If the words offend or provoke, then you're missing the historical reference [which is not long ago] and is exposing your bias. More things I havn't shared about process: Looking at the rest of these photos, this is a great example of times I don't paint COMPLETELY over a piece but repurpose it for what I'm feeling or trying to say at the newer moment. My character 'Skelly With The Blue Tooth' is one of my newer cats who looked cool in March 2018...but is now telling us a heavier story. . Good Cop can be taken in any literal term you see fit. His purpose is to not only expose police culture within the force itself, but also expose how you think. A good cop is a dead cop.... Some can take it to an extreme, but my view is the good officer who looses respect, his career or even his safety when investigating officers sworn to "protect". These stories will be exposed over time once this is somehow over.
