Tarot Tips

🃏 Find The Empress in your deck. The card behind her will reveal what you need to do to nurture and care for yourself. 

🃏 When in conflict or competition with someone, look for 5 of Wands. The card behind it will reveal the solution to the problem.

🃏 If you see the same card over and over again in readings, it is a sign and you must pay attention to its message for you.

🃏 For a better understanding of each card, observe it closely and form your own interpretation that follows its themes. It will help you interpret readings better.

🃏 To find out what is making you feel stuck or delayed, look to The Hanged Man. The card underneath him will show what is holding you back. The card in front of him will show you how to overcome it.

🃏 When shuffling your cards, if any card drops out of your grasp, take it as a sign and read the card. 

🃏 You do not need crystals with you to do proper readings, but a good way to cleanse your deck is to place a clear quartz on the top of your deck before each reading. Keep in mind; there’s a variety of ways you can cleanse your deck.

Thank you very much for taking the time to look into this and try to help! I’ll definitely keep looking into it and listening to them to see who speaks the loudest too me. Maybe after cleansing everything and meditating on it I’ll see if the clarification cards help!

So, the other day I did a deity identification tarot spread made by shelbymelissa here on Tumblr that someone had shared on the pagans and witches amino. I decided to try it out for myself as things like meditation and all that have never really helped me with identifying which deities may be trying to reach out to me. So, I did the spread, and these are the results that I got. 

At first I thought it was a pretty random spread. I was like

None of this makes much sense. However, after I looked into it, I made an interesting discovery that, maybe, it could be Odin. 

Is there anyone that’s familiar with Tarot or deities that could help me interpret this a bit more? It would be helpful, really.

Things to do as a Broke Witch

Copy all those spells you’ve been saving online into your Grimoire

Tidy up your altar, if you have one

Reset your crystals with new intentions

Go on a walk, in nature or city, reconnect with your environment’s energy

Meditate

Look up upcoming moon phases and mark them in your journal/planner, plan out your rituals and readings for them 

Purifying/Cleansing bath with just water

Go through your tarot journal and find any cards that keep popping up in your readings, do a “stalker reading” to figure out why the card being a creeper

These are just some things I do when I’m broke af but want to progress with my craft.

A bag to empower and fill you with self-love

Needed:

small pouch or sachet

white or pink candle

lavender

sea salt

rosemary

pink salt

peppermint

rose quartz

🌸Light the candle.

🌸Place the ingredients in the pouch visualizing it being filled with love and filling you.

🌸Hold the bag up to the candle (without burning it!) and chant “I will be kinder to myself” as much as you feel necessary as you seal it.

🌸Meditate on your thoughts as the bag charges.

Use:

Carry the bag with you whenever you feel clouded with negativity or need a boost of confidence in yourself.

I really need money for university. Like,, desperately. I don’t qualify for private loans, and I’ve gotten all I can out of scholarships and grants and federal loans. So if I can’t raise any more money then I’m royally fucked and have to drop out and probably not be able to go back to school. Some things about me: I’m 20, live with my mom (she’d be a cosigner but her credit is bad so we don’t qualify) who is a single parent of 3, one of which has cancer. So, not like we have much money laying around to just throw at my college now that we’ve found all this out. Hopefully I can get my other semesters covered but for the meantime I’m just really desperate I only have like a month left please help even by just reblogging this,,
