Yes this is the only thing that all of our family thought about it. Everyday we ask ourselves  if we going to live anymore or not .  Everyday in this cruel war we imagine one of us dead and feeling so sad about what will happen next day.

Now after the war all the building are destroyed here and there is no life around us please we need to evacuate 🙏🥺

Please help my kids and my family to evacuate from here. Gaza now is not for human being living we need you support to stand with 18 members of the family to travel to another place that could find some peace and start new life without wars.  We live in many wars and we are so tired.

Hi! I had a question about an anon answer y9u just posted, about unmasking and suddenly struggling more with sensory things you used to be able to handle. Is that common? I keep finding myself having more and more trouble with things I used to be able to deal with, and it's given me a lot of imposter syndrome wrt my autism. My brain keeps saying if I could deal with loud noises for 35 years then maybe I'm just forcing it or making it up- why did finding out I'm autistic mean it's all so much harder? Why does it feel like loud noises hurt even more now than before?

Oh, yes this is very common very late autistics.

And the truth comes down to masking. You didn't handle loud noises for 35 years. You swallowed back the pain and endured it.

Now that you're diagnosed, you know that pain is real and you no longer need to endure it. It actually and literally hurts and you don't need to put up with it. Why mask that when you have an answer and can say "no, I'm wearing headphones to finally feel comfortable".

You're not acting more autistic. You're just no longer acting neurotypical.

I want people to understand this.

Nonverbal and nonspeaking people are capable of going into higher education, and many have.

Does this mean every nonspeaking and nonverbal person will go into higher education? No. Lots of nonspeaking and nonverbal people are not able to go into higher education for various of reasons. This however does not mean that every nonspeaking and nonverbal person is unable to go into higher education.

College is something that a lot of people want, including nonspeaking/nonverbal people. If you’re able to, then go for it! If you want to, then go for it!

Nonspeaking/nonverbal people have been kept out of higher education for a very long time, and to see blog posts and articles about nonspeaking/nonverbal people going into higher education, it just makes my heart happy, because I’m not alone. Stop underestimating nonverbal/nonspeaking people. Stop saying we can’t do things. Some of us can’t, and that’s completely ok, but we need to start making it more possible for nonspeaking/nonverbal people to achieve their goals and dreams.
