal more information about the Artists, including a link to their Website of Social Media Profile of choice.

With these principles Nexus Fortuna established a new Art Market Place.

Winning this Contest means becoming a part of this New Market Place.

If your Art wins, it might also show up in our Marketing Campaigns.

How to win?

After you finished the 7 steps above, the Artists* of the Nexus Fortuna collective will determine the Winners.

Some of you might get 333 prints. Some might even get the special super-collectable print amount of 3 cards!

You will also have the Chance to join the Nexus Fortuna Artist Community.

We will contact the Winners through their Tumblr Messages. So make sure we can contact you and keep an eye on your Messages.

If you win, we will request your Artist Symbol and some more information about you to put in the digital backend of the card. If you don‘t provide a Symbol within 14 days of getting a winning notice, we will create a random symbol for you.
