               WELCOME TO A MORE PERFECT WORLD

In the beginning, there was nothing but the deep, black primordial mass of space. The universe as we knew it was gone, obliterated in a single act, the damage vast and irreparable. It was a mistake - things were never meant to go that way - but they did. Who else would dare to repair the irreparable but ONE MAN? With deft fingers and the nimble mind of a man who had been preparing for such an event his entire life, he pulled the shattered universes back together, a mosaic all made in the image of Doom, with none but David as his witness. With his hands he sculpted the world from broken pieces of clay, and he created the land and the sea and the stars in the sky, and the birds and the beasts and humankind, and then his greatest creation of all  --  the GODS of his new world to preside over all that he had created.

When Doom had done all of this, he looked down upon David, and offered him his hand to pull him up into the new world that they called NEW LATVERIA.

WHAT?   NEW LATVERIA is a group verse for independent roleplayers, based around the Marvel universe and world mythology. In this verse, your character can take the role of god, demi-god, or mortal, all overseen by God-Emperor Doom (@storyofdoom.) Inspired by Neil Gaiman’s American Gods and Marvel’s Secret Wars, the superhumans of the old world are the gods of the new, and they walk among mortals, some recognized, some not. WHERE?  Your dashboard and in the tag (v. new latveria), and should you so wish upon acceptance you may request to join the discord server where you can chat with other verse members, brainstorm mythology, and put out calls for particular plots or relationships. WHEN?  As soon as you are accepted! HOW?  Submit your application to the verse blog by clicking here.
