Apple will unveil the iPhone 12 during a virtual event on September 15. Apple is expected to launch four new iPhones this month at a virtual event on September 15. The so-called iPhone 12 will be Apple's first smartphone to support 5G. Apple is also expected to announce two new Apple Watches, a new HomePod, and more this fall. Apple just announced that it will hold a virtual event on September 15, where its highly expected to unveil the iPhone 12 and other new products. The event website doesn't offer many details about what the event will entail, other than to say it will begin at 10 a.m. PT and will take place at Apple Park. A blue Apple logo can also been seen on the page, further fueling rumors that the next-generation iPhone may come in a new blue color option. Apple's iPhone 12 is expected to be its first smartphone with 5G connectivity, coming after Android device makers like Samsung, Huawei, and OnePlus have launched 5G phones throughout 2019 and 2020. Apple's iPhone 12 will reportedly come in four variants: two models to succeed the iPhone 11 and two that will replace the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. All four versions will reportedly featured OLED screens, which offer deeper blacks and richer contrast compared the iPhone 11's LCD panel. The iPhone 11 sequels are expected to come in two sizes, 5.4 inches and 6.1 inches, while the expected iPhone 12 Pro is rumored to come in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch options. The larger high-end model is also expected to come with the same Lidar sensor as the latest iPad Pro, according to Bloomberg. In addition to launching new iPhones, Apple is also expected to unveil two new Apple Watch models, a smaller version of its HomePod smart speaker, and a new iPad Air with thinner bezels like the iPad Pro, Bloomberg reports. The September 15 announcement marks the second major event that Apple has had to hold virtually in recent months because of the coronavirus pandemic. In late June, it held its annual Worldwide Developers Conference digitally for the first time in its 31 years. #applewatch #apple #iphone12 #iphonelover https://www.instagram.com/p/CE4YUAjjzww/?igshid=684960qtti4q

Uber pledges to shift to ‘100 percent’ electric vehicles by 2030. Uber announced Tuesday that “100 percent” of rides will take place in electric vehicles by 2030 in the US, Canada, and Europe, and by 2040 for the rest of the world. But rather than pay drivers directly to trade their gas-burning vehicles for electric ones, the company will impose an extra fee on trips completed in an electric vehicle to incentivize drivers to make the switch. #uber #evtechnology #electriccar #greenearth https://www.instagram.com/p/CE4YDqbjRX0/?igshid=q1w67wokx5d4

Garena Free Fire, Ludo King and Call of Duty top gainers after ban on PUBG in India. The ban on PUBG in India has led to a rise in popularity of other gaming apps such as Garena Free Fire, Ludo King and Call of Duty, making them top gainers in terms of download after the government announced the ban on September 2. Data from Sensor Tower shows that Garena Free Fire, Ludo King and Call of Duty are the top three downloaded games across iOS and Android app stores between September 2 to September 5. While Garena recorded 2.1 million downloads in the four-day period from India, homegrown gaming app Ludo King registered 1.52 million downloads. Notably, Call of Duty received 1.56 million downloads in the past 30 days of which 1.15 million downloads came in just those four days. Data also showed that the three apps are leading the Google Play Store’s top chart for gaming categories in India since September 2. On Apple’s App Store, Call of Duty is at the top. Garena Free Fire was developed by Singapore-based Sea Ltd and Call of Duty by the American tech company Activision Blizzard. Sushant Singh Rajput's family lawyer, "Rhea Chakraborty going to the mortuary was irregular, somebody facilitated the visit" Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission has sent a notice to Cooper Hospital and the Mumbai Police for allowing Rhea Chakraborty to enter the mortuary. Rhea had reportedly spent 45 minutes inside the mortuary. Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer, senior advocate Vikas Singh, has questioned Rhea Chakraborty’s visit. While speaking to ETimes, he stated, “Rhea going to the mortuary was definitely irregular because somebody has facilitated this visit. With the covid situation, how do you manage to get into there? Airtel customers could pay Rs 100 for every GB consumed: Report Airtel customers could soon witness a tariff price hike as hinted by Bharti Airtel chairman Sunil Mittal. As per Mittal, Airtel users should get 1.6GB of data for Rs 160 instead of receiving 16GB data for the same price. Currently, Airtel offers 1GB data per day for 24 days at Rs 199. This translates to around 24 GB data at Rs 199 and if Mittal has his way, users will possibly receive just 2.4 GB data for the price. According to a report in PTI, Sunil Mittal, Chairman at Airtel said, “You either consume 1.6 GB of capacity per month either at this price point or you may prepare to pay a lot more. We are not wanting USD 50-60 like the US or Europe but certainly USD 2 for 16 GB a month is not sustainable.” The Airtel chief also said that the ARPU (average revenue per user) is slated to cross Rs 200/monthly in the next six months or so. Interestingly, Airtel considers watching TV, movies and entertainment to be part of “special services” for which it expects users to pay. “We need a Rs 300 ARPU in which you will still have a lower end at Rs 100 a month with decent amount of data. But if your consumption is largely around watching TV, movies, entertainment and depriving other vital special services networks, then you need to pay for that,” Mittal added. Back in December 2019, Airtel, Jio and Vodafone raised the prices of their respective tariff plans by upto 40 per cent and as a result, Airtel was able to witness an increase in the ARPU to Rs 157 by the end of June 2020. Though it is not currently known whether Jio and Vodafone-Idea are also going to increase the prices of its tariff plans. Reliance Jio’s ARPU recorded an increase to Rs 130 by the end of March 2020. In comparison to Airtel, Jio offers 1GB data every day for 24 days at Rs 149 and Vodafone-Idea offers the same benefits but at Rs 199, the same as Airtel. #airtel #airtel4g #jio #reliance #prepaid #mobilenetwork #news #indianews https://www.instagram.com/p/CEWRmmMD5G4/?igshid=1nsobd8grbxje
