How to Make a Masterlist

Part 1: The Basics

Step 1: Open tumblr on a computer or laptop. It is possible to make a masterlist on a smartphone, but it’s much more difficult and doesn’t turn out as nicely as a masterlist made on a computer. 

Step 2: Create a new post using the ‘Text’ option. 

Step 3: Title your masterlist. 

Step 4: Create a heading. This step is completely optional, but I would recommend this step if you’d like to inform your followers on how often you update. 

Part 2: Organizing Your Masterlist

Step 5: If you write for multiple fandoms, I would start by titling each one. This is optional, but I prefer to make these titles bold, italicized, and I select the ‘Header’ option, although this is entirely optional. If you only write for one fandom, skip this step. 

Step 6: Separate your writing by style. Once again, this is entirely optional. I find it makes the masterlist much easier to navigate, though. I divide my writing into five sections; blurbs, imagines, smut, series, and miscellaneous. If you write for multiple fandoms, make sure to create these categories individually under each header. 

Step 7: List each character who has a post written for them under the proper category. 

Step 8: List all your works under the correct category and character. 

Part 3: Inserting Links

Step 9: Open a new tab, and scroll to the first writing on your list. 

Step 10: Hover over the top right corner of the white box until you see a fold down appear. 

Step 11: Right click the gray fold down. If you are using a laptop without a mouse, click with two fingers at the same time. A pop-up list will appear. 

Step 12: Select the option ‘Copy Link’. 

Step 13: Return to your other tab (the one with the masterlist). 

Step 14: Highlight the title of the link you just copied, and click the option that looks like a diagonal infinity sign. 

Step 15: A blank box will appear. Paste the link you copied into this box, then select ‘Done’. 

Step 16: Repeat steps 9-15 with each writing. This may take a while, but it will make your writings much easier to navigate for both you and your followers!

Summary/ A/N: This fanfic was inspired by the song ‘Casual’ by Chappell Roan. this fanfiction is gonna be short. I am going to continue it tho.Y/N and Clark are secretly dating it’s a small country town they are scared that they’re going to be judged because they’re an interracial couples. Y/N is basically over-hiding their relationship and she also feels like a casualty to Clark. maybe I did CHATGPT to correct the grammar. But everything is original. The grammar is just corrected.

“Clark?!” you yelled at him.

“I’m sorry, I just don’t want to tell my friends that you’re my girlfriend,” Clark apologized.

“Why do you care what they think?” you snapped.

“It’s not about that. It’s about how people view, you know, us. I don’t want you to get hurt,” Clark tried to reconcile.

“I’m more likely to get hurt in this relationship because of your magical powers!”

Clark looked just to the side, recognizing that it was true.

“Or no… maybe it’s not. Maybe it’s because I’m a Black girl. Maybe it’s because I’m just casual! Clark, am I… casual?”

Clark frowned as you said that.

“You’re not casual. You’re my girlfriend. You’re the love of my life.”

You rolled your eyes.

“Lies… lies… and more lies! You know what? I regret being your girlfriend. I regret giving my virginity to you. I regret giving my time to you. I regret even looking at you!”

Clark was really hurt when you said that.

“You’re my princess.”

You side-eyed him and rolled your eyes.

“You know what? I’m leaving!”

He shed a tear as you said that.

“You know, every time you don’t like something, you just leave! That’s your problem—you don’t like to work stuff out!”

“I leave because I have a choice to leave. There is always a door.”

You walked out of the barn…

I love this so cutie!!!!!!!!! I’m going to be so real with y’all right now. I’ve actually never watched Smallville. Which I really want to, but I don’t know where to watch it so yeah for now I’m stuck of watching videos about it on YouTube.

“forget it! i’m not going anywhere today.” you huff while slamming your brush down on your white vanity causing your boyfriend, clark to look up from his spot in your bed. you’d been getting ready for god knows how long for a friends party. and unbeknownst to clark it wasn’t going well. you could leave home in sweats, a raggedy tank top and your bonnet and he wouldn’t be able to take his eyes off you.

“oh it’s not that bad. i think you look good.” clark says nonchalantly as he walks up behind you. he watches as you try to fix your curls into the desired style and it’s not hard to see you were having a hard time. as you mumble under your breath he takes it upon himself to try and help the problem. “ok watch me work my magic” clark goofily says and begins messing with your hair. his “magic” consisted of him putting all your curls into one big ponytail. you attempt to keep your pout on your face fails when you lock eyes with clark who has his signature wide smile on his face behind you.

“clarkkkk nooo it’s just ugh i can’t do this.” you say walking over to your bed that’s covered in potential outfits. clark hates to say it but he’s hoping you just decide to not go leaving you both to just lay around not having to deal with your snobby friends and cheermates pretending to like them. he normally just sucks it up for you but tonight he’s really not in the mood. “awww baby come here.” clark sits down and pats his lap. you plop down looking sad as ever and to clark it was the cutest thing ever.

“well maybe we could stay here y’know. who wants to see those losers anyway.” clark mumbles before peppering light kisses on your neck. all the thoughts in your head that were ready to insist on going have simply faded away and income the need to be up under your boyfriend all night. clark watched as you considered it only imagining what could be happening in that head of yours. only a few seconds pass by when he hears the response he was waiting for. you sighed and said , “okay we’ll skip this one. but only this once.” clark squeezed you tightly and rolled you both over in the bed holding you against his chest.

“now i got you to myself alllllll night baby.” clark laughs softly into your ear. this was better than any party you could ever imagine.
